If you think that people should take the a shower before jumping (often sweaty) into the pool, this is not the place for you. I have been member of UCS active for about a year and complained several times (also in writing) about this, but the rule of taking a shower before swimming is just not policed/enforced, which is quite gross. I do suggest visiting the facility in between pool shifts to see how people go in the water without taking a shower before becoming members. I'd give one star only but apart from the dirtiness of the water, the facilities are quite nice, hence the second star. What a shame!

UCS Active is such a friendly and welcoming club. The facilties are amazing and clean. The extension of the gym has created a whole new space,loving the new equipment. Would highly recommend 👌

Great pool and nice and warm inside the enclosed pool area. Staff are friendly. Teachers are amazing however swimming classes are a little expensive hence why 4 star rather than 5.

Life changing experience. Love the classes and the pool. Staff is competent and friendly, could not wish for a better local gym.

The school facilities open up for the club members during non school hours. Variety of options, including gym, fitness classes, swimming, tennis, badminton and take tennis (most at specified times, with advanced booking)

Been going here for about 4-5 years, the staff have always been friendly, the trainers are all really helpful and sociable. I've even met some members who are now good friends of mine by doing classes together and using the gym. Great place and atmosphere I spend a lot of my time in the week 💪

I joined this gym a few weeks ago and the facilities are great. However, part of the crowd doesn’t seem to be mindful of other users, reserving multiple equipment simultaneously, which is annoying. P.S. I have to say the PT Natasa Karankevic is great, always polite, happy and helpful.

Very clean and orderly place. The lessons are of excellent quality and personable. It has been a pleasure to go there this week.

I have been a member for many years and it's by far and away the best gym and swimming pool experience in North London, if not the city. The staff have all helped me out over the years, are hugely experienced, welcoming and courteous. I swim twice a week and I love the pool. I've read a few reviews commenting about the temperature and 'pool-etiquette' which I'd like to address. I've been training there for a long, long time and if you find it too cold then I'd suggest you are possibly not moving fast enough. It's a swimming pool not a jacuzzi. I've trained in swimming pools all across the UK and the temperature is perfect. Furthermore, I've not had any problems in terms of pool-etiquette, the rules are set out clearly on the wall and the lifeguards and staff are very helpful in maintaining good lane management. As with any swimming pool, if you follow the rules and act responsibly then you won't have any problems. The Paul Dillon Swimming School that operates there is fantastic with many of the staff having swam at competitive levels. The adult swim squads will certainly put you through your paces & Paul also provides training for adults regardless if you are a beginner or looking to improve your technique or speed. Whether it be from the reception staff, the cleaners, the managers, the gym-team/Personal Trainers or the swimming staff - the level of customer service I have always found to be exemplary and it has a real 'family' atmosphere. They care about their clients and it shows. I can't recommend UCS Active highly enough.

Excellent in all aspects of the word. From the moment i took my first tour I knew this was the gym for me and my young family. Gym equipment to the highest specification everything an avid gym goer could ask for. Staff are brilliant, very friendly and knowledgeable will go out of their way to help with anything. Lovely pool and kid fit sessions which my children thoroughly! Top class establishment!

UCS active is such a good gym. Great equipment and facilities. Dean and his team always make you feel so welcome. Even when busy, they do their best to book classes and court.

Everyone who works there is nice. Never seen a place like that. Also, it's very well priced compared to other gyms.

This is such a well organised day camp. The multi-activity camp is full of new and stimulating experiences like laser tag, karate classes, darts.. My children love every minute.

I have been going to this gym for over a year. Excellent facility with plenty of equipment, a positive atmosphere, and good showers and even Everything is consistently clean. The only drawback is it's not open during school hours.
