I received 2 treatments as a groupon gift for my birthday because I have shoulder pain, before attending my first appointment they had changed location to 5 Percy street, there was building materials EVERYWHERE, no where to sit and wait, I had to sit on the stairs, even though the guy I say was very friendly and knowledgeable the facilities were terrible My second visit was even worse, it was with a totally different person, he kept telling me he had a masters degree, we did another assessment which lasted 18 mins, I was meant to have an hour session. The next morning and everyday since my shoulder is in agony I can’t even lift a 1.5L bottle of water to drink it, this was a big waste of money, please avoid spending your money here, you will end up feeling worse

I have just visited this pseudo clinic and I was appalled by the service. The therapist started 5 mins late and finished 5 mins early. For your information I am healthy with no particular issue on back and all I wanted and asked for was a deep massage that they advertise on their services. I was given a 15 minute fake medical consultation which constituted my massage lasting 30 minutes only. There were no towels and no covering for the massage couch which was so old and badly ripped. An utter rip off! I laid on paper which tore, I am sure at some point I was laying directly on the plastic torn couch. They masquerade as medical but they are anything but medical. The worst massage service ever! I came on a voucher which they took before the booking. They are charlatans. Caveat emptor. Buyer beware.

Absolute scam. Attended for a 30minute session but it's actually 5 or 10 at the max where they attend to the specific problem. This happened at each of the 3 sessions I bought. I also received an email from them offering a 1 hour deep tissue massage, the therapist essentially just rubbed oil into one area on my back with no skill whatsoever for 20mins straight.

Have been going to this the last few years (before Covid as well) and always had a different practitioner. Received a promo offer and booked treatment for a Mon evening. Worst massage i have had in this clinic and anywhere else (i have had hundreds of massages with different therapists). Common to have some discomfort during and after the session but i have never had pain and bruising like this post session. Tues - i had localised bruising on the shoulder blades and red marks on my spine Weds - i could not sleep or put pressure on my back as i had pain spots all day. Deeper red on my spine Thurs - pain gone but bruises on shoulder going black blue Next Monday - bruising had gone. The therapist said he dont tend to do a full hour treatment as he usually do clinical - so i guess that shows. Not naming and shaming but will not be going back to this clinic again.

I came to the clinic in need of some help with some neck and back trouble I’d had for a while that wouldn’t go away. My clinician, Adam was extremely patient and supportive when listening to my issues and after careful review he recommended a treatment plan that catered to my specific needs and capability. The plan was easy to understand and had the ability to be altered according to my specific symptoms. The clinic and my clinician himself were absolutely fantastic and helped me to lessen my symptoms and know how to treat and manage them should they occur again. I’d definitely recommend Holistic Healthcare Clinics and Adam in general to anyone looking for guidance and treatment with persistent aches or pains.

One of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. I went for a deep tissue massage with the intention of just releasing my shoulders, lower back and calves and as if by magic the slight knee pain I’d been experiencing for weeks has somehow vanished - thank you Mitchel!! The clinic is nice, small, practical and clean, the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. I’d really recommend it to anyone.

I booked a 60 minute massage using the Timeout london offer and had a lovely Australian lady called Kiah who I highly recommend. She was very professional, adjusted the pressure to what I wanted (light pressure) and managed to ease a lot of knots in my shoulder. Honestly it was probably one of the best massages I've had. Thank you so much Kiah! 😊 Important things to note so you're not disappointed 😱: If you book a 60 minute massage it means the total length of the session (not the massage) will be 60 minutes. The session begins by going through your medical history and asking what you hope to gain from the session so if it takes longer to go through your history it means there is less time for the massage. Things that could be improved to make the experience even lovelier 🙈: No.1 They have very upbeat music in the waiting room that would be excellent for a gym workout but isn't ideal for a massage and can be heard in the treatment room. So playing relaxing music in the treatment and waiting room would make the experience nicer! No.2 It would be really nice if they had a towel or blanket that could be laid over you while you're having a massage because otherwise it can get a little cold. No.3 It would be really nice if they had a water fountain in the waiting room because you can feel quite dehydrated after a massage.

I have been to Holistic multiple times for my treatment across 2 years and both the times I was not disappointed by the quality of service provided. However, this time round my physiotherapist’s approach has been the most effective as compared to anything I have tried in the last few years. Hazel has been phenomenal in providing treatment, clearly explaining the condition, changes I need to make to my routine, along with trying a combination of approaches that would help me. I would highly recommend Hazel if you are visiting Holistic for treatment.

I never leave bad reviews but this time I felt compelled to save others from this place. I bought a voucher on time out London and booked a massage for my birthday. Got a call 1 day before that it was cancelled, because the therapist was ill, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt as it sounded like a reasonable excuse. I rescheduled for 1 week later, and then I get a call at 8am on a Sunday (that woke me up) that my massage for that day is cancelled AGAIN “due to unforeseen circumstances”. This is clearly a scam or just beyond unprofessional customer service. Read the other reviews from people who actually made it to the clinic, and left in pain, which means these clearly aren’t licensed massage therapists. Genuinely concerned this is a fake operation to take peoples money. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!!

You get what you pay for. Overall an uncomfortable experience I don’t plan on repeating. My masseuse was 10+ mins late, he kept making small talk & annoyingly humming whenever there was silence throughout the massage, we wasted the first ten minutes asking me questions, & it ended early…..there was no ambiance- very clinical feeling and lacked professionalism

Had a great experience. Chi, the practitioner, was very warm, welcoming and did a fantastic job. They offered practical tips for me to takeaway when I asked and I learned a lot about recovery during our session. Would recommend

Had maybe two sessions at Holistic Healthcare but had some serious concerns in terms of exactly how the practice itself works. Had got a groupon voucher as a present, instead of a deep tissue massage i basically received a ploy deal to another session. Therein, again not much of any work was actually done. Some light exercises and then very minimal and ineffective pressure point exercises. Just before the end of the session you are often ropped into paying for the next, a further elaborate attempt to get money from you as appose to actually do what was originally paid for. I was informed of a 12-13 session deal, which I might have actually been interested in had the sessions been remotely beneficial. It was greatly uncomfortable to actually deal with the therapist at the end, as this was the clear motive. I attempted numerous times to suggest leaving payment until the end but so often throughout it was mentioned it was increasingly uncomfortable. I have never been put in those situations previously, by any MEDICAL professional. I would be deeply cautious about this practice. On top of this, once we finished a light pressure point exercise my scheduled 1 hour session was ultimately cut short as his continuous instance of the next session resulted in our discussing the continuation. Once i established I felt it uncomfortable to mention this over and over again, and that it might be difficult seeing this proceeding he swiftly put me out the door. I had a further 30 minutes left for my session. I was strangely glad to be rid of the whole experience, which seemed a total scam (i word I hardly use lightly) and left with exactly same issues as before.

I had a sports massage with a clinician 21, called Ollie, very knowledgeable about his physiology/anatomy, he took time to go into detail about things which could help a sports injury recovery, very calm and professional, and seemed a good judge of character in terms of not giving you the small talk if you don't want it. His massage was extremely helpful, but I honestly wasn't expecting such a high level massage, due to the clinic being so poorly advertised, even the website looks ancient and not really user friendly. Extremely pleased Ollie, thank you and hopefully see you soon.

I had Adam and he was outstanding. Always communicating with me and very friendly. I needed someone to go in and dig deep into my muscles and he didn’t disappoint. I left feeling like a different person. Top draw!

I spent nearly £300 with this group for treatment of tight/painful back muscles. I just wanted deep tissue massage. Not once, did I receive one. As some of them work on commission, it’s beneficial for them to offer more packages at the end of each session. After 5 sessions, I left with my muscles and back still in the same pain and discomfort. In the end, a £5 massage ball provided more comfort and relief than the entirety of these clinics. My suggestion would be to be direct at expressing what you and your body want and need. Don’t leave it up to them to “assess”. You’ll be £300 poorer with no result.

5 sessions with Jonata and my upper back pain has disappeared. She really knows her stuff and the sessions are to-the-point, upbeat, and you can feel the difference straight away. The tailored exercises have really helped to target and improve the weaknesses in my back. Highly recommended!

Stephen's help in getting over several sports-related injuries and back on track with my activities was priceless! A meticulous and well-researched assessment of the initial problem, together with a custom-tailored rehabilitation plan where key to success. I highly recommend Stephen as an expert physiotherapist with a great skill to keep clients motivated and thinking positively towards their treatment goal!

I had a medical massage with Larissa to help with heaviness and stiffness in my shoulders and upper back. Larissa did a fantastic job. It was a strong, deep tissue massage and I felt tons of weight lift off. My posture was immediately different, my back straighter and I felt lighter & more peaceful afterwards. It was 100% worth it and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Had a voucher, sent the codes, got a text message the night before my morning appointment telling me voucher ended a couple of weeks ago and if I turn up will be charged £99! Couldnt reply to text so sent an email. No response. I also sent an email with an enquiry a while ago to which again I didnt get a response and had to chase. Rude and poor customer service. Shame because I work next door so was hoping to make the massage a monthly thing. I would rather pay more and go to somewhere with better service. The appointment was free so you could have honored the voucher, or let me know in advance instead of the night before.

I genuinely had a great experience at Holistic Healthcare Clinics with Pat (Australian guy, clinician 10) for a sport-related injury. Originally booked a sport massage, it was followed by two additional osteopathic sessions during which he would be listening attentively to conduct the appropriate treatment. Pat is very knowledgeable on sports and body posture in general and provided effective advice, I highly recommend him. Staff has been very reactive when my second appointment was cancelled. Just for saying - as shown on pictures, it definitely looks like a clinic rather than a traditional massage place where you would get softened light and all.

I have been going to Holistic (seeing Hazel) for a few months and it has been great. Hazel is very knowledgeable. Her skills and expertise helped me with my knee and shoulder issues. I love going in for a bit of therapy and chat. I would highly recommend her services.

I had Arvesha for a series of appointments and I thought she was fantastic. She was welcoming, friendly and most importantly very good at her job. She really helped improve the tension in my back and shoulders and loosened any tightness in my neck/through for big performances (as a classical singer) thank you!!

Don't get a massage here. They don't even give you a towel, it says in the email they send but I didn't read it. Towels are the bare minimum. It's not relaxing and it's just not even worth it. I felt uncomfortable the whole time. The pressure was offas well, couldn't wait for it to be over. My friend got me a voucher as a gift wouldn't go back. They do a consultation then give you a message for less than an hour. Then tell you issues you can use their services for.

Ryan was a wonderful practitioner who helped me identify areas of neck and shoulder pain and worked through those areas, and just after a few sessions, I’ve seen a huge difference! Thank you so much for all your help. All staff are friendly based on my interactions with them so I would highly recommend!

Hazel is an exceptional physiotherapist whose expertise and care made my pregnancy journey immensely comfortable and reassuring. I was really impressed with the massage therapist, Adam! He was very pleasant, highly skilled and even showed me a few exercises for flexibility at the end of the session. He applied the perfect amount of pressure for my deep tissue massage. I’d highly recommend!

Hazel was fantastic throughout the rehab I received for my Achilles injury. Her knowledge was evident and tailored exercises to get me back up and running ahead of my ultramarathon. She was honest in her approach, having weekly calls between sessions to check in on the progress. At times where I felt I was taking steps back with the injury, her positivity kept me motivated to get to the start line, which I did. Can’t thank Hazel enough for the treatment and would highly recommend.

Really glad I booked a sports massage here. I am currently Marathon training and have a lot of tension in my body. The therapist I got, Ryan had excellent knowledge and expertise in physiology. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and communicated his advice and recommendations clearly. He was super easy to talk to and reacts accordingly to your needs ensuring that you are comfortable throughout the massage / understand what he is doing. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a skilled and professional sports massage, wanting to know more about your body. I would definitely return for another session with him.

I had one hour deep tissue massage with Adam. He was very professional and knowledgeable tackled all the issues which coursed my pain. I feel better already and this should last me a month as advised. I recommend it.

Worst deep tissue massage I've ever had! I know there's discomfort/soreness during/after a deep tissue massage but this one was painful - I've been left with pain and bruising after. I can't even sleep on my back as it's so painful. During the session I felt the masseuse didn't seem like an expert compared to other's I've seen. Another downside is they don't provide towel.

Hazel was absolutely amazing. I’d been having back pain for quite a while, my sessions with Hazel not only made me feel a lot better, but also allowed me to understand how to best move my body to activate muscles that were inactive, and to not overcompensate with other muscles. I apply the exercises and advice on how to best move my body everyday, and this has allowed me to feel a lot better. If you have a chance, would definitely recommend Hazel to solve any pain you may be experiencing.

I specifically requested Adam after reading the great reviews mentioning his name, and I wasn’t disappointed! I had a 60 minute back, legs and glute sports massage. I have had many, many massages over many many years and he’s really great and knows his stuff. Very experienced in sports injury and genuinely a nice guy too. I’ll be back!

Had a great massage from Adam the first time and re-booked the same physio for my next visit. The second time the clinic changed my appointment to a different physio, the experience was not nearly as good. The clinic may change your physio without notice so if you have a preference, you might be disappointed. Each time you attend there is a in-depth questionnaire to run through. Admin support can be sketchy, on one occasion I received a refund the same day, on other it took 5 days and lots of emails.

Had a great deep tissue massage from Rob who is also an Osteopath. He was very friendly, considerate, informative and professional. He offered advise on exercise, nutrition and posture as I am very physically active. I specifically mentioned in detail my tight shoulders and back along with my chiropractic sessions history I have had in the past to which he adjusted the massage to personalise my experience. I felt much better afterwards as he skillfully lossened my knots with just the right amount of pressure and duration that was neither light nor too painful. I have had many massage experiences from various clinics and practitioners around the world and this was one of the best. Thanks Rob!
