Regarding the Jazz nights woth live music and dances... I had a blast of a night! The hosts were very helpful and friendly, if you're going for the classes, and the night after with a live band and experienced dancers having their best time, it was almost like taken from the 20s! Would totally recommend everyone to have at least one crack at it! Thanks guys!

We held our wedding reception at the Mildmay, after getting married at the Newington Green Meeting House (nearly) next door, and it was one of THE great evenings. I suppose, as the bride, I would say that - but our guests thought so too! The club doesn't have the facilities of a cookie-cutter wedding venue (for instance there is no proper kitchen) but the experience is all the better for it - this is a historic, authentic place, with great character, and we wanted to work with it on its terms. With a brilliant caterer, and the very helpful people at the Mildmay, we still managed to serve a sumptuous three course dinner to 170 guests, who then danced the night away to three bands. Completely magical. Everyone fell in love with the club, and I couldn't recommend it more.

Santa comes to the Mildmay Club for a community event, also the members support the Poppy Appeal. Various shows, filming and social events held for members and guests.

As a seasoned old school swing dancer, since the easing of lockdown I've become a regular at the Mildmay's Tuesday jazz nights. It's an excellent dance venue with a first class sprung wood dancefloor, good vibes, decent bar facilities and helpful staff. In all, a great night out.

Excellent night out. Worth every penny. Great atmosphere and very welcoming crowd. Jazz music was wonderful and such beautiful swing dancing, truly loved the evening.

Historic, large club building, several halls and rooms. Steepish stairs with access aids. Good bars and seating, varied weekly entertainments and meetings. Stokey Lit Festival main venue, very popular. Deserves more support.

Lots of rooms to let. Internal decor is looking a bit sad, could do with an upgrade. No lift.

So pleased that this venue has been saved by locals and are breathing life back into it. Early days, so still bit rough round the edges. But a fantastic venue. With a very lovely sprung wooden dance floor.

Nice ballroom but the place is old and needs some renovation works.

The mild may club was good, the lights abd uilding itself was beautiful, a old building that has lasted. The band was very good, it was do with Windrush.

I was there on Saturday night in the small hall they had live music every body up dancing having a good time they also had a Raffle and bingo I got second prize in raffle £20

I'm a proud member of the Mildmay club. Places like this are rare. Nostalgic, welcoming, historical, relevant, fun and fairly priced. British history at its best. I'm hoping to hold an event here soon and to be a member for many more years. Get yourself down there.

Fantastic club and great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Snooker Hall is well maintained and has nine tables. Best pint of Guinness outside of Ireland.

Fantastic place to have fun and enjoy yourself with great company

This is a great venue. It's very big and has a huge amount of space upstairs and downstairs. It has a few bars and a kitchen. It also has a number of toilet facilities. Great place to use for a wide variety of events! The staff are really nice and friendly

Friendly staff and respects the needs of disabled people by having a stair lift installed.

We filmed in this venue so many times I've lost count there's so much history here And its a great place to film here they have so many things going on during the week it's worth checking it out

Attended a party at the Mildmay club. They have several halls for hire with a bar in each of them. They have lots of live events and a monthly craft market. Membership allows you to participate in activities including darts and snooker along with other member discounts.

Just became a member great place a bit of the past that's unchanged great snooker hall too

Superb evenings had by most that attend

Ran by a committee who care more of themselves than they do their members.
