Flowing onto the Coal Drop-yard retail development this meticulously landscaped zone with fountain features extending into a manicured lawn and residential developments near Granary Square. ➖ Revisited 4years later ➖ Seamless integration now with this area now multi-functional as both public space and event/function zone. Still unconvincing as a destination but certainly pleasant and relaxed.

It's beside King's Cross station, a few metres away only. It's a pedestrian area. With lovely restaurants, chic stores, and a very nice atmosphere all a round. It's architecture is modern, shocking...but amazing!

Not a lot to do at the moment - due to covid-19. Still a lovely atmosphere and a great place to walk, photograph, meet friends (there really is plenty of space for distancing). This place is epitome of "cool-chilled" London. Usually bustling and bursting with activities, no doubt it will soon be back. In the meantime go visit now. Help businesses stay open and it really is a great place to be. Nice walk along the canal to #camden and up to #littlevenice and much more is a bonus‼️

Very swanky, some high tech companies here so security is very tight. It's interesting that many buildings are using rain water harvesting to help the environment.

Nice place to hang out with benches, tables, chairs, plants, patch of greenery, fountains. You can play French boules. Nice restaurants on Stable Street. There are digital exhibitions at Lightroom.

Very imaginatively re-developed area which maintains some traditional buildings with a modern feel. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants set round the Regent's Canal. We actually went there to visit the Lightroom for the David Hockney exhibition. It was absolutely brilliant.

David Hockney exhibition! Great immersive experience. I’m not one for galleries but this was spectacular! I would highly recommend going!

The coal drops yard area has been transformed from industrial wasteland to the repurposing of the original industrial buildings and warehouses to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Glad to see the area has been put to good use, as there were some iconic (if not dive) clubs in the area which put London on the club scene during the rave years.

Went to the Hockney Lightroom here. An incredible " must see" experience. Easily found on the square with a variety of eateries across all price and taste ranges

Walk in, I get taken to a table. Given a menu and then my order is never taken. Waited 15 mins and no one came. At this point am confused if its even table service? I donno. Beautiful room tho.

Nice public area near Kings Cross station with markets and modern architecture around.

With the new addition of Pétanque space and tables the space is even better now!

It's totally different architectural combination. No one building is the same. Just passing the Lewis Cubitt Square you get relaxed.

The worst Google map direction I have ever experienced. Practically no signs with directions. The addresses are just pointing to a developed space with a mixture of shops and residential flats. Allow 30 minutes to park you car (5 minutes) and 25 finding your destination. Rely on asking staff at shops and NOT the only sign in the middle of the square. Even the people working / living there struggle to get around. Google, please update this area 🙏

Pretty relaxing place to sit, spacious and a lot of benches and trees and flowers. Just looking at fountains and people walking by give you a peaceful rest. It would be brilliant when all the construction work is done.

To think when I was growing up this area was very gritty, even during the daytime and not somewhere to visit. There was nothing but gangs, rundown shops and warehouses. Now, it's full of very nice and (some expensive) restaurants, boutiques and a fabulous Samsung place where you can hang out in their cafe, play games, listen to music and try all the gadgets.

Part of the Coal Drops Yard area and now that the new theatre building is finished, I'm looking forward to this part of the development becoming even more lively!

Great to come and hang. Shop, eat or just chill by the river or one of the cafés. Great water features add the fact they incompassed the history or the area in the build adds to the character of this modern historic site

Gentrification all over Camden, the loss of authenticity and the culture. One more area that has the same glass, cement, expensive vibe as many in London, the green areas look fake. Lack of affordable meals without a hit in the wallet if you just want to enjoy the food out with a bit of sun, well I guess you have to move somewhere else. Some of the local securities seem to have a problem with atitude. I live a few meters away and every time I come down to chill here I got some sort of confrontation with them.
