Today at 5:56 pm I wanted to enter the shop, the unfriendly human being working in there told me that they are closed, although at the door are opening hours indicating closure at 6:30 pm. RUDE UNFRIENDLY with lots of attitude male employee! Good luck with the crisis coping and with this kind of employee in ur stores!!!

Floor to ceiling t-shirts and cheap throw-away trainers and not a single staff member willing to utter more than 1 syllable words. Remember now why I don’t shop here.

Best experience I have ever gotten in sports direct been here a few times and the service was good but nothing special but today the team that was on was all so friendly and helpful, I always have trouble finding shoes that last but they had great knowledge and helped me find what I needed and did it with great customer service.

Staff was quite helpful but this sports direct shop is quite small and the stick is less. There were good discounts going on but I didn't get the right sizes so couldn't buy much , even though I wanted to. Was looking for a tennis racket for my son but didn't get the size that I was looking for. Same was the case with Adidas t shirts. There are 2 floors - basement and 1st floor.

The customer experience in this shop is dreadful but then maybe that's to be expected given the low prices. You have to try stuff on before you buy because they don't have a returns policy but be prepared to spend 15 minutes walking around the store trying to find someone who can open the one changing room.

Employees are not willing to help you staring at you in a so rood manner. Never seen this kind of staff in any shop in my life.

I hope this Ludgate Hill/St Pauls branch isn't the SportsDirect "flagship" store. Staff stood around checking their phones. If you do ask for help its not usually a very polite experience. I actually witnessed one member of staff trying to get to a rack that a customer was unfortunately stood in front of and the orders given to the customer were "I need to get to there". The managers/owners of this store really need to pay a "secret shopper" visit to this store to see what level of "customer service" their staff provide. We left after getting a short exposure to the "Sports Direct customer experience" and went to "Blacks" nearby for our purchase and the staff there were extremely polite, very helpful and pleasant - what a difference compared to Sports Direct!

This place is great!! Everything for runners, all year gear. Staff so helpful, I want to adopt them.

Terrible customer service. I've called several stores and no one answered. The stores don't answer there phones and they don't use their emails. There's social media sites are just as there for illusion. Terrible, I've been waiting for 10 day to get my order confirmation number, I have yet to receive it. I also do not have a tracking number or a receipt. Terrible. 1 star is too generous.

Rude staff and horrible service. Me and my friend got pushed by a member of staff for no reason.

The staff were incredibly rude and almost refused to help, the selection was very poor, and the store itself was messy and in poor shape. There were about 4 staff members doing absolutely nothing but treated me with contempt when I asked about different sizes or where to look for things.

SPORTS DIRECT DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS! - Purchased a few different sizes from the store in Angel as their changing room door was “broken”. I went to return these items to a different store the next day and a manager said that they do not offer refunds and the items would need to be returned to the original store of purchase. I then had to return to the Angel store where a manager tried to get me to accept store credit, citing once again they don’t offer refunds. Please be aware of this before purchasing anything because they don’t seem to communicate this information during the time of purchase. I will be avoiding Sports Direct from here on out. Terrible and unethical company.

Horrible experience, asked to try a pair of shoes, I asked for 2 sizes and I've been rudely told to try the smaller size first before she gets the other one out because she's already selling an "expensive" pair of shoes, mind you I was holding a pair of £110 shoes so I'm not sure what she classified as expensive. I'm not there to be told what to do with my purchase. Incompetent staff, terrible service.

This Sports Direct is perfectly located in St Paul’s very useful for the city workers! It is diagonal to the Cathedral and has a bunch of shops around it. It has 2 floors upstairs being Men focused and downstairs being female + miscellaneous. I find that the stock of the items can be extremely hit and miss and the size availability is not great at all. Staff wise I’ve always had helpful people there!

I am not used to posting negative comments but this time I was not happy with the customer service. I went looking for an item that I saw on their website, they didn't have it and the guy told me to go to another store without offering me any alternative item. it's a bit like I don't have goodbye !!

Fantastic shopping experience, staff member went above and beyond to help me use my electronic gift card . Few of the other staff were really polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend shopping here.

Very helpful Hand sanitizer by door, when I couldn't get it to work, they was right on it and exchange it l. Helped me check for size I wanted as l didnt want to be touching all the clothes, for my safety as well as everyone else's. Found what I wanted a bathing suit (in October), as hotel stayed in had a pool, and they had various sizes still in stock.
