Go here if you want to get scammed be ware of the workers who like to charge you for double items this has happened countless times in this store with friends and family members. I went in there for something that cost me £1.9 and they charged my card £3.30 making it seem as if I bought 3 of the items. All the workers seem to be in on stealing from the customers by over charging on the card machine and not giving you the fully amount of change. They purposefully withhold the receipt at this store from you for a reason I think is linked to the blatant thievery of the workers.

After years this store has finally gotten self checkout machines - some people are saying this is the best news since the announcement of the covid vaccine. Sadly the store is still too small - would it really hurt Tesco PLC to extend the store so we don't have to queue down a tiny Isle next to leaking freezers? The staff are lovely and it's one of the few Tesco stores where the staff still actually bag your items for you.

Went in there for a blast but before i even had the chance to go in a security guard came up to me and try to convince me to buy from his small business website! Ignored it though and fancied some pringles with some fanta to down it but as i looked on the expiry date , i asked my self are we still in 2019? Staff seem to not throw out expired items. I decided to leave to buy from asda as it was two customers were fighting over the last skittles!!! Never coming here again too much chaos within 2 minutes and i ended up getting nothing! Would advise asda

Tesco express got a new facelift! I have to say, I had somewhat agreed with the comments below but since the refurbishment this Tesco Express looks fantastic. More Tesco finest range (finally!!) a whole area for free-from, tea and coffee next to my favourite snacks - biscuits! The staff are also great, even when I went at 10pm, they smiled and were polite with the security guard even inspecting the sell by dates on fresh produce to make sure everything was fresh. At least that's a nice positive in a negative 2020!

Last week my wife went shopping there with our baby. It was Monday morning 08.11.2022 and it wasn't busy, so she tried to use one of the shelf check places. All of them were free at that moment, but surprisingly she was called by one of the sales people to be checked by her at the place she worked. My wife said to her that she is not ready, because she needed to take some other products. But the lady, who called my wife roughly started to argue with my wife. My wife asked to meet the manager, but she kept waiting till one person came without a badge and said that he is the manager. My wife insisted to meet the real manager and after 10 minutes came another man with a badge who I spoke with by telephone after meeting with my wife. He explained to me that she is not allowed to use self-check places, because she has got a lot of items and it will be keeping busy the place of the check. That's ridiculous, because at that moment no one used the shelf check places. However she brought the items to the lady, so she can check them at her workplace. The sales person again started to argue with my wife, which was that time over the limit. As a result the 5 minutes my wife should spend to check by herself expanded to over 20 minutes and she felt as if she was treated like a shoplifter, the baby had been awakened as well. That is not the first time she is followed as a criminal there and the only reason is that she is an east EU citizen by the security guard. In fact the people who she noticed that stole from that shop are Indian with few items, who checked, not paid and left the shop. However there are people as well who really look after the customers and try to do their best to be helpful, some of them are security. To all of them we are very thankful.

The only plus side is that this is a convenience store, though in my opinion, it's anything but convenient! The store is nearly always littered with cardboard boxes after their contents have been stacked onto shelves etc. There are cages full of stock left in the aisles, creating a dangerous "Health and Safety" issue not only for the Customers, but staff alike! The refrigerators are often leaking onto the floor, with cardboard placed to soak up the water! The store gets extremely busy at times, but the checkouts can be a nightmare due to the design of the queueing system. Tesco needs to carryout a proper risk assessment at various times and days of the week, otherwise it's only a matter of time before something serious or an accident takes place. Watch this space!

If I could rate zero then I would! Unfortunately minimum 1 rating has to be given. The employee standing at the entrance seems to allow her friends and family in without mask. Infact was seen making fun of the situation with other customers who never seem to wore a mask the whole time they were in the store, they entered without one. Its one thing people dont listen but another that staff dont even try knowing there is a £200 fine currently for breaking the face mask rule. It was really distatseful to see this employee making fun of covid 19 rule in front of other customers who wore mask. Among other things yes it lacks discipline and hygiene, i really avoid going there and now dont think will be going there ever again!

Nice staff but many people not wearing masks these days, I think people think it’s gone probably , idk

Worst Tesco express I’ve been to, managed so badly all the time

Lovely Staff members especially Vish he’s always friendly with a smile and happy to help customers! Keep up the good work 🙌🏼 Never had any issues P.S An upgrade to structure would be great inside but overall the self checkouts are quick and efficient enough to do the job 🤩 Thankyou!

went tonight lookibg for biscuits family size asked member of staff who didt even ask what i wanted just looked up n carried on his shelf filling service to be desired

A good place for quick grocery shopping. The store is always busy. There is no parking structure or on the site road. The queue for the till is always long. The staff is at least better than North Hyde Lane branch. The store needs to be structured and tidy. Self service machines can be installed because there is always shortage of the staff at tills.

As usual 1 cashier and 20 people waiting outside, lazy 2 cashiers on the step inside stock room skiving 1 comes out and babsits cage of fridge items cooking away si ce last nights delivary under hot air conditioning I'm going home and order waitrose or co op deliveroo. Overpriced contaminated stock cheap attitude and service

NEVER open on time. I've spent more time waiting outside than in the shop.

Long queue, but great staff and security

Forget the establishment. With their ridiculously overpriced items. Staff are ok in comparison to other tescos! But this is my local and I’ll begin going back to local small convenience stores. Give them back the power!

This Tesco is disgusting. Everytime I have to go there I always leave with the same feeling that no food nor drinks should be stored the way they do. The store is always a mess and dirty.

I do know why this Tesco is open inside more then half alcohol is missing , is this not good for Tesco reputation , popularity other shop have better staff then this Tesco
