If you think it looks bad, wait until you taste it. Little to no broth and very oily. Is this because it's served is a paper bowl and anymore broth will disintegrate it too quickly? Worst Ramen I've ever had. Noodles were inconsistent. Only real flavor was of peanut or possibly sesame seed. Seriously, I've had better top ramen. Very disappointing, very disappointed indeed. The only joy I take is in writing this ludicrously scathing review.

Just ate here and found hair half way through my meal. Took it back to the window told them I found this long hair in my soup. The manager tells me nobody here with long hair. I had to school him on customer service. I wasn’t saying I wanted a free meal or even my money back just show some concern for the customer. I don’t care that there isn’t anyone with long hair I have hair in my soup. Do something to make the customer happy. And the manager still said your outside eating no telling where that hair came from. Never eat here unless you want to pull a long hair in your mouth out of your mouth from no telling where according to the manager. 6/9/19 4:30 pm No thanks for my meal Won’t eat here again Pastor Bobby Jimenez

Tajima Ramen is part of the Steelcraft family close to Bixby Knolls on Long Beach Blvd. Long Beach in general certainly is lacking in specialty ramen shops and it was pretty exciting for me to have Tajima arrive in town. I wasn't disappointed! I do want to mention that their broth uses a lot of garlic, so if you're not into a garlic-y broth, this might not be for you. Otherwise, I really liked their ramen. They even have a vegetarian ramen which is also really good. I am only giving them 4 stars because I think the portion is a bit small for the price you pay. Wished they'd make them a little larger and more satisfying.

If you're in Long Beach, this is probably the best you can get in the area. Otherwise you would have to travel a bit further (and probably pay more) for the same quality or better. I personally enjoy their Ramen a lot. I got their $11 Tajima Ramen during lunch time. The wait was approximately 20 minutes. I've had their ramen before when they served it in a plastic or styrofoam bowl - I'm glad they changed it to these black bowls bc it makes the ramen look more appetizing. Noodles: Medium firmness, which I like. Broth: Very good flavor. Rich but not overbearing. Meat: You get a fat piece of pork belly...best part! Egg: The egg I got was okay. The one I got was almost cooked all the way through. Toppings: You get a lot of garlic, onions, and sprouts. Overall, I think this is a great spot for a reasonable price. I'll be coming back again.

This ramen is absolutely delicious! I’ve been to several more “traditional” places in Little Tokyo and this place holds its own among them. I’m not sure why there are bad reviews on here. This place is great!

I would drive from anywhere to have their VEGAN RAMEN...it is the creamiest and absolute best! I add either extra garlic or extra fried tofu! Ohhh...THE SPINACH NOODLES are so delicious! Even if you're not vegan this is a must! Highly suggest it!

Location - Inside the steelcraft area amongst others restaurants. Venue - Not much to say since its a shipping container but they keep the area clean. Parking - Limited parking around here, but if you go across the street they have a bigger lot. Prices - Fair pricing as it is priced with competition. Service - Line moves quick and the employees here are nice and explain stuff to you. Food - Ramen wasn't bad but I've had better at there main location in S.D. that is delicious and feels like larger bowls. Overall good experience but could use a step up on flavor.

The Tajima Ramen is rich in flavor and in texture. But the garlic was overwhelming in the bowl, so either mix a lot or ask for them to go light on it. Next the half egg that was placed in the bowl was cold and felt old throwing off the entirety of the bowl. Overall it was an alright experience.
