Don't buy any fresh veg or fruit from this shop chain if you care for your family's health. They are trouts, and will rob your money giving you rotten veg and fruits. Their staff said the jackfruit was good. So I paid £17 and brought it home carrying 5kilo from shop to miles away. After cutting the fruit I found it's black and rotten. I was shocked to see a London shop is allowed to sell off food openly in front of eyes of all authorities. But anyway I tried to contact them over phone. The staff who picked up didn't wanna say his name, only was saying he works there. So, I didn't wanna talk to any staff and asked for owner or manager to talk to me. They said no owner or manager was there, which is unbelievable. A shop is working without any management. Then I took pictures of the fruit and went back to show them, didn't bother to carry 5 kilo that far for an exchange or refund. But as soon as I asked for manager or owner ,their behaviour was so rude and forcing me to say the reason. At last someone came to talk to me still didn't wanna say who he is, owner or manager. I showed him the rotten fruits pictures. Instead of saying sorry, he immediately said: I can't offer a refund for jackfruit. ( he didn't think for a second that this customer is disappointed 😞 cause he couldn't eat his food after carrying this much load to far away, he thought I was only worried 😓 about my money, what a stupid) Me: it doesn't matter you give me a refund or not but you have no right to sell rotten food to anyone in Britain. The man: we couldn't see what was inside the fruit. Me: then why did your staff said it's good? If you can't be sure something is good, you are not allowed to sell that in Britain. He just walked away and completely ignore me. So I went to his till and said: you didn't give me a receipt for that even, else I could bring police 🚨 to sort this out right now. Staff: it was your job to take the receipt. Me: receipt don't come out of customers pocket, then how was it my job to take the receipt if you don't give it? Anyway, you are cheating your customers, you must be really poor, so keep the money as a begging. The man: you will keep giving begging that way Me: no,I don't, and for saying that I'll make sure you pay for your trouting. After a long heated discussion one of them shouted me disrespectfully: we don't need a customer like you swain, go away ,heard enough. They are not doing business here, so they don't need any customer at all. They trouting and they need pray to trap and con. This shop is not a shop, it's a goons gang and need to be shut down once and for all, so that they cannot do any business anywhere in Britain. But Tower Hamlet council has a very good relation with the owner Aklu Mia and they don't wanna hear any bad about him. All the good reviews you see here are collected by their own friends. The real customers would show you pictures of their quality and services

Personally I don't like fish but I had to get some shopping for the household. Smells of nothing but fish and ram packed with crazy shoppers who you would think that there was no tomorrow. Every kind of fish you can think of is here as well as frozen foods like samosas and paratha to kebabs and typical asian finger foods. Prices seem reasonable and offers always seem to be about. Parking is limited though and also quite a bit daunting. If you need fish...frozen that is then go to this place

Good place for fish lovers. Varieties of Bangladeshi fishes. Sometimes good offers and discounts. There r some frozen vegetables as well. Large fish aquarium on counter makes this shop attractive.

It was one of best place for buying bengali fish. After my recent visit i decided that I will no longer buy my fish from them again. Their stocks are very old and fish doesn't taste nice. Their customer service is very bad, especially meat section service very poor.

Ah yes frozen fish. Fish sold here is straight from the waters of Bangladesh or so im told. So when buying from here be sure to check the date. Otherwise has all other basics that you need for a bengali household.

Best place to get your bengali grocery meat and fish shopping in East London. Owner, Aklu Miah was there today giving some Sasi extra discount on her fish shopping. I grabbed x2 Rohu fish for £20, very good price. Fish cutter provided top customer service, always honest he carried my rohu fishes to the machine cutter area, he always has a smile in his face.

Very good fish market however there is No Fresh fish; all frozen fish. They have loads of different types of fish lines along with frozen vegetables etc. They have dedicated fish cutting employees to cut fish according to your need without any extra charge. Overall it is a good bargain fish market.

I have been shopping here for several years now. Majority if the time the fish I have bought has been of a good standard. The 2 times when I found the fish had gone bad, they allowed me to return it for a full refund. They have a big variety of fish, varying from small fish to large fish. Extra large fish can also be bought down from the upstairs fridge on request.
