Vestry Hall is a heritage building which houses many voluntary sector charities which help people. It is now being refurbished to its former glory and will be a venue to be enjoyed by the local people. When it finished please visit.

The staff here were so helpful and supportive. When I attended for my cousins traditional wedding on Saturday. Both the security and the venue manager really helped a lot. Thank you

The blue plaque reads: "THE VESTRY HALL 1887 The Vestry Hall stands near the site of the village pump, the parish stocks and the lock-up, which later housed the village's hand operated fire pump. The architect of this Victorian building was Robert Masters Chart, who became Charter Mayor of Mitcham in 1934, and whose family served as Mitchanm vestry clerks for five generations."

Was taken here 5am in the morning due to a fire at our home. We were welcomed and given hot drinks, children issued laptops and colouring pens, books etc. Sympathetic staff and friendly.

The Vestry hall is a fabulous centre for the community. All sorts of activities are on offer there and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Always happy to be there.

A very useful local venue with many important groups using it. A very efficient man behind the screen knew all. One annoying thing was the over sensitive auto door opener. The sensor scan area included the seating area, so the door was for ever opening and closing

Within the services provided are those for Carers called Carers Support, which has it's own training and updated information for those who want to know the most current needs for Carers. A really good service provided for Carers and should be visited to see what activities are on the schedule. The entrance and reception are small, in a red-brick building but the place does appeal with its quaint, historic features.
