First time to this theatre, and we really enjoyed Grease. Although we had front row, the incline of the stalls looks like all seats would have a great view. We'd definitely be happy to sit further back. The show, very good, nice little medley at the end and allowing pics to be taken during the medley was a nice touch. We'd happily go and watch Grease again, and also return to the theatre for other shows, well laid out and great location.

I have always enjoyed the Dominion theatre, from years ago seeing Grease, going to Hillsong church on a Sunday & last night I went to see the Prince of Egypt musical. What a fantastic show. The cast were superb. The set was simple but so effective and a stunning finale. I love this theatre so 5⭐ for me. Oh! And don't forget when you buy ice cream the spoon is in the lid 😂

Saw The Prince of Egypt in January 2022, great musical. I sat in Stall Z5, pretty small seat & far from stage but still enjoyable. You can find some photo from my Z5 seats. Your view is blocked by balcony but you still see the whole stage alright. Great location, lovely theatre.

I was here in March to see Dirty Dancing and back in August to see Grease. The shows were great. The theater was clean. The women’s bathroom is always congested at the theater especially in central London. Drinks were moderately priced, and there are bars on multiple levels to ease the wait. You have to realize that the culture of London is different than the USA so even though both of these shows are historical fiction, they do not use segregation in their casting. So in Grease for instance there are all races even though at that time period in the US this would have been unheard of. The talent and diversity that this allows makes this a really beautiful way to make these shows their own setting them apart from the image in your mind of Dirty Dancing or Grease. It was a bit disappointing that we didn’t know about a lead cast change, but Grease was a vibrant show with great energy. The ballads were show stealing. My only complaint was that it was really hot. I would have worn a very light dress had I known how stuffy it would be. After freezing in other theaters I hadn’t expected to be so warm.

The theatre is nice, very organised and easy to get around. The seats were quite comfortable and spacious. The only thing is that they should install or change the sound system. Unfortunately the whole time you could hear the underground. From my point of view it would be nice to change the format of the snacks. The whole time I could hear people eating chips, opening cans, etc... sometimes it felt like being in a lounge rather than a theatre. The staff from the entrance to the interior were so helpful and friendly. The show I saw today was "The Prince of Egypt". It was really beyond incredible. I loved every second of it, the music, the effects. the set, the design and the use of lights were fantastic. The actors and supporting dancers were incredible. I highly recommend it.

The Dominion Theatre is one of the largest and most perfectly designed theatrical venues in London. It is home to a wide auditorium where every seat has a perfect view, a wealth of hospitality suites, impressive public foyers and large bar areas. Located directly above Tottenham Court Road tube station it is easy to find and easy to get to by public transport. The Dominion is also home to Dominion Events, the Dominion Theatre's in house Events department. They hire out and organise events, meetings and corporate events and hospitality in the theatre's 9 event spaces which include the Main Auditorium, The Studio and The Boardroom. In September 2014 the Dominion Theatre completed a 4 month long, multi million pound refurbishment project to restore the theatre to her original 1929 grandeur.

Such a nice trip. I was literally on the last row at the back (Q45 for anyone interested!) but had a great view of the stage, and it still felt like an intimate venue. Loads of leg room given that I'm over 6ft, and you could see over everyone to get a clear view, even if you were shorter. All the front of house staff were friendly, quickly dealt with issues in the audience, and everything went really smoothly.

Very much enjoyed the performance, especially Moses. Great cast overall and a real fun experience. The vocals were so good. Staff were also very helpful and polite and made the experience even more great.

If you're looking for a show that will leave you breathless, the Dirty Dancing musical at Dominion Theatre in London is the perfect choice. From start to finish, this musical extravaganza had me completely entranced. The choreography in particular was simply outstanding. The dancers were all absolutely incredible, moving with such grace and fluidity that it was like watching poetry in motion. Every step was perfectly executed, every lift and spin was flawlessly timed, and the energy and passion on stage was truly electrifying. Of course, the music was also a highlight of the show. From classic hits like "Hungry Eyes" and "Do You Love Me?" to lesser-known gems like "In the Still of the Night," every song was performed with heart and soul. The live band did a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of the original soundtrack, and the singers all had voices that could bring the house down. But what really stood out to me was the chemistry between the lead actors. Their performances were so intense and believable that I found myself completely swept up in their story. The love scenes were romantic and tender, the arguments were heated and emotional, and the final dance was simply stunning. Overall, I would highly recommend the Dirty Dancing musical to anyone looking for a night of pure entertainment. It's a show that's packed with talent, energy, and heart, and it's one that's sure to leave you feeling uplifted and inspired.

Prince of Egypt is an absolutely stunning and awe inspiring show. I’m not a huge fan of the theatre but this show blew my mind. The actors, songs and stage of the entire show was absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend it enough. Even friends of mine said the same when they heard I was going.

Great theatre! Wonderful show! Comfortable seats Amazing view from row O (in line with the stage) seats 32 and 33. We saw Louise Rednapp playing the teen angel! Great ushers checked bags and scanned our tickets on entry. Didn’t have to queue for ages to use the toilets. Toilets were quiet small, if larger than a size 14 or tall you may struggle to shut the door. Will definitely visit this theatre again. Good temperature even though it was 30 degrees outside in London.

Oh My word this place is a real treasure..... Easy to book tickets on line and box office staff go over and above to help too. Beautiful big entrance doors and not loads of stairs to climb. Toilets near to seating too We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing theatre atmosphere and surroundings were really magical. Would definitely recommend a visit 👌

Saw Pink Floyd Experience, good & theatre was full, good place. But right across the road, a real rip off for cold drinks etc Basic Mart. The drinks were NOT chilled. No apologies, just saving money in refrigeration & couldn't care less attitude.. I did ring council.

I was on row xx seat 16 and the photos show my view. Theatre lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Drinks served to our seat was great. Would have been helpful to know the doors opening times beforehand though

Saw Grease the Musical in September 2023. Theatre seating was excellent, with very good views in most areas. We sat in Row W and had a great view, didn't feel too far back or removed from the action. The musical itself was very good; a little different from the movie in some parts likely due to not being able to recreate the same scenes for the stage. Very enjoyable and great theatre.

Saw Dirty Dancing which was brilliant, exactly like the film and the actors were phenomenal. The crowd was maybe the only drawback, two women near us had a literal fight- i think over a seat? unsure but everyone was singing along and it was a really cosy small theatre with a great relaxed vibe to it.

On a really hot day the air conditioning was a God send. The theatre itself is traditional & full of character. We came to see Grease The Musical & it was electrifying from start to finish. We were able to use the app to order drinks and ice-cream to our seat at the interval which avoided the queues. With Tottenham Court Road Tube station basically at the entrance to the Theatre, it was so easy to get to. Highly delighted with everything. Couldn't fault it.

Tremendously enjoyed watching Prince of Egypt last evening at the very well located Dominion Theatre in London. The ambience was great, champagne was served on our seats and the performance very entertaining musical. But when are these theatres going to provide adequate toilet facilities and comfortable seats?

We went to this theatre to see the show Grease. It was an excellent show with a beautiful theatre. The show started on time and they had drinks and ice cream for sale. All sits are great at watching the show no matter where you sit. We had a great night at the theatre.

Lovely theatre, biggest in London so many seats situated at Tottenham court road. I saw Grease with Jason Donavan and Peter Andre in, very good feel good musical on until the end of the month. Lovely decor in the theatre, really large entrance foyer.

The theatre was beautiful, one of the nicest we've visited, lovely decor, air conditioned (which was a god send in our unnatural UK heatwave), it's also right outside the tube station. The production was fabulous, we went to see "Grease" the musical and the cast dedicated the show in honour of the sad passing of Olivia Newton John!

I have been to this theatre a few times over the years. Most recently to see Grease in June and just before that Dirty Dancing in March, and pre lockdown Prince of Egypt. These are the views from my various seats. Grease: Circle, Row H, Seat 28 Dirty Dancing: Circle, Row H, Seat 9 Prince of Egypt: Circle, Row G, Seat 43. The theatre is lovely and is one of the bigger ones in the west end. In all the places I've sat, I've never felt too far away from the stage. For Grease we were sat in what is essentially the front row of that section (there is a walkway in front/below). However due to the railing that goes all the way along the front of the row, you can't get in or out without going all the way to the end of the row, right by where you come in. From the map it gives the impression that you are on the end of the row near an exit, but it isn't. Overall it's a great theatre to watch a show. It is right next to Tottenham court road station, so very easy to get to, transport wise. Just be aware there are sometimes beggars out the front that may try to approach you. The staff try to get everyone in as quickly as possible, so you should be able to get by them swiftly. I thoroughly enjoyed Prince of Egypt and Dirty Dancing. I can't say I was a fan of the new adaptation of Grease. The songs are in the wrong scenes, and it was hard to follow along. As a gigantic fan of the movie I know the story and songs so well. I get you can't remake the movie, but other adaptations like Mary Poppins and My fair lady, have been done brilliantly, even though they had to make changes for the stage. Others seemed to thoroughly enjoy it and my friends who has never seen the movie had a great time. Also note that there is no singing along. They remind people several times before the show. For me personally it was a godsend as I pay to see and hear the professionals, not the people in the audience 🙂.

What a great show! Peter Andre totally made it amazing..he was hilarious and sang really well...infact everyone sang so well. Loved all the songs from our youth...especially finding out today that the original Sandy..Olivia has passed away :( Very entertaining, we had circle seats 4 rows from front, really good view.

Amazing venue... the musical we saw (The Prince of Egypt) was phenomenal... and the staff were amazing, helping to reschedule our tickets due to a positive covid test from one of my party. Fantastic night out and a venue with a rich history to boot! Go here!

This was one of the Best Musicals I have have ever seen. And that is saying something when I have seen over 45 shows. The perfect pitch harmonies of the voices was incredible. All the actors have simply fantastic and out of this world voices, ALL of them ! And the choreography, oh my god the choreography is breathtaking and a show of its own. This is a musical that I would watch over and over and over and over again....very very very highly recommended.

Teatro de Londres, un antiguo cine del West End. Está situado en Tottenham Court Road, cerca de St Giles circus y del rascacielos Centre Point. The historic Dominion Theatre sits majestically at the junction of Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road and first opened in 1929. This landmark building, which was granted Grade II status by English Heritage in 1998, has recently completed a stunning £6 million restoration. All areas of the theatre were involved in the renovation, including the installation of a new flying system and the enlargement of the orchestra pit to facilitate large scale productions, and a full refurbishment of all five bars and ninety-five toilets front of house.  Almost 1.2 acres of bespoke carpets were laid front of house and over 400 gallons of paint used in the reconditioning of the gold detailing and plasterwork of the proscenium arch, auditorium ceiling, foyers and hospitality suites.  All of the theatre’s seats were reupholstered and additional French polished handrails added to aid accessibility inside the auditorium. The electrics and lighting fixtures also received an overhaul with the use of enough cable to stretch 4500 times the length of the Eiffel Tower. During its illustrious history, the venue has operated successfully as both a theatre and cinema, including a record-breaking 4 years and 22-week continuous run of Joshua Logan’s film of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific, starring Mitzi Gaynor. Other blockbuster films have included Cleopatra, which starred Elizabeth Taylor; The Sound of Music (which ran from March 1965 to June 1968); the Gertrude Lawrence bio-pic Star!, with Julie Andrews; David Lean’s Lawrence of Arabia and, in 1977, the UK premiere (simultaneously with the Leicester Square Theatre) of George Lucas’ Star Wars. The Dominion Theatre has played host to countless legendary stars (including Judy Garland, Shirley MacLaine, Maurice Chevalier, Sophie Tucker, Jeanette Macdonald and David Bowie) and seven Royal Variety Performances. In 1931, Charlie Chaplin made a personal appearance at the UK premiere of City Lights (the classic silent film he directed, wrote and starred in). Over the years, the theatre has also welcomed many prestigious companies, lavish stage productions and long-running shows including: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast; Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake; London Festival Ballet (now English National Ballet); Welsh National Opera and the Olivier Awards. Facilities A large extension to the rear of house facilities was built to accommodate Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 1996/7. It’s still in use today.

Well organised. Beautiful decor. The Prince of Egypt was an extravaganza! Great singing, dancing, music and interesting and ingenious set design. The prices were really good when we went on a Monday.
