I had forgotten about this place then decided to go for some Mediterranean food and went here instead of Open Sesame. Great intimate date night place, I thought the food was good better even than Open Sesame (where I ate the night before). The hummus was excellent,the dolmas we're good, their salad was huge. I didn't care for the eggplant cooked in tomatoes and neither did my friend. The staff was very attentive and accommodating for dietary restrictions. Overall I will definitely be going back. The prices were also good for a date night. They have patio seating in front, inside seating and backyard seating with fairy lighting. The only thing I didn't like was their baklava it was way too dry and bland.

A great hidden gem 💎. The rice is amazing. Hummus of various varieties are delicious.. Also the hidden back patio reminds me of my travel overseas. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! We go several times a month.

I came to this place for the first time. I love Mediterranean food. Very traditional decor. Loved it. Small place and very clean. The food is fairly priced for the quality and portion size. I ordered the Salmon Kabob plate and they served me a very generous portion of salmon. It was delicious. Rice and salad were good. I'm giving this place 5 stars even though the costumer service wasn't that great. I walked in and the waitress didn't acknowledge me, she didn't come over and offer me a seat and didn't bring me a menu. The owner did all of this. This is why I'm still giving this place 5 stars. He was very nice and i really liked the food. I recommend this place for this reason.

This restaurant is one of my favorites. It's a family run place, with the best kebabs in town, especially their grilled lamb, which is tender, and deliciousy seasoned. Highly recommended!

The highlight of this place is the food. It is absolutely phenomenal! One bite will ensure your return for more. Not the best place to dine in but if you do the service is wonderful.

I tried two dishes, the. Beef kebab and the falafel. It was really good food. I would definitely recommend going if you want some Middle Eastern food.

Very good, a must try. Service was outstanding, food was great. Some of the kabobs were a bit dry, otherwise it would have been a 5 for food!

Has Gyspy Lamb Kebob with tabouleh salad, the portion is just right. The garlic yogurt dressing is amazing. Will come back to try the Gypsy Beef Kabob with Mediterranean salad.

My beef was so good I thought it was lamb, it was very tender. The platter sampler had an eggplant dip that was divine. The Chardonnay was okay, it was on the extremely sweet side.

I just had the falafel plate-it was phenomenal!!! Delicious, fair price, and a large meal. We are here one more morning and it took everything in me to save a little for tomorrow. I highly recommend!

The food here is flavorful, earthy and tasty! I Would eat here often if I lived much closer. Some of the workers are I think are Spanish speaking which is pretty cool!

Hidden gem. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was delicious and very affordable. The service was quick, and friendly and the patio is a lovely place to sit with views of the pier. The falafel had a terrific texture and the flat shape makes them perfect for wraps.

We went there on a whim and were so glad that we did. I had the falafel plate which came with tabbouleh and hummus. It is the best falafel I've ever had. Not too dry but still had a nice crisp coating. So good! And prices were very reasonable.

Chicken salad was tasty. A bit paltry on the portion. $17 and change, please add a bit more salad at the very least. The place was empty at 12:30. Should have trusted my instinct and left.

I ordered the chicken pita sandwich and it was delicious! Chicken was perfectly cooked, and the girl who took my order over the phone had such a great attitude, the workers were very kind and attentive.

That fact that the owner had been my landlord in Belmont years prior had no negative affect on my love for Mediterranean cuisine. Conveniently located at the base of the Belmont Pier gypsies is a great destination spot for dinner.
