Michael broke down the repairs my car needed into plain English and even gave me tips to keep my ride in tip-top shape. The repair work was done quickly, and now my car runs smoother than ever. Michael was highly recommended to me when my Volkswagen Golf had a gearbox issue. He was incredibly professional, sent me videos and photos of the whole diagnostic process, found the issue quickly (it was a much smaller problem than I’d feared!) and got it all fixed within a few days for what I think was a great, fair and transparent price. I would highly recommend this garage. Michael was extremely professional, knowledgeable about hybrid cars, very helpful and authentic. It is hard to find a good honest mechanic who doesn't rip you off with extortionate prices or dismiss your concerns about your car because you are a woman! Took my GTI in to Michael last week from which I hoped was a small repair was needed coming from an engine rattle… turns out the car needed major repairs. From the moment I was told the diagnosis I knew I could trust the knowledge and experience from Michael and proceeded to go ahead having just bought the car privately. The car required many hours of labour and I could tell he worked extremely hard to get the car right again. He went above and beyond and i’m very grateful for the effort that went in. Videos were sent during the process to help you understand the mechanics, I could tell he is the sort of mechanic you can put your trust in. Highly recommended for any car repairs (especially VW), you will leave the garage in high confidence that your car is properly fixed with high quality parts, great service and not a ridiculous bill at the end.

I have been coming to Michael from Promod Works for years now because he is the only person that I found who has such a personal approach to his customers and is not trying to rip you off! He genuinely enjoys his work and has got an extremely good understanding of hybrid and electric cars and always finds the best solution for me, that I wouldn't really get in any other garage. Michael is in excellent mechanic not only has he done my cambelt. He has also done my cv joint. He's prices are excellent and he always makes a fair deal and explains what he has done with proof. Took our old Lexus SUV (hybrid) for a full service and Mike was brilliant. Sent through videos of the different parts of the car he was working on, proof of the work he was doing and gave great advice on further work that might need to be done. Found this place by luck of breaking down near by. Michael is a brilliant mechanic. He is now the only guy I will ever let near my van. I've seen him a few times now and he has always fixed the problems quickly and very reasonably priced. Last fix for example I saw Michael at midday he ordered and changed 2 shock absorbers 2 front wheel arms and a reverse senser. He called at 15.00hrs all completed and drives amazingly. Every time he's touched my van I drive away feeling safe and secure.

Fast, efficient, quality, cost effective. I have used Promod Works many times, lost the count now. There isn't a part of my aging and over a 190,000 miles beemer that they haven't worked on - from erratic automatic gear box or blown out turbo to break pads/disks and annual services. Michael is very knowledgeable, there isn't anything he can't diagonse and then fix. Together with his partner Boris they are very effective and deliver a quality service. It costs me only a fraction of what I used to pay the dealer service or other mainstream services. I highly recommend Promod Works.

Very high quality and cost-effective professional work done on our Audi by Promod works Ltd. I am extremely pleased with the quality and speedy repair work carried out by Mike. He also provided video evidence of the work, which is very professional. Car was also washed and cleaned after the repair, which is brilliant 👍.

Been here twice now and I must say these two have a faultless work ethic! These guys are always 100% clear with what they're doing and make sure they finish the job no matter what! They will send you pictures of their work as they go along and keep you informed. Had them do my cambelt and water pump last month, and today they replaced the clutch and shaft seal. They said they had to take the driveshafts out to do this work, but driving home I was pleasantly surprised with how much more precise the steering felt! I get the feeling the last garage I went to for suspension work (which messed me about) didn't fit something correctly, and Promod Works corrected that when re-assembling. These guys are almost an hour from where I live but from here on now they will be my go-to garage for any mechanical work on my car!

This is the second time I have used Promod Works (different vehicle last time). I had the car booked in for a cambelt and water pump change + a front wheel bearing. Michael provided a fair quotation and knowing his attention to detail I was happy to proceed. I had a call from Mike early afternoon to say cambelt change has gone well and he WhatsApp photos of the old parts! However he was struggling to find the faulty wheelbearing during his road test (post cambelt). Having brought the car back and double checked both front wheels again, Mike gave the car a clean bill of health and said that the noise was actually down to some cheaper brand front tyres my son had fitted! So Mike missed out on the extra work and had the hassle of sending the parts back, but that is why I will continue to support him.

10000% recommend using Promod! They got me booked in as quickly as possible and sorted my brake pads which needed doing and was not over sold and only got the work done which actually needed doing unlike the quote I got from my main dealership. Really happy I went with Promod and they also fixed a leak problem which similarly I was over quoted on and told it was not possible to fix by main dealership. So pleased with the outcome and will be going to Promod for any future car issues / improvements. Thank you to the team!!

I HIGHLY recommend taking your car here for any exhaust fittings, Michael was really helpful with a lot of experience and skill to fit my exhaust down pipe, I can’t recommend ProMods Works enough, as well as his colleague doing an excellent job. This is a company that shows they care for their customers, as well as providing a friendly service and a really good price for the fitting.

Michael did an excellent job replacing my cambelt and water filter. He went above and beyond, doing a full diagnostic test on the car, sending me photos and videos of it, and cleaning the engine and the exterior. Highly recommended.
