It is the worst reception staff. Really shocking service and actually negligent (when I was pregnant they didn't tell me a sample they had taken hadn't been used and I ended up taking antibiotics that I shouldn't have and it made my condition worse. Another time, also while pregnant and early pandemic I had to go for a whooping cough jab I asked them to call me five minutes before I actually needed to be there so I wouldn't be near other people for longer than necessary - they didn't bother checking what the person before me was in for and called me to come in and I ended up waiting for 40 minutes and then they didn't even have the vaccine so I had literally sat there all that time for nothing because of their negligence. The doctors are really good here but any dealings with the admin team are a battle.

The worst service ever. I have tried to make an appointment for two days on the phone. Today, I called in the morning and the receptionist said I would have to call from 3pm to get an appointmentā€¦ I called at 3pm and waited for more than 30min on the line and when it was my turn they said that they didnā€™t have more appointments .Rude Attitude from receptionist. Don't care about patients. Doctors and nurses were great. But Worst receptionist ever . .

I called to ask about an appointment, as I have been quite severely ill over the past few days and did not want to have to wait in A&E, the receptionist was rude and not helpful in the slightest, she has a horrible attitude and it has made me uncomfortable to even try to call back. This is really unfortunate as every time I have been the doctors have been very helpful and kind!

This is by far the worst surgery I have ever come across. The doctors are good especially Dr.Ahmed ans Dr hussein as they are very polite, professional and caring however one of receptionists is extremely rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful. I tried for 2 days to get an appointment calling numerously however each time I was put on hold for over an hour and then was told there was no appointments. The doctors need to reconsider their receptionists (not all) as they are the ones at the front desk dealing firstly with the patients and as a result of their behaviour they can bring the surgeries doctors down. If this continues I will be sure to report them to the General Medical Council.

Surprised at the negative reviews - I think maybe based on reception staff who no longer work there. I've been impressed with the surgery. Brilliant new phone system means you can save your place in the queue. Also the online contact form is good for non urgent queries. Fantastic nurses and doctors.

Colliers wood surgery is one of the best surgeries I have been to. I have been with them for over a year now after I moved into the area. The doctors are absolutely brilliant and so are the reception staff who always go above and beyond to help me! I have seen the reception staff get abused by patients when clearly, it has not even been the staff's fault. Dr. Hussain whose my doctor is an angel! Patient's who leave negative reviews need to consider how over stretched the NHS is and should be patient instead of demanding instant appointments/ results. Thank you Colliers Wood surgery and the NHS. Grateful, Rose

Iā€™ve lived in colliers wood for over ten years. Iā€™ve held off on publicly admonishing this practice but I have no other avenue to vent my utter frustration of a failure to service the public. Clearly - this is a long standing, consistent issue based on the litany of errors. How the CQC rated them as ā€œGoodā€ have to to this is incredulous. Trying to get an appointment is almost impossible. Working people are often traveling in the 8am window slot where everyone clambers to beg the receptionist for some precious time. The front line staff, and I assume this is under instruction are triaging patients online. Deciding who deserves an appointment and who does not. Not only is it frustrating to get through but itā€™s humiliating to the degree to have to validate and explain why you need an appointment. In my instance, despite beings sent a letter requesting me to have a drs visit I wasnā€™t able to get one. Instead, because I have nothing else going on in my life, no meetings or regular things to do I have a 2 hour window where someone (Dr) will call me. I guess the people, agreed meetings and companyā€™s will have to wait now while I wait for a dr to call me, to validate getting an appointment after waiting in vain to get through. Despite this being a giant waste of peoples time itā€™s humiliating. If you are trying to speak to someone in the surgery, youā€™re forced to use the intercom on a busy street. Probing, personal questions are thrown to people (sick people) who then have to explain to a receptionist who or what their issue is. I wonā€™t even get into how rude and abrupt some of the staff can be, itā€™s been covered off here enough. Lastly - my regular medication which I request haze been late a few times. Iā€™ve had to walk down to knock on the door and request things. Keith - thank you for helping me BUT itā€™s happened again. Boots chemists tell me that there are regular issues with CW surgery. Itā€™s clear to me that there are serious issues which are not being dealt with, not being remedied. It doesnā€™t cost anything to be caring and kind to people. Even that is missing. This is nothing more than a failure for the community. I will be raising this and itā€™s an ongoing long standing issue. This practice SHOULD NOT AND IS UNFIT to be expand and move to another location. How the CQC can rate this as good, despite publicly stated issues is a blight on them. I really donā€™t like publicly saying the above BUT I have tried so many times to address this with drs and staff. I would like to hear from the owner, one of the Drs on this abject failure of their duty to service their patients. Iā€™m sorry but itā€™s not good enough.

The Gpā€™s here are excellent but are extremely pushed for time due to Tory cuts. Itā€™s 2022 you need to do most things via their excellent website. I guess the real problem is Tory cut and selling key areas of the nhs. The Toryā€™s donā€™t care if workers get sick as long as they have access to private health care thatā€™s all that matters. This surgery is excellent you just need to move on with the times and use their website. Maybe think about voting labour.

2 days in a row i have called for an appointment. I completely understand mondays are hectic as i was caller 29 so i didnā€™t have high hopes. Today i called 3pm was number 12 i got down to number 1 within minutes but proceeded to stay number 1 for 20 minutes. The receptionist answered and said there was no appointments, i told her i had been sitting on the phone for 20mins at number one. She then told me all the calls have been answered they donā€™t know whoā€™s where in the queue. That doesnā€™t even make any sense!!! Surgery has gone down hill big time and the receptionists are to blame!!!

AVOID this clinic. Itā€™s IMPOSSIBLE to book an appointment.Slots are available only at 8am and 3 pm and apparently they fill them up quite quickly, if you se able to catch the line at 8.04am they are already fully booked and they donā€™t offer any other service or support. If you are struggling with your mental health, all the process will make it worst. Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Itā€™s about 2WEEKS, yes two, I am trying to reach a doctor for my referral and still I did not manage to talk to anyone except the receptionist. My conditions are getting worst but as (for them) it is not an urgent matter I have to wait and try again the following day. They simply leave you to deal with your struggles. I am wondering how long it will take to get help and advice for a person with mental issues that probably at this clinic are not treated as the physical ones. I can only change practice and report the negligence of Colliers Wood surgery. Now after this bad review the surgeryā€™s manager will reply offering ears to listen but when people seek help where is your support? Why am I completely ignored despite my conditions?

I had a cycling accident scraping my knee & shin which was quite bloody & wanted it cleaned, so i walked into the surgery for some wet wipes....everyone from reception to nurse were just amazing. So caring & attentive despite not being registered with the surgery. They cleaned and bandaged it for me, all with a smile. True ambassadors & highly appreciated. Thank you šŸ˜Š

Had a good experience here, nurse Khristyne is clearly very good at what she does and was able to talk me through my procedure in a kind and reassuring manner when I was nervous, she also took the time to follow up with me with some informational leaflets which was very much appreciated. I was in and out of my appointment in 15 minutes or less feeling like I was listened to and treated well.

I was provided a flawless and very easy experience from short telephone conversation with the doctor (who called well within the receptionists agreed time) to being seen within 5 minutes at The surgery. Professional non judgemental doctor had a treatment course and the required antibiotics prescribed quickly and showed care for my situation. Will have full confidence in the surgery if needing to use services again, Thank you

Worst Receptionist Ever not helpful at all sometimes I don't think they know what they are doing. Also can never get an appointment with this surgery even when telling them it's an emergency. How can you only release appointments at 8am and 3pm. Something seriously needs to change at this surgey. If I could score lower I would.

If I could give -10 stars I would, but it's not possible. The receptionists are rude, they hang up the phone more than once during an emergency without caring about what I was saying. It's impossible talking to a doctor, they don't visit you, they don't care and once that my 2 yo had a bad infection they gave me an antistaminic instead of antibiotic. That's ridicouls! I had to call 111 and they found another doctor for my son. Never been in a worst surgery, they have no idea what they are doing. Miss amhed (the rudest receptionist) keeps hanging up the phone on people (it happened to my sister too. This is embarrassing and ridicouls for the surgery.

The doctors and nurses at this practice couldnā€™t be better. Genuinely SO helpful and thorough. But the reception staff are the worst Iā€™ve ever experienced, and Iā€™ve lived in a substantial amount of different places. I have been ā€œcaller number oneā€ on hold for 20 whole minutes now and Iā€™ve hung up and rung back to hear they are ā€œexperiencing a high volume of callsā€ and do I want to ā€œRetain my place in the queue and be called backā€ from the automated service. Clearly Iā€™ve been put on hold and forgotten about which is not the first time. The reception staff are slow, unmotivated with no drive whatsoever. Iā€™ve experienced them making a line of people wait outside for 10 minutes or longer before being even spoken to, and often the waiting room has a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere due to their negligence. The automated service is wrong as you press one of the numbers and it tells you itā€™s unable to put you through to the right place as itā€™s the wrong time for that service, but thatā€™s not the right number for that said service, so you canā€™t win?! Iā€™ve read so many bad reviews regarding the reception staff and honestly feel itā€™s about time Colliers Wood Surgery stepped up their game as itā€™s unfair for the doctors are nurses to be working so hard to provide such excellent service when the reception are bringing the reputation of the surgery down. I am someone who genuinely NEVER complains and feels awful if they ever have to, but I feel this really needs to be said now.

It's fine when compared to other health centres but doctors work from home so no appointments available at the 8am phone rush. So, I dont blame the doctors or receptionists or health centre. It's the system that is broken.

I had 2 appointments with nurse Khristyne who was very informative on all my questions. Got seen on time for both appointments - very professional and helpful.

I was not well at all and it was difficult getting things moving as I had just returned to the UK with a chronic illness after a couple of decades abroad. I was able to get in touch with my GP, who provided help and prescribed the needed medications, and my nurseā€™s appointment for routine checks was scheduled quickly, without me even asking. Mrs. Christine was delightful, understanding, and explained everything to me patiently and with empathy. She told me about other check-ups I needed and scheduled appointments for them on the spot. Thank you Colliers Wood Surgery.

I have been a patient of Colliers Wood surgery for appoximately 25 years. I have always experienced due care and attention to my medical needs. GP's have had to cope with unprecedented problems not seen in a century. Review Boards at times can be negative. I would like to express my gratitude to the Doctors of Colliers Wood and our wonderful NhS

I was very worried for my dad who was experiencing severe abdominal pain and after submitting an online message to the Surgery late the night before, I received a text the next morning and Dr Husain was exceptional. He was professional, empathetic, kind and was able to diagnose the issue and provided immediate relief for my dad. He offered a same day appointment which meant the world to us, and his phone call to me before and after seeing my dad were nothing short of incredible work. Thank you to Dr Husain and the Colliers Wood surgery team.

Impossibile to book an appointment. They only take appointment at 8 am and 3 pm and is basically impossible to book one . Always waiting on the line for 40 minutes before even being able to talk to someone, and when they finally pick up the phone , they already run out all the availability. Iā€™ve been trying to contact them since last Thursday still havenā€™t got able to talk to to someone. The doctors are usually very polity and very nice , but is physically impossible to talk to them .

The worst GP! I have tried to make an appointment for two days on the phone. Yesterday, I called in the morning and the receptionist said I would have to call from 3pm to get an appointmentā€¦ I called at 3pm and waited for more than 30min on the line and when it was my turn they said that they didnā€™t have more appointments for the day. I called at 8am sharp the next day for the morning appointments and it says ā€œuser busyā€, so I cannot even get through and wait on the queue. Worst system ever for making appointments! You donā€™t care about your patients at all!
