I'm a long time regular customer with excellent credit. 99% of restaurants in the area allow credit cards, they decided all of a sudden I can't use credit and demanded debit which requires pass code. I had to pay three dollars extra ATM fee for my meal, will not be returning.

This place is NOT clean. Flies all around. The burger was decent but the service I received from the young woman taking my order was ATROCIOUS. Barely looked at me, looked super bored, looked annoyed when I asked for water. Also, if you're using a card they are charging you a $1.00 convenience fee. Highest I've seen in a WHILE. All in all, if I were you, I'D FIND ANOTHER JOINT.

I've been coming here off and on for 35 years. I'm sure they've been through several owners but they keep getting better. My last visit there was for breakfast. Pork chops and eggs done very well. All in all a great experience.

Total was 9.69. Used debit card to pay. They input my fee as $10.00 into the terminal then charged an additional $0.99 cent terminal fee. Did not receive the difference back. Friends total was rounded up to $20 along with a $0.99 cent terminal fee and he received the difference in cash back?? A notice about the terminal fee is posted with no information about how much the fee is. Food was alright.

I've been a customer for a while now. Yes, I must agree with everyone one else regarding the restaurant's "look" not very much appealing but this is the best spot for my family and I. I don't eat beef or chicken burgers, I've only eaten fish sandwiches from here and they're the best I've ever had, better than McDonald's Filet-O-Fish. Prices are a bit high for some items but other than that, everything is a reasonable price. You're paying for quality food that is very delicious. The elderly lady at the register is very lovely, has so much to say as soon as my husband and I walk in, very welcoming. 👌

Best burgers I've ever had..and I've worked at Islands and love the Buffy The Hamburger Slayer from Hamburger Mary's but this is hands down rocking. Also chili cheese fries are great. I haven't tried much else though. Really good prices. Go here!!

What is good service coming to?? I’m starting to notice a lot more getting sick from restaurants sloppy not caring about the coustomer anymore just collecting money and giving bad food to people is not the American way ... we work to hard for our money and in these days of time with the rich getting richer.At least for those who don’t own businesses and just try to get bye and give you business to have a business please service what you portray good food!! My experience with my wife at this place was horrible. If you don’t have it in your heart to make good food for the good people in this country please look elsewhere to make a dollar! This goes out to all the restaurants in the United States of America serving those who work hard for there dollar to give it to your business in return of the right to have a good meal paid with legal tender.

3/20/2022 = 2 Star = Food are okey , my uncle dosen't like how they cook the hash potatoes, food are 4 star but i give 2 star because this store don't accept credit card , they want only cash or debit . Will try again after couple years .

I've been eating at Blue Star since the late 80's. The price and the food are great!!!

Very good mom and pop eatery in Long Beach CA. Good food a d better service. Will return for more!!!Yummmmmm....

Great burger joint for those that one to get in, get filled and leave or just take joe to enjoy… great prices too
