Great climbing gym with lots of space, the routes are often refreshed and it's just great fun!

I love you guys at LCC. I have completely changed my attitude to exercise because of bouldering. The staff are always kind and helpful, especially the two guys with the Linus merch.

A well set up and run bouldering hall. The facility is relatively big with a wide selection of routes and levels to pick from. There is a small gym that you can exercise in and there are several walls to pick from. The prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly.

Went for my first ever climb here and it was amazing! Booked an induction which I'd recommend to any other newbies - it covers warmups, climbing basics, terminology and then gets you climbing like it's nothing. Really loved the experience and will be going back to scratch this new itch.

First time bouldering and it was one for the books. I visited as a Sky VIP guest, and had a guided climb 🧗🏾‍♀️ The joining instructions were a little scary, but VERY clear. When you arrive, you then have to run through the terms and conditions to ensure you properly understood it all. the staff on site are super friendly and informative, telling you everything you need to know beforehand. You’re then given the gear and ushered up to the top floor to put away your possessions in the lockers. Before the session, there’s a guided warm up, and then you ease into it all with a quick techniques walk through. Then it’s climbing time! So much fun

Such a great place! I booked an intro session here as it's been a few years since last bouldering. The staff and in particular the instructor (sorry, I forgot her name!) was super friendly, knowledgeable and really knew how to tutor a few new starters. She instantly put us all at ease with something that I was a little nervous and slightly intimidated of. She made us feel safe, and had the right level of encouragement to push ourselves. The venue is fab, clean, well laid out and kitted out to have an enjoyable day. I loved it and will be back, even though I'm aching the day after!

I've done indoor rock climbing before. But Bouldering is on a different level and it's much harder. To complete these courses you not only need to be "physically tough", you must also be "mentally tough" as well. If your looking for a good workout, this place will do it and I kid you not, you will end up tired and so will your hands. Take your time in doing these courses because they are challenging.

Chill and welcoming vibe. As a first time climber I found the experience very beginner friendly and really enjoyed my time there. The changing rooms and toilets are gender neutral which is a definite plus. The staff seemed nice and helpful but also gave me enough space so that I didn't feel too self-conscious while climbing, which was good. If you can go on Monday morning/daytimes before 4pm it's pretty cheap (£5) as it's their designated super off-peak time.

Interesting routes and a fun, inclusive atmosphere. Monday night women's social has made me a much better climber and some friends for life. I've now moved further away but still make the effort to get to CroyWall every week as it's cleaner, friendlier and (in my opinion) has better routes than other walls more local to me in central London.

Private training session with David who was really good; friendly and knowledgeable. There are high ceilings giving a feeling of openness. It also does not smell, looks new and fresh. Clean toilets. A little coffee shop too. No parking though but can park round the corner for 3 hours max.

The staff were very helpful, especially as I've only been climbing once before. It's also very easy to get to, being right outside Wandle Park Tram Stop

My son and I enjoyed a free taster session curtisy of sky vip, we were there for about an hour and throughly enjoyed ourselves learning how to climb and safely descend. Our instructor was very encouraging with our endeavours and we felt very safe whist on the climbing walls. I would highly recommend this even if you have never done it before like us, at the end of the session we left with the feeling we had achieved something and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic friendly bouldering centre. Great range of climbs. Really warm welcome and and clear instruction from Chris. Excellent facilities; changing rooms, lockers and small gym/warm up area. Can’t wait to come back.

Great Wall and great atmosphere, never too busy and overwhelming. Enough space to focus and get on with your own climb. Team are welcoming and supportive if required.

This is a brand new climbing centre in a really good location in Croydon. The climbing centre is spacious and has a variety of climbs for a variety abilities! The cave is awesome but hard work, there’s a variety of different inclined walls for all abilities and a several training boards upstairs. There’s also a training area upstairs. The staff at Croywall are consistent with the staff across the Kendall wall business, so happy, friendly and helpful. Great if you’re new and need help or advice. The centre is really close to two tram stops and also over the road from Sainsbury’s and Ikea. The only problem to be aware of is the parking, it’s all restricted parking near by, with one pay and display car park nearby. The retail estates allegedly give you a ticket if you’re not a customer. If you risk it, the parking is 3 hours for free to retail estate customers.

Croywall was a new, fun & challenging experience for me. I've always enjoyed climbing walls on an amateur level. The centre gave me the opportunity to stretch myself to the max! We spent about 3 hours here - it's quite handy because there's free parking in the Sainsbury's car park around the corner. I would have stayed longer if I didn't have to move my car. The adrenaline rush of reaching the top with no harness is something else. I also came to the unfortunate realisation that I have very poor upper body strength!! The more challenging inverted walls were basically impossible for me, but I was probably punching above my skill level. Anyhoo... time to get to the gym!

Nice wall, friendly and helpful staff and generally fun to climb. Unless you’re a super advanced climber you will be well catered for. I started to go here as it’s local to me and I needed somewhere to train for an upcoming ice climbing trip. There is a small coffee area, but I haven’t tried out as I just go purely to climb. Showers, clean toilets, changing cubicles and lockers are available. Can’t really fault the amenities at all and it doesn’t have that weird old climbing shoe smell that some places have. Staff were helpful when I wanted to grab a new pair of shoes, chalk etc. Climbing area is fairly warm even when it was freezing outside. The new gym area and equipment are good and are climbing training focussed with a few cardio machines. Some of the reviews create lack of parking and that you have to use the (free) car park a minutes walk away. I see that as a bonus, and although it’s Croydon I feel perfectly safe leaving a supercar there. Near a large Sainsbury’s, very convenient if you need pick up a few bits on the way home. Just off the Purley Way so a huge range of shops within walking distance, so you can fit a quick climb in whilst doing other jobs.

My local climbing gym for the past 1.5 years! Really enjoy climbing here with the variety of different routes that are refreshed regularly and friendly staff + community. Very accessible as well with parking spaces nearby or using the trams.

It is a really nice bouldering gym to go to. Is not massive as some other gyms but there is a good variety of routes and difficulties, at least for my level. I'd absolutely recommend this gym, the atmosphere is great and you can make friends pretty easily.

Fantastic gym located near East Croydon, the gym has a great range of climbs for all levels, the staff have been fantastic, especially Davide, who helped me extensively with my first shoe fitting, he provided great insight in helping me find the right product.

Small, but still plenty of good quality routes to do, friendly climbers and lovely staff, I drive and park in the local shopping centre car parks, beware though you have to move your car after 3 hours.

Small yet mighty. A great gym for every ability. It's a little out of the way but there is bike parking inside and it's usually never very busy like some of their other gyms.

  • 5/5 Cheila P. 2 years ago on Google
This gym is so awesome. The routes get changed up quite frequently so we don’t get bored! It’s fantastic to have routes for all grades so you can progress and the community is also great. Super cool the fact that there is a gym space so we can warm up or just workout. Plus the Socials are really cool if you are climbing alone and want to start meeting other people at the gym or want company

Great place for a bit of bouldering! Staff are awesome and the routes and angles on offer are good too.... Bonus: no time slots like at the busier walls!

Love climbing here. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the walls change giving a new and interesting experience

Had a beginner session today and it was great fun. The instructor was friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. I'm not necessarily built for climbing and lockdown with no gym has not helped with that so it was great to feel welcome. Will definitely be going again to re-ignite my fitness routine (as soon as the blisters on my hands are healed...)

Had a great instructed taster session through Sky VIP yesterday. Alec was patient, thorough and encouraging of mt friend and I who were both total beginners. We had such a great afternoon we are now thinking about going back!

We went down to Croywall yesterday for a free taster session. Lou was on hand to make the whole experience fantastic. It was a lot of fun and harder than it looks and my girls had a great time. Nice, clean premises and professional and friendly staff, well done team.

Friendly staff and enjoyed the routes! Nice challenges and focus on balance and stamina rather than just straight up and down routes. Not too busy and excellent facilities. Can't wait for my next climb!
