We had an amazing day at Northala Fields today thanks to the amazing staff of Get Hooked on Fishing. They saw we were struggling to catch anything so gave us some hugely appreciated tips and tools, which meant we caught more than half a dozen fish thereafter! They went way beyond the call of duty and we are thinking of becoming annual members as a result.

Excellent place to go fishing. I took the kids and this place is great with the small ponds well stocked so it's easy for them to catch fish. Stops them getting bored. Nice way to Introduce children and people who have Not fished before. Also there is carp for the more experienced anglers. I didn't have any luck with trying to catch them. The staff who work their are very helpful and you can ask for help.

The two gentlemen carl and Ray made us feel very welcome, for myself not being a fisher and the 2 kids wanting to be, we couldn't of asked for better help and advice. Very professionally run and well stocked. Caught upwards of 15 fish ranging in size. What a day kids loved it and I loved the excitement when they caught. An we can do it all again next weekend. Thank you to Carl and Ray and a big thank you to the owner Sarah without her advice we would of never come

The place to go if you have young child who is excited about fishing. The staff (we met Carl and Ray) are very informed professional and friendly. I myself enjoyed the experience very much where the children enjoyed the time on the rod. We caught around 11 fishes some of them were of decent size 10 inches. The booking was done online and Sarah the CEO is very responsive. Highly recommended.

Great venue for fishing, it's well stocked with varied sizes of fish, pulled out a 6 pound bream in my second visit, the staff are amazing at the venue especially for fishing, very friendly and knowledgeable and more then happy to make sure you have a really good experience. I'm a lake fisherman and can honestly say I loved it here that much I paid for a years membership, for me luncheon meat seems to be the key with bites all day. Recently stocked each lake with carp of various sizes and helped a gentleman take photos of his recent 10 pound carp capture. It is located in a public park with a volume of people walking around but there are swims to tuck away. Main bulk of the noise is generally from the childrens park but this is to be expected. For something local with a challenge to capture that big carp I can honestly say it's the perfect location for good easy fishing well done to all the staff.

Visited the hills with my wife and 5 year old granddaughter and after she had played on the adventure playground we went to do a bit of fishing. I went to the office to find out about the lakes and was greeted by Carl. He explained everything about the lakes and was so informative and enthusiastic. He told me to choose a spot an that he would be around soon. I started fishing with Milli and we lost 2 fish almost straight away. Carl then came around and collected our money and sat chatting with us and watched us lose more small roach. He then said I’ll be back in a minute and returned with a small fishing whip for Milli to fish with and within 10 minutes we had caught 10 fish.We had a great time in the short time we fished and Milli was over the moon and is now hooked on fishing thanks to Carl. Can I just say that Carl goes way beyond the call of duty and nothing is to much for this man who is very passionate about what he does and he does it with a smile on his face. I will be returning next week with my grandson for another great session. Thank you Carl you are a top bloke who deserves recognition for the great job you do Many thanks Mark

Brilliant place with really helpful staff teaching kids the fun if fishing. Beautiful, well kept lakes and surrounding areas.

Wonderful people. Lots of small fish (roach, perch), beautiful mirror carps. One thing i didnt like is people roam around you with loud music.

Few small ponds with small fishes. Nice for kind to learn angling.

Amazing experience! A first time for majority of us. We caught a lot of fish, more than we bargained for. The staff were honestly wonderful, couldn’t find a better bunch. Thanks Carl and the gang!

I have spent many hours just chilling out ..friendly atmosphere...Great for the kids ...if you want to take the kids fishing I believe they have events all the time .you just show up and they provide everything for you ..definitely worth checking out the Web site...

Such a great place and staff , the fishing was brilliant and to get kids to be in the fresh air rather than on some play station. All involved are so passionate about what they do and want to pass on there knowledge. There is a wonderful play area and also a cafe . Toilet facilities are also available.

First time here and it didn’t disappoint! Had a very warm welcome from Carl, who was exceptional with information about the lakes, the fish, and making you feel very welcome (the best welcome I’ve received ever from a fishery ever!) Me and my friend caught plenty of fish and had a cracking day here. Plenty of lakes to chose from so you’ve got a very high chance of catching. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re a beginner, and want to get into fishing; and with Carl’s help, he’ll certainly get you fish! We will be comping back very soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Place is maintained well but still needs some work to be done. When it comes to fishing its great as there is plenty fishes although not the best size. Also don't be surprised that after you’ve paid for the ‘relaxing fishing time’ you will be distracted from the other visitors who don't care at all about your fishing time in peace :) overall its a nice family spot...
