I have been attending the Art of Elusive Fighting classes for over 4 years. I have always looked forward to the weekly classes, they are useful informative, and totally unique - the knowledge and skills taught are on another level. I have tried various martial arts in the past, and they do not come close in teaching principles of fighting and protecting yourself and family. The class is like a family and everyone is very helpful, supportive and open. I do like that we discuss khalsa ideals and principles as well. Our teacher has amazing knowledge and very attentive to his students, and encourages his students to think and figure out scenarios. The class is truly value for money for the time, knowledge and skills gained. This is the one thing I definitely miss during COVID-19.

Martial arts taught with focus and attention to detail. During my years learning at elusive I was taught not only how they fight, but how to analyse real life situations calmly and logically. If you want know how to defend yourself and others there is no better place to learn the mechanics and psychology of fighting. Only for people who are willing to be serious and committed to training.

Each of us (students) felt we had the attention of the teacher. Respectfully taught the class. Very educational, as the instructor had a comprehensive knowledge of the arts. The art it’s self is great! Logical, realistic and elusive! Have been bouncing across different martial arts and different schools.. no longer!

If you are serious about grounding yourself through strong martial principles, then I could not recommend Elusive Fighting any higher. By attending classes I was not only able to improve my knowledge around body mechanics and different fighting approaches around the world but I was able to develop strategic skills that I apply on a day to day basis both in and out of class. I was able to further grow my confidence and was given a strong support system to help further my progression. Elusive provides a safe, nurturing environment that truly helps you along every step of your journey. If you are serious about fighting then there truly is no other place to go.

We have had the absolute honour of training with Ustaad Harcharan Singh Ji whom we fondly address as 'Veerji" (Brother in Panjabi) since 2013. Prior to learning we have struggled with martial arts teachers from the Khalsa Sikh background who taught the necessary skill set that would ensure I had the best chance of survival should I face an attack. Prior to Art of Elusive Fighting, this was non-existent for me. When I reached out, Veerji was very professional and welcoming even with the very little prior training and experience I had in martial arts. When I attended my first class, there was a professional atmosphere and I felt comfortable. I attended my first class, my first impression was 'This is someone who lives and breathes fighting'. It was exactly what was looking for and I was genuinely excited. The class fees are pittance for what you get back in terms of feedback, teaching, learning and time invested in your progression, what you receive back from the classes makes the cost forgettable. That was over 8 years ago. I will never learn from anyone else. I will stop learning altogether rather than go somewhere else because I know there is nothing close to Art of Elusive Fighting in the UK. Harcharan Singh has a unique and logical method of teaching that is tailored to an individual. He has the patience of a legit saint! Some things would take me weeks to understand and he worked with me at my pace, something that I personally think is rare. He requires absolute commitment and dedication so I would not recommend this class for those looking for a hobby or display forms of martial arts like Gatka. As to the curriculum, there is nothing; no scenario, no situation (including holding my newborn!) that we as students in my cohort class put to Harcharan that he did not find a counter defence for. We were taught the real dangers and reality of the fighting world that is seldom covered by mainstream martial artists. This was instilled into us early so we had respect for what we were being taught and how, if done right could make the difference between life and death for us. I have been taught so much:- - Gun/Knife disarms, - hand to hand combat, - multiple attackers, - cashpoint holdups, - Sticks/sword/long staff fighting techniques, - Boxing, - Yoga, - Building core strength, - Building stamina, - Stretches and warm-ups, - Self defence whilst holding an infant. Personally I have struggled to trust male teachers of any sort but after spending so many years training with Harcharan Singh he treats all women with a quiet form of respect and dignity. This is something we have never found anywhere else so I would highly recommend Harcharan Singh to any females especially who are serious about martial arts and self defence. Harcharan Singh embodies the form of a teacher (Gurdev) I have gained so much from the classes and seminars; so much so that our family’s lives have been transformed for the better as a result. If you are a Khalsa, there is *no-one in the UK*, and i would argue in the West that I know that has preserved and then gone on to teach Shastr Vidiya in a way to would make the Khalsa Panth a genuine force to be reckoned with. I look forward to sending my children to learn from Harcharan Singh when they are of age and discipline.

Art of Elusive Fighting is more than just a fighting school, it is where children learn morals, ethics and life skills. The teacher is so easy to connect with due to the fact that he has children of his own and thus understands not only from a teacher's point of view but also from the perspective of a parent. The teacher has a genuine passion for passing down his skill and this makes the class engaging and fun for the children. All 3 of my children have been attending for a number of years now. I'm so glad I found this.

I highly enjoyed attending weekly Elusive martial arts classes prior to the C-19 outbreak. Brought a breath of fresh air to my week. The instructor is very dedicated and knowledgeable in numerous martial art forms. However the classes do not focus on any one particular fighting form, the focus is on real-world self-defense. The instructor is always open to questions and discussion on everything that is taught. And the teaching is done in a structured and safe way so that the students build up their knowledge and confidence. This class is not about mindless sparring, instead you learn intelligently using body mechanics and flow to dominate an opponent. There is a big onus on individuals to spend the week practicing in their own time to master what they have learnt in class and expedite their progress. There is no holding student back until you have completed a set number of sessions or gained a number of belts. You dictate how fast you progress. My only criticism is the classes can be several hours long, almost a weekly seminar, but you more then get your monies worth here! I have learnt a lot from attending these classes, there is so much knowledge packed into each session. Very highly recommended to anyone prepared to dedicate time and effort to learn this art.

Been attending Elusive classes for a few years now. It has been - and continues to be - a great learning experience for me and fellow students, in developing fight IQ, ability and psychology. For anyone serious about learning 'real' self defence, applicable to real world situations and developing themselves, you will not be left disappointed.

I have been learning from Elusive for over 6 years now, starting off with the weekly martial arts class in which we cover everything from practical fitness exercises, hand to hand combat, dealing with knives, sticks, swords, axes etc. We cover common scenarios that might arise in day to day life and how to deal with multiple opponents on the street in a safe and realistic manner. I have always found the teaching style to be engaging, fun but also highly focused and realistic in applications. The principles of fighting are emphasised to make them second nature rather than trying to learn a plethora of specific "moves". In addition to the weekly classes, I started the 2 to 1 boxing sessions last year. These are focussed on bare-knuckle boxing and so is tailored for practical self-defence for the street without the luxury of gloves and a canvas floor. I highly recommend this school of teaching for the highly knowledgeable teacher, practical fighting skills and the wonderful group of students that you will train with.

Martial Arts taught with integrity, attention to detail and a safe environment. I have been attending Art of Elusive Fighting for a few years. The teacher is a very patient and ensures all students understand the concepts and, principles that are the foundation of the fighting arts- more importantly, applying this unique skillset to fight and protect your family (if necessary)- rather than regurgitate drills! What has stayed with me from day one is- the unique approach to fighting. It is taught as a true “art”- and applying this, to many styles- empty-hand, Tiger, Crane, Stick… It is clear that the teacher has a genuine care for the student’s progression and often uses real life scenarios to think, understand and find solutions. As others have said the classes have strong camaraderie and are always enjoyable

If you are looking for a deep, practical, and ever evolving martial art taught by a great teacher then I would say you can't go wrong with Art of Elusive Fighting. Harcharan Singh is a diligent teacher, that challenges, encourages and inspires his students to excel in all spheres not just martial arts. Highly recommended.

I've been attending Art of Elusive Fighting classes for just over three years now. What you obtain from attending isn't just a class, but a family. The classes cover many facets of street combat, starting from the foundations of footwork to the body techniques required to fight effectively. If you commit to these classes, you will receive benefits far more than you would expect. You will learn alot and you will also be in great company of support. It's not just the techniques you will learn from, but the conversations with the teacher and peers are of great importance also. I'm looking forward to attending again once more. Thank you Art of Elusive Fighting.

I've had the good fortune of attending classes over a number of years and can say without any reservation that it has been one of the best experiences of my life. Classes are practical and deal with real life situations with room for critique as well as opportunities to bring scenarios to test and find solutions. This is one the fundamental aspects of the learning, the principles taught show you that the solution is always within the foundation of your training and that there is no one technique and that the solutions are always with the student and not only the teacher. Progress is measured by a student’s dedication. Time and opportunity is given for each student to grow. The values encouraged are values to carry through life and the classes also offer a real brotherhood for life. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a real opportunity to learn the fighting arts.

I am very fortunate to be attending Elusive classes for about 2 years. Our teacher is very knowledgeable in a range of MA styles which is incorporated into his own unique style of fighting. He is very dedicated as exemplified by his vast knowledge, attentive and extremely patient. Students are always encouraged to actively think and apply their Elusive knowledge on a variety of real-life scenarios. Classes emphasize the physics of movement and the efficient use of your body or weapons, confidence, mental/physical balance, and spiritual growth. Class members become like family and are very respectful and helpful towards to each other. i would highly recommend!

I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to attend Elusive weekly classes and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone with a serious interest in the martial arts. Our teacher has extensive knowledge of martial arts, this being evident with his focus on teaching the principles of fighting, many of which can be applied to everyday life. He always encourages students to ask questions and actually think about what they are learning. The classes require you to be very focused, but this practice of focusing has proven to be very useful in other aspects of my life. The fighting scenarios we cover are very realistic and are taught in a safe manner. The students at Elusive are dedicated individuals and are serious about learning authentic martial arts. It has been a joy to train with them. I always leave an Elusive class having developed both my body and my mind. I can honestly say this has been an investment I’ve not looked back on.

I have attended classes for over a decade now and cannot express how amazing my experience has been. I have not only been able to learn various martial arts styles, but have also focused on the mental side that comes with fighting. You are able to question and trial out real life scenarios and work through fighting problems instead of having all the answers given. In my opinion Elusive Fighting is one of the most comprehensive martial arts classes out they’re, with an incredible community and one of the best teachers leading the way. I could not recommend highly enough.

If you want to learn to proper scientific, technical boxing, then this is place to train. Old school techniques and methods which were taught to the greats such as Jack Dempsey, Sugar Ray are taught here. Teaching style is very good and very well explained. The art of intelligent fighting by being smart are instilled, fight smart not hard.

Excellent teaching of real martial arts. Involving students and creating a positive and challenging learning environment which drives progress. Deeper talks of philosophy, theology, politics and everything in-between makes classes both physically and mentally challenging. Would recommed to anyone serious about deeper knowledge of martial arts as well as physical progression

Great in-depth instructions. Just what I wanted from a boxing coach, unlimited knowledge into the art! It’s pushed me to levels above what I expected to reach and opened my eyes to what I can achieve with discipline, dedication and hard work.

I started my journey with AOEF and quickly realised that I had to ‘un learn to learn’. I had undertaken some weapons training before, however when training with Ustaad Harcharan Singh ji, I soon realised how much I didn’t know. Ustaad jis teaching was effective and it shows how much I didn’t know. From coming from a background of ground and pound, I soon realised the effectiveness of parrying and gliding the strike, I think Strike 5 is my favourite (if you know you know) The weapon work is second to none and the principles that are behind AOEF are excellent
