ROYAL FUNGUS ON MITHAI!! We bought 6 boxes of pre-packed Royal Mithai from the Slough Tesco branch to give out to our family for Diwali however when opening the boxes, they were COVERED IN FUNGUS!! (SEE THE PHOTOS BELOW). We were told by the staff that the mithai given was fresh and we opened the boxes the NEXT DAY to discover this was not the case! We then called Royal head office to complain about this as you can imagine how embarrassing the situation was, we got NO APOLOGY and NO REIMBURSMENT or offer to SWAP the boxes - the man on the phone was NOT bothered and was VERY RUDE and gave us no solution and basically told us to get over it. WE ARE EXTREMELY APPALLED BY THE SERVICE RECEIVED AND WILL BE GOING ELSEWHERE IN THE FUTURE AND TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT THIS!!! TRULY DISGUSTING!! MR WADHER & FAMILY

Male staff very rude No hygiene touched barfi with hand Wearing a hair net? What’s the point ? The hair should be completely covered by the net but he thinks it is a fashion item! Good selection of sweets shame about the service, hygiene and over priced.

Great amazing quality sweets, only two things staff member was rude on my visit one just putting it down to him having a bad day. Broken slabs of chocolate not impressed appearance is everything. I hope I can audit this again see if it improves.

Male staff not polite. The sweets are not always fresh as opposed to two other shops near by where we buy more often. Only good thing about them is Rasmalai which I can tell is delicious and better than others. While there is a good variety, it doesn't cover a lot of others. When I went to the shop, I asked the staff beforehand if the sweets were fresh and when did they come. He said yesterday. I can tell you that the sweets were not fresh and the taste of average. Won't be going back. I regret I went there as the other shops (in particular Nirala) were at some distance but now I think it would have been worth it!

Sweets are delicious and packaging quality is excellent. I had placed bulk order for a function and manager George was so helpful to identify the correct sweets for me out of wide variety of sweets with them. Highly recommend this place for all the sweet lovers!

Staff having Poor hygiene noted on several visits, bad habits die hard. Bought Ras millae last week with 17th October expiry date. It's been well kept in refrigerator. Last night wanted to eat & noticed it had fermented. I have a photo that I'ld like to attach. Needless to say same happens to gajarhalwa. Journey to the shop & parking a hassle. Avoid.

Ordered from these before a few times. They used to be top quality. Unfortunately their quality and customer service is now appalling. It took far too long to arrive and when I phoned up a week later because there was no dispatch info I called over 20 times. Each time, the lady on the phone hung up or forwarded me to a voicemail, when I tried to explain my situation, did not care at all. I called other branches who all said they couldn't help and one even said that their customer service is terrible now. One of the branches I called said my order wasn't worth much and literally hung up on me. I found hair baked into some of the Barfi I ordered when it arrived and looking at other recent reviews I can see the hygiene is questionable. Left a complaint but it'll probs end up where the sweets did - in the bin. Lost a customer and won't recommend Royal Sweets.

Gurdeep (from the Southall branch) was absolutely sweet and amazing. I rang and placed an order for 5 cartons of rasmalai the evening before I was to depart for Singapore. She prepared them in advance and waited for me to arrive before closing the shop. The service was so good that I ended up carrying back 6 cartons of rasmalai to Singapore, instead of 5.

Not good anymore. The sweets are mouldy and taste like they have been made a month in advance. They taste absolutely horrendous. This was once a good place but not now.

Recently visited this shop, I was served by lovely Irina, she showed me all the sweets and also recommended some based on my taste. I tried their chocolate Peda for the 1st time, yummy πŸ˜‹ with nuts. I love their ladoos too πŸ˜‹. Sadly, I can't post any photos because I have already finished all the sweets 🀣🀣
