We got a late check out to continue meetings. Vary thankful for this extra time and service. When getting back to our room, still 45 minutes prior to our scheduled check out time. We found the room open and the maid going through our personal belongings. Literally going through our bags. He left while apologizing. Mistakes happen, maybe he thought we were gone. Then my wife says my drink cooker is gone. He was close by, searched through the cart and found it, good right? A couple minutes later I noticed a bag I had with paperwork a notebook in it also missing. Head back to the maid. Where's my bag? Getting papers out of the trash, the bag out of the cart, what's that about. Back to my room, a couple minutes later I go to charge my phone, charging chord is missing. Back to the maid, he is gone. Time to check out so we go to the front desk and explain the problem. Ten minutes later the house keeping manager comes up with the chord. It was in lost and found, we were told. Right..... Trust and honesty is always important. It is one thing to have mistakes, but appears dishonest actions are common.

During my check-in at this hotel on Saturday 01/01/2022 @ 4:05pm PST, Amber assisted my family and me but informed me that the reserved room was not available yet. Amber did seem to show empathy but after vocalizing that I was disappointed in Hyatt's service - even though I clearly do not compare to other customers with higher status, Amber offered complimentary parking service and I asked if at least, my request to upgrade to the Regency Suite would have been honored. Amber said that the upgrade cost would be approx. $300/night. However, I kept the Hyatt email that stated $180/night to which Amber immediate said in an annoyed tone that the email is obviously incorrect. I decided to cut the conversation short and Amber offered that I am more than welcome to speak to a manager. Which I declined at the time, as Amber gave me the impression that nothing else could be done. In the end, we were able to check-in one hour and thirty minutes later. While waiting for the Hyatt app to inform me that the reserved room was ready, I checked in with other associates who were a lot friendlier than Amber. The associates offered my family and me drinks from the bar and a later check-out time, which was greatly appreciated. With the exception of Amber, our stay was good but it certainly took away from the fun on this trip to this Hyatt establishment.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were first rate and very accommodating. The hotel was extremely clean with comfortable beds. My only complaint is that the bathroom doors have a frosted glass panel that makes me feel uncomfortable while in the bathroom. It looks pretty and modern, but doesn't give me the privacy that I desire in a bathroom.

One of the best hotels in Long Beach. I know it is one of the cleanest in the area for the men and women there are nonstop cleaning everything. The people who are working at night and on into the early morning are the best for not only putting up with all the foot traffic while waxing the floors and doing their best to accommodate everyone but by doing their job and all the while carrying themselves in a professional manner. Thank you all for the hard work and the dedication for making it possible for all of us to have a great place to stay in.

If you're a young couple looking to book a hotel, maybe find a different place. The staff here all treated me and my husband as though we where not supposed to be there, they where very short and rude anytime we had questions, all while being nice to the older couples before and after us. We where very obviously not welcome. It was quite a shock just getting off a cruise where everyone was nice. I'll be sure to recommend to all my friends to find a different place while staying in long beach. Very beautiful rooms, and great views though.

Really kind staff, good atmosphere. Rooms are a little bare but it’s not a big deal. Mini fridge is nice and big. Water pressure is so so and bathrooms are a little small, but the rest of the hotel makes up for it. The fireplace, Jacuzzi, and pool outside are so nice and clean. Very modern atmosphere and a nice and cozy spot. right across from the shopping center and lots of good restaurants nearby, however the biggest complaint is that it’s very close to a very busy road so at night you can always hear the loud cars passing by. Make sure to get a reservation for swan boats!

The room was quite nice. The location was awesome with views and things to do all around the hotel. I got a pizza (I love pizza) from their grill that was marginal at best. I threw most of it away. The price was excessive. The discounted room rate was a little high but not horrible considering location and type of hotel. What tipped the scale was all of the add-on charges. Some of those nightly fees were: Accommodation fee $75 Parking fee $33 ($37 valet) Ocean view fee $15 In-room movie $18 Taxes 26.2% Bottled Water in your room $4 ea - it could be more, I didn't use any. I was going to drive, but when I compared the cost of 4 days of parking ($132) and gasoline ($80) for the 300 mile trip, I saved about $100 by flying to LB Airport and hiring a Lyft ride to & from the hotel. Something I found odd was the "chiller" in the room it looks like a mini refrigerator, but comes with this warning; "this is not a refrigerator, it's a cooler" and doesn't have an adjustable thermostat. So I used it to store a few things, including the ice bucket. Then I filed a trash can with ice to keep my drinks cold each night.....dumb! If you must come to the area, I recommend this hotel. Just be aware of the extra fees and DON'T get the pizza.

I suppose the location makes up for the room quality although for $75 less you can stay at the Hilton which is three blocks away and you receive a much larger room and better quality. The door paint was peeling off, the toilet had a floater waiting from the previous guest I’m assuming and the AC was stuck on Celsius and couldn’t change it to Fahrenheit because the digital face plate didn’t work properly. Although this was my first and only stay here. This could have just been one bad room and possibly all the others are in better condition. Also verify if the city has an event planned outside the hotel entrance because it made it impossible to check in through the front of the hotel entrance. The city had blocked off the entire street.

I stayed here for a short trip from 1/22/22-1/23/22 and I really enjoyed it! The women at the front who helped us with checkout and check in were very kind and helpful! I loved the style of the hotel. Our room on the 14th floor was a little small but it had enough room for our belongings. The beds were also small as well. The bathroom was nice and clean which was great! The pillows and beds were comfy and there was a variety of channels on the television. The gym was nice also and I liked the life fitness machines. The jacuzzis were also nice as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would come back!

The hotel smells fresh and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The building is new, room is spacious, bedding/ pillows are super comfy . We didn’t have chance to use the pool, hopefully we will be back early soon. Only downside is $33 parking. I wish they had more activities for kids like other Hyatt. Other than that, everything is good.

Great stay at the Long Beach Hyatt. Room and all of the hotel was sparkling clean. EVERY member of staff was super-friendly and helpful. You will not make it from your room to the elevators without a housekeeper (or several) wishing you a good day! (Looking at you, Rosaria!) I was in a corner-king; lovely room: spacious and an incredible view, very comfortable bed and pillows, GIANT TV (after all day at a conference a guy wants to chill), shower was awesome. Hotel food was great. Parking was easy (though not cheap) -but I did get to charge the Tesla for free. I've stayed in a lot of hotels; some would claim to be more luxurious (and definitely more expensive) but the Long Beach Hyatt is certainly the cleanest, freshest and most friendly hotel I have every stayed in and that puts it at the top of my stays anywhere.

First things first, I do want to shout out to the front desk and housekeeping, they were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay! But before you book here just make sure you get ready for fees and bring a good amount of money with you because they're going to want to take a $200 security deposit when you check in. As well when you get into the room make sure that you take a picture of every little thing that is already destroyed before you begin actually staying because it's very likely they will try to blame you even though it's been there. When I arrived the fees caught me off guard, as well I was surprised at how outdated the room was for the price they were charging me for it, the chairs had holes, the bath curtain would not stay closed for my shower, couldn't get a microwave delivered to my room so I had to walk outside my room to go microwave my food next to the ice machine, the windows don't open at all, as well the curtains are incredibly hard to open and close if you have frail hands so be wary of that, the remote for the TV had a very difficult time working and it took me about 10 to 20 minutes just to change the channel because the remote didn't want to surf up and down properly. The view was cool I suppose, the staff for the most part was friendly except for the operator who chose to have an attitude with me when I asked about breakfast, and once again when I called back to inquire about some thing after my stay, not the move. The location does charge a destination fee of $58 that will be taken out after your stay so definitely plan for that, never heard of that and I work at a Resort. Overall the stay here was pretty lackluster, it's nice that it was close to everything that I needed to go to but not sure that I'll be spending my time here next time.

I had an Exceptional experience from the Entrance, Front Desk Agents to the House Keepers; professional staff. Breakfast & Lunch was delicious. Plenty of options to choose. In my opinion this hotel caters for business professionals. Close to shopping Areas and other food places.

I absolutely love the Hyatt Regency Long Beach. The employees are pleasant to talk with. The view over Long Beach is beautiful. I like getting the executive suite, room #1136. It’s got the perfect view. The rooms are always clean. The food is pretty good as well. I’ve been here several times and look forward to coming back. There are several stores and restaurants in this area as well. There is also an aquarium next door as well.

This is an example of a hotel chain that actually lives up to it's name and has excellence all around. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable with fantastic views. Most importantly, they were quiet to allow excellent rest with the option to reduce or eliminate light at the windows. The front desk representative Ray at the Long Beach location provides the best help and should be manager.

I came here for a work-related conference. The proximity to the convention center (literally less than a one-minute walk) was great, as were the nearby attractions and restaurants. The hotel bar and pool area - which has its own bar - were great too. The gym had plenty of equipment, including two Pelotons. My only complaint is that the rooms should include a refrigerator and microwave. Otherwise, we had a great stay here!

From the moment I arrived, the Hyatt promised an extraordinary experience, and it delivered beyond my expectations. The service I received was not just top-notch, it was a paragon of hospitality excellence. The front desk team deserves a special mention for their superlative hospitality. Their warm welcomes, prompt attention to detail, and genuine care for guests' needs set the tone for an impeccable stay. Located in the heart of convenience, the Hyatt stands as a beacon of luxury amidst a bustling cityscape. Its strategic location offers easy access to a plethora of restaurants, shops, and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The beach and various activities are just a stone's throw away, offering endless possibilities for relaxation and adventure. While the in-house restaurant had a limited menu, this in no way was a drawback. In conclusion, my stay at the Hyatt was a five-star experience in every sense. It combined luxury, comfort, and convenience with extraordinary service, making it not just a hotel, but a destination in itself. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, the Hyatt promises an experience that is as unforgettable as it is enjoyable.

I wanted to end my Cali trip 2 nights at Long Beach so I booked here. Maria at the Front Desk, was so kind and help me with a room with a harbor view, and I have to say it was incredible. The room was spacious and the view was something to appreciate while I was still working. Your F&B staff made me feel like family, please thank Nikki, Laura, Salvador, and Javi for me. They were so welcoming during my trip making me want to come back again soon!

Title: A Stellar Experience at Hyatt Hotel Long Beach Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Hotel in Long Beach, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I entered the hotel premises to the time I checked out, every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, I would like to give special recognition to Orion, the representative who made my stay truly outstanding. Orion's attention to detail, unparalleled professionalism, and warm hospitality made me feel incredibly welcome from the get-go. He went above and beyond to ensure that every need and request I had was promptly addressed, making my stay at Hyatt Long Beach a truly memorable one. The hotel itself was a haven of luxury and comfort. The spacious and elegantly designed lobby immediately set the tone for what was to come. The interior decor was tastefully done, blending contemporary style with a touch of local charm. Every corner of the hotel exuded an air of sophistication and tranquility. My room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and boasted breathtaking views of the surrounding cityscape. The plush bed offered a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided were of the highest quality. My favorite part of the room was the modern en-suite bathroom, which was both spacious and well-equipped. The dining options at Hyatt Hotel Long Beach did not disappoint either. The onsite restaurant offered a wide array of delectable dishes that catered to various palates. The impeccable service and exquisite presentation of each culinary creation were a testament to the hotel's commitment to providing a superb dining experience. Additionally, the hotel's amenities were top-notch. The fitness center was well-maintained and equipped with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, allowing guests to maintain their fitness routine even while away from home. The swimming pool was a refreshing escape from the bustling city, offering a serene environment to unwind and take a dip. Last but not least, the location of Hyatt Hotel Long Beach was ideal. Situated in a vibrant neighborhood, it was within walking distance to popular attractions, shopping destinations, and an eclectic mix of dining options. The hotel's close proximity to the beach was an added bonus, allowing guests to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf without hassle. In conclusion, my experience at Hyatt Hotel Long Beach was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the outstanding services provided by Orion. The hotel's luxurious ambiance, impeccable attention to detail, and prime location make it the perfect choice for both leisure and business travelers alike. Without a doubt, I highly recommend a stay at the Hyatt Hotel Long Beach for an unforgettable experience.

The front desk associate that checked us in Saturday early afternoon was awesome, I'm sorry I forgot his name but he was the only male there at the checkin area. The staff at the coffee bar and snack bar area were also great. We've stayed at this location a few times and every time it's been great they're always very helpful and treat you like family.

One of my favorite hotels. Exactly the right spot for a weekend in Long Beach. Spacious and comfortable lobby, classy and attentive staff. Easy walk to harbor attractions, shopping and the entertainment district.

Service was top notch. Maria at the front desk was super hospitable and provided us with BOMB eating recommendations. While some parts of the room show a little bit of wear & tear, we were beyond happy with our experience. This was our first stop in a multi-city trip throughout the state, and it has been the best, by far.

The staff truly make you feel welcomed the moment you set foot into the lobby. The food in the market/bar area is incredible and the view from the room (Harbor View) looks just gorgeous. Having a straight view into the Queen Mary and all the harbor boats. The only problem that I found is both the bed and the shower. The bed is very firm, which I did like but the sheets were VERY rough, and the pillows were extremely heavy and rough as well. I had a good night rest but I am a heavy sleeper, my wife in the other hand, hand trouble finding a comfy position due to the hard pillows. It’s a good thing they had a spare soft pillow on the closet, but it would have been cool if they had mentioned it. The shower is alright, little tricky to understand where to turn to get hot water. So expect a couple of minutes of trial and error to understand how the knob works. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely consider another booking in the future. But the bed really is going to make this hotel my second option.

Truly incredible staff. We are frequent Hyatt customers (Globalist) and stayed here 3+ times while in the process of moving to Long Beach. The front desk and breakfast staff - really, everyone we've encountered here - have consistently been great. Would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown LB. Keep it up!

Family and I Stayed 2 nights 3 days. This place was perfectly located around shops, food location (restaurants and food trucks) , sight seeing, entertainment, the beach. The only time we moved our car was to go to San Pedro for the famouse fish market but other than that, everything is all around. BIG flat screen T.V's. I recommend upgrading for a room with a view, its well worth it. The staff members were nice and super courteous. We will definitely be staying there again.

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a conference. It was a decent hotel but they kept it absolutely freezing in the entrance and near the elevators so that part was uncomfortable. The rooms were pretty average in size and the amenities weren’t all that. The front desk personnel were helpful and polite. I didn’t really interact much with the rest of the hotel staff. Conference rooms were good sized and they kept those freezing as well. Suggestion: Bring a jacket or a sweater if you are going there.

The hotel is very well taken care of. Has an amazing view and plenty of places to shop and get food. The services they have to offer are top notch. The room I stayed at was nice. The cleaning staff was friendly as well

Everything is good about this place! Great location, facilities, staff and value for money. Connected to the convention center which makes it a very handy place to stay if you are attending a conference but equally, if on holidays it is a great base for exploring the sights and attractions of LA.

We had quite a good experience here. We had some issues in our room, and we called the front desk. They moved us to a room with a better view. It has beautiful views day and night. The number of restaurants and places are at walkable distances.

Our Family recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach over the weekend. The entire staff team (valet/front desk/cleaning staff) are very friendly. The gym is well equipped with all you need (an array of diverse exercise equipment & yoga room/mats). The hotel is perfectly situated near the Waterfront/Beach/Restaurants/Pikes Outlet Mall (Nike Outlet with great deals!). Great location to spend a few days!

This was a really nice hotel! Right when you walk in, the lobby is spacious, clean, and there are places to sit. There’s a market cafe with breakfast items that range from sandwiches to eggs and bacon (good for me, being Keto & gluten free). There is a parking garage available for $38 (yikes! $$) and valet for $43. It was easy to leave parking and walk around the nearby area. We were for a volleyball tournament at the Convention Center. There is a small cooler to keep food/drinks cold, and NOT a refrigerator (FYI). Our own cooler with ice packs/ice kept things colder. Bring your ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. There were people who were at the pool and being loud at 3am. You can easily hear the people in the room next door. The room felt clean. There was a small desk. The view was beautiful (water side).

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff were all super friendly and they were able to check me into my room early which was so crucial since I had a tired baby with me. The room was really clean and nice. Definitely seemed recently renovated. I requested a crib and they brought up a brand new Graco pack-n-play within 20 minutes of my checking in. The food at the cafe in the lobby was actually really good too. I would definitely stay here again

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Long Beach for a business trip. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The parking was convenient, and a non-valet option exists. Check-in was smooth and the staff was courteous. Best of all, the views were absolutely spectacular. I booked one of the lower end rooms but still found myself with absolutely stunning views out the window. My only complaint is that I walked down to the nearby PF Changs for dinner, and I found the area a bit seedy and felt a little uncomfortable as a woman alone. There were some vagrants and homeless people around. Nothing too extreme, but there may be better options if this is a major concern for you.

We had a wonderful stay. Paid a bit more, but well worth every penny. Will definitely consider staying again. Staff was very accommodating. Coffee at the Cafe was pretty darn good too. Special thanks to Jose for helping us with luggage, while being friendly with a warm smile!

Great location to stay if you're leaving to get on a cruise. Location is okay, you really have to drive most of the time if you want food. Views are great if you have a Bay room view. The Ocean view rooms aren't exactly an ocean view room. The beds aren't comfortable, it's about the quality of a low end hotel. They do have good food and drinks in their lobby.

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Long Beach for a work conference and were very satisfied with level of service received during our stay. From check in to check out, the entire staff was phenomenal. I loved the property and convenience to LBCC. It was also close to places to eat and we enjoyed the LB harbor views from our room. The valet Jordan even ensured we had water for the road as we checked out from the parking at end of the stay. It's customer service like this that will have us coming back again and being loyal to the brand! Thanks to entire staff for the hospitality!

Location was good, staff was so friendly, but the walls are thin. We were next to a loud family and we could hear everything. Every time someone in the hall shut their door it made our door jump a little too which was annoying. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bed is comfy.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt Regency for a hydrographic Survey conference. The location alone gets it 5 stars in my book. Everyone from wait staff to front desk to bartender to housekeeping were exceptional. Friendly, talkative and helpful. The main lobby “cafe”/lounge area was really cool and they had a great breakfast burrito, not to mention the huge cinnamon bun. Overall 10 stars, from beginning to end. 10/10 would stay here again and would recommend anyone to.

Very comfortable clean room. Nice staff and a delicious Cafe (Market Cafe and bar). We had breakfast, pizza, burger and chicken sandwich over 3 days. All excellent! And great cocktails at the bar! Close to lots of fun and shopping. Room with a view across from the Queen Mary.
