My 2 children (8 and 10) have both now been doing the kids BJJ class for a few months. They absolutely love it! I have a boy and a girl and it is amazing to see how confident they have become to stand up for themselves, especially at school/in playgrounds. This is 100% down to the amazing teaching approach at Resistance. The classes are always light-hearted, fun and very safe.

I have known Ibby for years and he is the most kind and humble guy you will come across. Excellent club with high class black belt instructors. Mike Hawkins is a very highly skilled instructor who breaks down everything in detail to help you understand the art and eventually become second nature. You also get to train with other black belts and a variety of coloured and white belts who all share the same passion for BJJ. A great mix of male and female practitioners who all make you feel welcome. A wonderful art for self defence and fitness practised under a friendly and supportive environment. If you are looking to practise this brilliant art be it for self defence or fitness, you have to check this club out.

Excellent BJJ club, always my number one place to train in London. There's a great mix of people with a range of experience from beginner to high level so the training here is amazing, but the friendly atmosphere and banter between everyone is what sets the club apart from the rest. Anyone looking to get into BJJ would highly recommend coming here, or even if you've trained for years and moving to the area you'll get some really great rolls in 🤙

The Resistence was recommended to me by a friend with over 20yrs experience in Martial arts as I was looking for somewhere for my kids. Spoke with Ibby on the phone which was easy, very informative and welcoming. All levels are welcome from those that have never tried BJJ to professional level. I was invited down with my kids to just watch or if they was comfortable take part. Ibby and Gemma has a natural energy which resonates with adults as well as children! The best decision I have made highly recommended. They even offered online services throughout the lock down and provided everything possible a hearing to government guidelines with constant updates as they happened!

A friendly and welcoming club with members at all levels from complete beginners to advanced competitors. Really outstanding teaching - well-structured, signposted and reinforced with practice and videos. Among the best places in London to train BJJ IMHO.

Great place with great vibes,always a laugh to be had. Coaches are fab and very easy to talk to. Great for kids, my son has been attending sessions under Ibby for awhile now and is racking up Gold medals. Well done to The Resistance!!

Great place to train. Some of the friendliest people you can meet. And white belts get the opportunity to train with coloured belts. I feel they have taught me so much in the relatively short time I’ve been there so far.

Both of my boys attend classes during the week and they love it. Ibby is great at communicating with us and keeps the kids engaged. He's strict, but also fun and a patient teacher.

Best club about, good mat space. Recently signed up after moving from another club and have been very welcomed from the start. Good vibes, good people, good training partners 👍🏻

We have been attending The Resistance Jujitsu class for over 3 years now. The classes are well structured and Ibby and Gemma take pride in their club and the progression of the children/teenagers. Always encouraging and supportive you are made to feel so welcome and at home. Such lovely people. We would recommend this club over and over again!

My first Bjj class was on Monday 10th Jan. Never done Bjj before and I was blown away by everything that night and the night after. Great class, people were very welcoming.
