An amazing selection of food from all over. Nice friendly staff at the stalls. Meals are from £4 - £6.50 so really cheap. There is always somewhere new to try. The smells are just wonderful. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options too - there's something for everyone one here. I can't wait to visit it again. It's making me hungry just thinking about it.

Lots of stalls in the market mainly food options, there are flavours from all over the world. From Brazilian to Indian, Vietnamese fish and chips and whatever may tickle your fancy. It is off the main road but easy to find, just follow your nose the smell from Whitecross Street is heavenly.

A moderately sized street market near Old Street, open over week days with a variety of different cuisines to choose from. Having eaten at every stall, I can say that anywhere you go will give you a satisfying meal for a good price, with canned drinks purchasable for 50p. The standouts for myself are the chicken katsu stall and yum bowl stall, though most if not all stalls are worth trying if you have the time. The market can get busy, so would recommend arriving early at around 12-12.30, though later can be enjoyable for the bustle.

Do yourself a well-earned favour and go get a falafel wrap from the Saladin stand. One of the most delightful dishes this great market has to offer.

Great place for lunch if you can grab it back to office or don't mind to eat standing on the street (I didn't). Wide variety of street food stalls (Indian, Korean, Brazilian... You name it), one should not get bored for at least two weeks here even if you into getting something new each day! In Nov it was reasonably crowdy during lunch hours, I guess it can be worse in the summer. Still if I ever have the chance again to visit London for work I will gladly come back.

Great selection of food with a variety of options. As a coeliac it's great to see numerous gluten free options available and clearly sign posted throughout the market. My current favourite is Beijummy which is an Amazonia inspired flatbread. This is something that is naturally gluten free and is made from cassava starch and water. I go for the French Brie option which is £7. Great market in a good location. Well worth a visit if you are in the Shoreditch / Bank area.

So many great choices in the market! Everything is highly recommended and I'd say 90%+ of stalls accept card payments. Most food cost between £5 - £9 here. Portions are also very good to big in most stalls. Brazilian stall is a must try!

Excellent Street food market in center of city. I was not expecting it. Great choice of budget food. Few stalls also display cleanliness ratings. I love it and recommend it anyday.

Variety galore, and reasonably priced - if you're in the area you must visit this place.

Great selection available. You just have to find the right time to go that's not too crowded so you don't have to wait too long. If you go on Fridays, you can pick up some deals as they don't operate on the weekends

Great market for a working day lunch. They have LOTS of options for everyone. But very busy during the week. Be early, or enjoy the queues with your co-workers!

Great variety of food at good value, something there for everyone. Does get busy with the office workers so pick your time well. You can also take your food into the two chimneys pub as long as you buy a drink in there

There’s a lot to choose from here and it seems like they all do well because during the lunch break, the lines are long at every booth. We picked up a couple of bánh mì sandwiches.

Super cool street market with lots of different dishes available. Very popular with office teams at lunch time. Great for grab and go if everyone wants something different. I'd definitely recommend the Paella, it was delicious!!

A wide selection of bang average food at ridiculous prices. Meals cost an average of £8 and mainly consist of falafel, rice, or bread with a selection of cheap cuts of grilled meat.

I love this street market in the heart of City. For 5 quid you can have a delicious street food from across the globe. The chicken tikka wrap stall, falafel stall, French crepes stall and the Thai one are among my favourites!

Great selection of food and different cuisine making sure there is something for everyone no matter the size of group you go with which is really ideal. There is Brazilian, Turkish, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, a salad bar, dinner kebabs, pies just to name a few of the options. Subsequently my office end up here for lunch quite often.

Oh god, discovery of the year! Perfect place to go out on the lunch. Plenty of choices, from sea food to pizzas and everything in between. All food I got so far super yummy as well as reasonably priced

Fantastic street food. Perhaps one of the only places in immediate area where you get more food than you can eat, for less than 10£. Food from all around the world! Centrally located. Try to make it here by 12 otherwise be prepared for a very real 30 minute wait.

Lots of Food but not a market . Now for office workers food . Prices very high. None of your old type stalls suppose it progress to on line shopping.

Quiet residential street in Central London with great cafes, restaurants and streetart

A terrible blight on local residents as the council isn't bothered about enforcing rules or making adequate checks. Noise issues, hygiene issues, access issues for elderly and disabled residents, rubbish dumping, stallholders chasing customers with knives, to name jus a few issues

Good place to try different foods. Post COVID prices are a little like everywhere. But it is still cheaper than restaurants.

What a lovely experience it was to try various cuisine on the Whitecross market. I would give 5 stars, but the issue my colleagues had that not all stalls accepted credit card or any more modern form of payment. It must have been cash. I felt when a request for a bit more meat come in the price was hiked by 150% which I found disproportionate as the person didn’t receive a proportionate increase of the meat portion. Another drawback is queuing - food should be served faster. I can imagine people are working really hard to deliver but again, one queue was just extraordinarily long and it took 15-20min to get food. That’s not ideal during a working week to go for a work lunch / meal. Moreover, only cutlery we got was a fork. We had large meat chunks and it was hard to eat with a fork only. Something to think about and optimise. Overall happy but more suitable for tourists than work lunch.

Amazing market, Monday to Friday only during lunch time. Variety of food from across the world including good option for vegetarians and vegans. My favourite ones are Pizza by Lil Italy, Falafel shop, Thai and the Mexican burrito. The prices for them are in range of 5-7 quid and I must say portion sizes are huge and you will be more than full.

Great choice of lunches!! The falafel stall and the kebab stall are my favourites, big portions & good value for money. Lovely flavours, and can choose your own salad bits etc.
