My partner was very disappointed with this clinic. The doctor cut the allocated appointment time in half, and had no patience to explain any complicated terminology to her, asking her to look it all up online for herself. My partner was then charged 800 pounds.

My experience with Dr Tezcan was average. After 2 consultations I was left overwhelmed, confused and unclear about my results. She was not clear about my situation or at least that’s how she came across. I was also charged twice for a scan and if it wasn’t for me checking the invoice, I would have never known.

Stay away from this practice. Concerted effort and systematic pattern of significantly overcharging patients as mentioned in many other reviews. Prices keep increasing every time you ask for a quote. We have received 3 different quotes for their maternity package in the span of the pregnancy and ended up paying twice the original quote without any changes to the scope of services. We were lucky enough to have it all covered by our insurance but anyone looking to self-pay or with a less forgiving insurance company should stay miles away from this place. Response to WHD: This response is appalling - a series of incorrect statements, the majority of which are not even worth responding to. Insinuating insurance fraud because we asked you to correct an invoice that was 50% too high is laughable. Even more so after your Finance Department apologised for the mistake in writing earlier today and agreed to correct the invoice. The extent to which you are trying to bend the facts is shocking. I encourage everyone to read other reviews to form their own opinion before making an appointment.

Amazing place and an amazing doctor! After 2.5 years of trying for a baby including a number of failed fertility treatments on the NHS I went to see Dr Berrin Tezcan for a fertility health check to get a second opinion on what was the problem whilst I waited for my IVF to start. Dr Tezcan made me feel at ease from the very first appointment. She gave me an alternative option to try, it was all clearly explained to me and prices all disclosed. I gave it a go and we are now pregnant!!!. I wouldn't be here without Dr Berrin Tezcan and I am so grateful to her for getting us to this position today. I feel so safe and comfortable with her advice, She is brilliant and has helped get us somewhere that I was starting to loss hope we would ever get to. I can't thank her enough.

Finance department is incompetent. Stay away from this clinic if you're going through private insurance. Response to your reply: Your reply is a blatant lie. Yes the code expired without my knowledge, and your department failed to pick this up for 3 months. I have provided a new code, then reactivated the old one, and you still haven't managed to sort this invoice out on your own. I've contacted my private health provider multiple times, and communicated to the best of my ability. I have been your patient for 7 years, and never had this problem before. You clearly don't care about your patients, which seems to be reflected in other comments. Rest assured I will settle the payment if you can't manage to sort this simple issue out on your own. I am appalled with your lack of care.

I am very thankful to have met such a warm and professional Doctor. Before going to my appointment for a fertility assessment I was very anxious about the tests and the possibly findings. However, Dr Naomi really too the time to understand my concerns. Her empathic and kind manner put me at ease straight away. She is so knowledgable, professional, warm and explained the process to me and answered any questions that I had. To take time out of her busy schedule to call me and explain the results was really appreciated. I will definitely be coming back to Women’s Heath Dulwich for anything pregnancy related in the future to see Dr. Naomi and I would highly recommend the clinic to anyone who is looking for advice and support with fertility who are wanting a Doctor like Naomi who takes the time to understand and support you. I had my baby under the supervision of Dr Tezcan. I felt in safe, kind and experienced hands from my first scan to our baby's delivery several months later. The level of care and professionalism from Dr Tezcan and her team has been exceptional - I highly recommend Women's Health Dulwich.

Dr Berrin Tezcan and the team were amazing. There were no issues at all. Dr Tezcan took the time to explain everything to me regarding my transvaginal ultrasound. Something that I would have NOT gotten in much detail if I had done it via the NHS. She was very gentle with her examinations like the ultrasound and speculum. She is very nice and professional. I also got a copy of my ultrasound given to me by reception when I requested it. They were very nice. I initially spoke to Demi when I was trying to book my initial appointment but my phone signal was very bad and she did try me again. She also left a voice mail and sent a message. This shows reception are doing their job and care about potential patients before they become and actual patient and once they are. Chanelle was really nice and Iwona. They answered my questions very nice, professionally and in a calm manner. They double checked things with me as I wanted to make sure I wasn't confused about anything. I was very happy with her kind care. My blood test came back very quickly and I am content with the result. Simone, the manager was very pleasant. She seemed to really care about the health centre and the receptionists. This to me signals a healthy working environment between reception and management. The health care assistant was pleasant. The nurse Chrissy was polite and caring. She also reassured me when i felt abit nervous in terms the examinations. Sometimes I get anxious before any procedure no matter where I am in England. Overall, a great experience. Toilets were clean too. Chairs and waiting area were clean. A hot drink was available if you'd have liked one. I can't fault the centre at all. So glad I chose to pay privately and come here. This is coming from an ex NHS worker. Thank you so much everyone. I had consultation with Dr Tezcan in february 2021. I came for 12 week scan. She told me baby has heart rate and not moving. She scanned 45min tummy and internal, made me do movements. I was sceptical about internal scan but felt I had no choice. After all this, she said go and eat something and come back. Considering she is a consultant, she made me panic and my blood pressure raised during all this. I went out the clinic and did google search and on the forums a lot of people said if baby not moving, have something sweet. I calmed myself down. Then, I had food and drink and Dr Tezcan scanned me again and baby was moving no problem. However that night I started to bleed a little which increased in coming days. I went my NHS 12 weeks scan at Chelsea hospital and they said baby looks oke but you have a hematoma in your womb. I said what can cause this? Elevated blood pressure may cause it. I am sure this is because Dr Tezcan did not handle the situation properly. I am genuine upset with Dr Tezcan as an experienced consultant, she could of say go and have something sweet, these things can happen and come back rather that scanning me internally 45min and making me move up and down in the table so she doesn’t have to see me again. I was at bedrest week 12-30. My hematoma bursted and damaged my placenta (apparently acts as a sandpaper cut) and had my baby at week 30 after a massive bleed. Baby stayed 107days at Chelsea neaonatal unit. Myself and my family had very difficult time. I honestly do feel, I wish I did not go and see her. 1 year after born, we absolutely had no contact with world to protect the baby from germs. Luckily my baby is well otherwise I would of actually take this further. Im writing this review now because I still wonder if situation handled better then my BP did not raise, my child wouldn’t have to go through this misery.

I begged her to talk on the phone. I paid 500£ for my consultation including blood tests and ultrasound scan, the only thing I got from her is a mail saying that I should increase the dose of my medicine. I wanted to talk with her on the phone to understand why this is happening, I just received email from her assistant. Without paying this money, I could increase my dose by myself. It is a waste of money and time. - Doctor responded me directly via email not her assistant this time, right after she saw my google review. It is such a shame that these reviews can work this way. They may write anything here, but she never talks on the phone, this is their policy. Be careful that you doctor does not talk to you here after consultation. Yes, she diagnosed me last year and again she sent me an email on Sunday night, no talking. I am not a robot to be diagnosed or write a treatment on email, I am human who has questions in her mind about her situation or treatment who needs to talk. Also, I am not the only one who has the situation with this clinic. My friend is also stuck with her questions but she cannot get responses

I found the practice all by sheer luck, as I searched the web for “physio near me” and was I lucky indeed! Carla is an amazing professional. Helped my knee get better, provided me with an exercise programme, made herself available by email to ask questions if needed between sessions. The therapy room is clean, easy to find. £75 per session is not cheap but it is worth every penny. (The same company has a gynaecology clinic in West Dulwich and a physio clinic near Dulwich College. The one I am talking about is the latter)

Really lovely clinic. I have been here a few times now for various gynaecological and antenatal appointments and have always had a good experience. Dr Tezcan is friendly and kind and always provides reassurance as well as a professional service.

I made a good choice. Dr Tezcan is an amazing person, I felt secure, cared and listen at my first dating scan. I totally recommend Women s Health Dulwich centre, their service is impeccable.

Travelled quite far to this clinic. Dr Tezcan is very reasonable and has a very calming effect! Also the other staff are fantastic and the nurse with me was also super kind and helpful! Couldn't have asked for better!!

I had an appointment with Dr Tezcan and she was amazing. I was quite nervous and she put me at ease, answered all of my questions (whilst I took notes!) and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. The clinic is modern and private and the service was great. Highly recommend.

Dr Omar saw both my whole family today. He is an incredible doctor and the service he provided was outstanding. He is thorough, knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring. Dr Omar may well have saved my elderly father’s life today. He found suspected DVT (among other potentially very serious problems) and provided an urgent referral to the hospital and specialist doctors. I can’t recommend Dr Omar enough. We will continue using him going forward.

I came across this clinic on my search for a private gynaecologist to give me a complete check-over after the delivery of my twins 4 months ago. (something that is a standard procedure in every other European country but here in the UK!) The clinic itself is spotlessly clean and very modern, reception staff were very polite and helpful. I was seen by Dr Berrin Tezcan, the clinical director, herself and I must say the experience was second to none. Although being late myself, the doctor took her time asking me all the vital questions in order to establish a good background understanding of my profile, followed by a thorough scan and smear test. Dr. Tezcan was very attentive and trustworthy - I knew I was in good hands from the moment I entered. On top of that, the professional was very pleasant which made this visit even more "enjoyable". I will definitely be returning for my annual check-ups and highly recommend Dr. Tezcan to anyone seeking highly qualitative private gynaecology with a quick turn-over!

Such an amazing service. I could have not asked for more. I had been facing some difficulties since May 2021, after speaking to my GP several times I became more and more frustrated. I was not believed and asked to retake a blood test to confirm my pathology, they then postponed the right cure and postpone for another month. I received a gynaecologist appointment for the 9th of June 2022, way too far I was really worried about the risk of cervical cancer and also mentioned it to my GP but again they kept postponing. I was going nowhere, I was not helped, not taken care of and the postponing could have killed me if it was actual cancer. I decided to start looking for a private clinic that could help me. After accurate researches I finally came through to Dr Berrin Tezcan's Clinic. The service was amazing from the start, I was helped and greeted very politely and warmly by the two gorgeous receptionists, Iwona & Chanelle, the waiting room is super lovely with a self-service coffee machine, nice, warm and cosy. I had to wait a little while but I did not mind, Dr Berrin came to greet me personally and guided me to the consultation room, we then went on to the visit which was a very attentive one. I was asked about my health, the reason for my visit, and we discussed different health related matters, I was advised to try and lose weight to improve my health, I usually get upset and defensive, as I have been trying pretty hard but with PCOS it's been extremely difficult, I always feel that I am not believed when I mention that I am trying, but the way Dr Berrins touched the topic was super lovely and made me feel very comfortable immediately. We then moved on to the physical examination I had two scans internal and external and was immediately told that there was no cancer! I felt like maybe 20 years of worry had left my body in one second. I then opted to have some blood tests, general blood tests to cover everything, to which I received an outcome less than 2 days afterwards at midnight! How many NHS GP's do that? Lastly I would like to address the fees, I knew what I was paying for, it's a private clinic it's as simple as, if you want a great service you got to pay for it, I knew I was going to pay a high fee but I choose to have the service I needed to be sure I was safe and healthy, you are not forced to undergo anything you do not wish to and Dr Berrin asked if I wanted to go for the scan and the blood tests, I choose to cover everything so I don't think that the fees were unreasonable. Anyways the service and the experience was unique and very welcome, everything went well, I was given a cure immediately and there was no need for me to return. However I will definitely be using your service again, I was over the moon I could have not asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone that wishes to have an amazing service and fast answers, for someone that wants to hear more than just I can't help you if you don't lose weight first, someone that treats you like a normal person and doesn't judge you for being overweight.
