I beg to differ from some of the other reviewers on here. So poorly run it’s a joke. Taken over half an hour to forty minutes to go from the gate entrance to here. Thank god for LBC to keep me company. Lots of cars coming out but next to no one going in. Get a grip and get people moving.

I went to the Recycling Centre today with my husband expecting it to be really stressful for me, but due to a very observant, understanding man who helped me my visit turned out to be a pleasant one ,so thank you Simon your help was very much appreciated. I could also see other people being helped and guided where to put their recycling. Great team working today, thank you.

Council dump so you must show a driving licence or council tax bill to dump stuff, fair enough. They take pretty much anything and it's laid out well with all dumpster marked as to what goes in them. It's kept tidy so not much likelihood of driving over something and the guys will help if asked.

The general public are generally hopeless which delays everything. I really don't know how people spend 10-15 mins unloading their car, which holds up everyone meaning that people have to wait 15-60 mins just to get in. Update: the staff are very friendly and helpful. The guy on the gate this morning was a bit too friendly. I heard his life story. But it's better that, than a rude member of staff.

Had some restricted waste (filled in a council form weeks before) to dispose of here and visited this site for the first time but seemed a bit chaotic and disorganised from the moment I pulled up to the gates, despite me repeatedly saying I had authorisation I was held up for a few moments creating a queue behind. Managed to get in and do my thing eventually but the guys at the front barriers need to really communicate properly. Staff in the centre are helpful. Much smaller than the Jenkins Lane site which is in my opinion much easier to access.

This tip is great and I have never had any issues. The staff are always helpful !

We’ll laid out recycling centre with plenty of staff and clearly labelled areas for different materials. Only accessible to local residents and photo ID is always required.

Be prepared for bad manners no P's and qs. Not much to ask for, it costs nothing. To the management if the staff treat people better the recycling rates will improve tenfold. A group of 5 people standing around chatting instead of helping and one guy grunting.

This recycling centre is extremely popular and BUSY. I feel if staff helped people who are alone to throw items into the relevant areas that would spead up the process and reduce queues. On several occasions when I have visited staff are chatting to each other and hanging around. Other than that it is a well organised centre just needs to more efficiently run.

Most staff will help with disposal of any heavy material which is useful if you are on your own.

Massive recycling facility in Chigwell. Very well signposted. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking as well.

The employees that work there are very kind and courteous. One actually helped me take the bags. Super nice and Everything there is well organised, nicely laid out and very user friendly. Appreciated the help.
