We had our intimate wedding here and it was a beautiful day. Lots of photo opportunities and there is a big park behind it as well. We didn't book the gardens or pavilion but that looked even more beautiful. The registrars were lovely. There's lots of options to make your day exactly as you want it.

The Merton registry office is one of my favourite venue. I really love the open, large space around the building. The venue is very spacious with many rooms and options to book a ceremony. It's even possible to get married outside during the summer and to have your reception in the building. There is a large outside space and a beautiful wooden door where you can snap some awesome photos. It's worth taking a walk around the park for more opportunities to take photos and enjoy the nature. Spacious car park just next to the venue, but if you having your wedding there you can have about 10 cars parked inside.

I was at Morden Park House to register the death of my partner of 30 years. I found the staff caring and helpful especially at such a difficult time.

Thank you so much for hosting the BEST day of our lives! The Sheridan room was absolutely perfect for us, we were really well looked after, and all of our guests were super happy. The park around the venue is a great place for photos and there is ample parking for guests just outside (small fee). A special thank you to Deborah, our celebrant, who was so kind and helpful beforehand as well as on the day - she even said a few words in French which made my family feel welcomed and included. We highly recommend Merton Register Office to other couples.

Morden Park House was the first registry office we visited and we decided on it on that very first visit. We fell in love with the beauty of the building... We also had a chance to meet with one if the registrars on that day outside the building who was heading out but was also so kind to answer all of our questions with patience and a warm smile. You can never ask enough questions when you are planning a wedding (and if you are like me) and having an instant reply to all of our emails were such a relief. It felt like from the start they delicately carried us to the House, to the room, to the ceremony. When the day came and we entered the House, it felt like home thanks to all of the team members and registrars. They were so understanding, kind, friendly and professional. They helped our guests who were helping us with the music, camera, photography greatly. All of our guests were chatting about how amazing the team of Morden Park House were and we could not agree more. Thank you so much Morden Park House team and registrars for being this amazing!

We had our wedding ceremony in July 2023 outside of their beautiful courtyard in wooden Gazebo. Everything was perfect and we have unforgettable memories for the rest of our lives. The staff was exceptional, funny and very sweet really lovely people and the atmosphere was fantastic. The building itself is beautiful and our pictures and video turned out to be amazing! I photographed a wedding here and it was honestly perfect! Big windows for all that gorgeous natural light, lovely soft neutral colours and the staff were very helpful and accomodating with anything I needed to make sure I got the perfect shots for my happy couple.

Got married here a couple of weeks ago and everything about it was absolutely amazing! The venue and room are so stunning - all of our guests loved it too! The staff are really lovely and made us both feel very comfortable. The perfect place for the perfect day. Thanks again!

Beautiful building, friendly atmosphere, great place to get married.

I am a wedding photographer and have photographed numerous weddings at Merton Register Office. It is a beautiful house with gorgeous ceremony rooms and set in scenic parkland. The registrars are helpful, accommodating and photographer friendly. It is obvious that they care about giving the couple the best experience during their day. If you are planning a small register office wedding in South London, then give Morden Park House some serious consideration.

Went to a wedding here. The staff were amazing and the Sheridan room is gorgeous. Lots of space and beautiful decor. Also has potential for an outdoor wedding with a large seating area in front of a stunning gazebo. Highly recommend getting married here. My family had a wonderful time here

The staff and rooms were wonderful for our civil wedding. It was a hot day, and there flew little butterflies through the open window of the Sheridan room, which made it even more magical. Everything was very well organised! A big thank you to our wonderful registrars to be a part of our special day.

Fabulous ceremony with a small wedding party in the Sheridan Room. The setting is lovely for some great photos outside the house and in the gardens afterwards. The registrars were excellent and made us both feel completely at ease.

Deborah from Merton Register Office was our registrar at our wedding nearby at Morden Hall. She was truly amazing, and made the ceremony so special. She had the perfect combination of humour, gravity and emotion. She put everyone at ease and it felt like she was so invested in our day, making it feel even more special. We are so grateful!

Came here for the citizenship ceremony and it was wonderful! The reception by the staff was amazing, even the Mayor came and shook our hands and delivered a lovely speech about Merton. The staff really did make the event feel like a special occasion and they greeted everybody with warmth and friendliness. Very good choice for citizenship ceremony venue. I really enjoyed it!

Great end-to-end experience, stunning venue with nice room (Sheridan) and outstanding outdoors! Ceremony official was very nice and made us feel v comfortable. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful registry office! We got married in the Sheridan Room which was absolutely charming. Both Alex who conducted the ceremony, and the deputy registrar were both very welcoming and Alex injected a bit of humour into the service which made us both relax and enjoy our ceremony. Lovely venue for a wedding. The gazebo in the gardens is beautiful and great for photos. Attended a friend's wedding here and was impressed by how well set up and arranged it was. All the details were well thought out for timings, seat arrangements and everyone able to see and hear the bride and groom. The registrars were very professional and engaging when overseeing the event.

Attended as a guest. Relaxed venue for civil weddings in the sense the registrar did not call out to not take photos during the ceremony. The seating is on three sides surrounding the couple so all the guests get a good view. Ample parking. No access to the garden for decent photos before or after the wedding which is a big negative.

The venue is beautiful i've shot here couple of times. I've shot hundreds of civil ceremonies. As a photographer unfortunately today's photography experience has been the worst. The registrar and the assistant wouldn't let me take pictures properly. Told me to stand behind the fan. The couple's chairs were facing the other way and they stood on both sides leaving me no room to capture moments. Kept interrupting me and telling me off which I found very unprofessional. No consideration for the lovely couple who would like these moments captured. Didn't do the signing afterwards like we normally do, so we can take pictures with couple or family. Less than 10minutes and we were out. Not friendly at all or accommodating. 2 stars for the beautiful venue not the service.

It was a very beautiful occasion, top marks for the venue, staff were excellent, all in, the best possible start to their married life!! Christopher Hayman x

Great place for your wedding ceremony, beautiful interior, lots of space around building to take great photos and most important fantastic people :-)

My husband and I got married at Merton Register Office on the Bank Holiday Weekend. We chose the Gazebo for our Ceremony as we wanted an outdoor Ceremony. We had only ever seen the Gazebo set up with the chairs in pictures/brochures so didn't know what to expect for our Wedding Day however the Team at MRO completely surpassed our expectations. The chairs where laid out beautifully so all our guests where comfortably spaced during the Ceremony, the Gazebo and surrounding grounds were absolutely stunning and immaculately kept. We had around 80 guests, with two videographers and one photographer who were extremely well looked after and their needs accommodated by MRO in order to take the best possible shots of our day. I would like to say a special thank you to Kate, our Registrar who was just the most lovely person. She is everything you would want your registrar to be! She was smiley and clear throughout and she just had such a wonderful energy about her. I would recommend anyone wanting an outdoor Wedding Ceremony to look no further, the whole process was easy from start to finish and the price is incredible for what you get. It's not your typical Registry Office at all! I will forever hold this place very close to my heart. Thank you MRO x
