😠 I wish I could give Zero stars. It seems to be common practice to close before 17:30 at the Lewisham Branch Refused entry at 17:20 to the ROYAL MAIL POST OFFICE. /THANKS SAM/ I went to this store yesterday (Saturday 24/09/16) and i kept looking for an a3 sketchbook in the selves but I couldn't find it, so I did ask to a lady working there. We went to the section where this product was suppused to be and as there was none out there, she told me they run out of them, so I should check in other WHSmith (as I was quite in a rush). I kept looking in the store for other items I needed, when suddenly she came back to me with two a3 sketchbooks that she could find inside, even though I did not ask her to do so, by her own initiative she went inside and did check for the item, even though she didn't know if she would find me in the store). I asked her name so I could review her really kind and brilliant customer service, thanks a lot Sam, I wish all the customer service in retail were similar to this pleasant experience.

I wish I could give Zero stars. It seems to be common practice to close before 17:30 at the Lewisham Branch Refused entry at 17:20 to the ROYAL MAIL POST OFFICE. Member of staff told me: " They didn't care what I came to do" that "They had the power to close the store early" because "The queue was too long" and they "wanted to go home at 17:30". Then proceeded to wind down the shutters mid conversation! Her name is "Jo". Absolutely vile. Rude isn't the word. I visited the store the following day as I missed the previous days' last collection and even saw her own staff members huff and roll their eyes at her belittling & unprofessional tone. If you don't believe me. Send a mystery shopper or visit WHSmith / ROYAL MAIL Post Office for yourselves. Shocking!!!

They really need to sort out the one colleague to serve at the Post Office counter. People waiting in the queue for half hour or more is not on. This is a regular occurrence and needs to stop!

One star because I can't give a zero star. Started a conversation with a member of staff; she turned her back to me and carry on doind whatever she was doing without any reply and she only replied because I challenged her. Rude, dull and uninterested. Terrible experience in costumer service, or should I say the lack of it.

Its a large store full of rubbish. I have tried before to buy a few simple stationary items - they are always stupidly overpriced, and very difficult to find in the first place. There are often no people to ask where things are and when you do find them they struggle themselves - will use Amazon as cheaper and almost quicker than rooting round in here!

I queued up for 10 minutes at main counters to spend £600 on gift vouchers. They told me as soon as I got there I had to queue at post office to get them. The PO queue was a mile long. Why??

I asked to pay them money for a covid mask - they said they didn't sell them and didn't have any. I then pointed to a sign saying they had to give them to members of the public and they magically found an entire box. All the staff are rude and unhelpful and had 0 interest in doing their jobs

WHSmith was alright, but the Post Office was disappointing, as they still would not accept international parcels! That is an absolute disgrace! In this digital age the Post Office should be able to remedy the "cyber attack" causing this problem with international parcels much quicker! I have been trying to post a small parcel to Canada for the last four weeks without any success! It's absolutely disgusting that a "Royal" Mail Service should be so vulnerable! Unfortunately there is no alternative to sending small parcels abroad.

Dark dim and dismal store with barely any lights on. Seems closed when it’s open. Like some 1 bulb energy saving communist Russia 80s place. Staff never help. Just chatting amongst themselves. Quite a surreal but ultimately disappointing experience

Young wet behind the ears bloke serving behind the counter, no please, no thank you, no smile, miserable to customers; beggars belief how these people pass interviews and get front line customer facing jobs!! WH Smith must be desperate.

WHSmith in Lewisham is a very nice and clean store. Love the staff that work here very friendly and polite. Always have great experience whenever I need to go to the WHSmith Lewisham branch.

What is the point in having self service machines that are not turned on or manager properly. Making us all wait so long when we can just do it ourselves.

Absolutely DISGUSTING and UNPROFESSIONAL customer service. Do everyone a favor and shut this place down. Shame on Royal Mail for hiring these people.

Went to get some revision guides, paid, bagged and beeped at the door. Everything was fine, the security was really nice and helped me identify the item that beeped. Brought to the counter for another woman to help me. She was really rude talking to me as if i was dumb and called me a dork under her breath she had a really bad attitude and was really hard to talk to. I was not offended just shocked at the appalling costumer service. Save yourself some trouble and DO NOT go to this WHSMITH.

Well finding things are not to hard. Staff are ok but don't really seem interested very dull looking. The quality of the shelves are meh not the best , how am I supposed to know the prices? Also the prices are quite ridiculous I mean come on. Overall not to bad but improve on the quality of the store, lower the prices and offer books that are are various and maybe even from YouTubers or famous people.

Horrific queues. One server. Two staff wandering around doing nothing. Do yourself a favour - go elsewhere. I’m writing this in a queue I’ve been in for 20 mins and it looks like I have the same to go before I’m served!
