Can't believe I never noticed this place! Excellent coffee with the added bonus of little museum type setting. They roast the beans in house so you can see their set up which was pretty cool. Service was fast and friendly, with a small town feel. Can't wait to go back and try again.

A favorite since they do in house coffee roasting. The quality is very good and they have plenty of options available for all coffee drinkers. Employees were willing to help but had a little bit of an inflated ego about their coffee knowledge. Bagel was served burnt but was still good quality.

Easy, this is on my top 10 Coffee House list for 2018! Big, big wow... Many kudos. They have style, history, color, suave and coffee roasted in house with vintage roasting machine. Polly's is vintage gorgeous. That isn't all either. The location on 2nd St in Long Beach is way cool. They have patio seating of you prefer the warmth of California over 200 days every year. Every inch of Polly's talks to you. I love this place. Wait, wait, wait, the service is way above average; friendly barristers to serve you. Take your camera, friends and family! There are good reviews about this coffee but from my experience at Long Beach Airport location, after a few sips, I have nothing good to say about it. I had to throw it away. It was so bad.

Great place to get a great variety of fresh roasted coffee's. Don't forget to have their freshly baked muffins and scones. Get there early before they are sold out!

Sheldrake's coffee is always hot & fresh! The best coffee on 2nd street. You can smell the coffee down the block, cause he roasts his beans right there in the store. There is also a great variety of teas to choose from. The employees are very friendly & if you happen to catch Mike (the owner) there, well even better! He's very welcoming, always talking & laughing with the customers.

This is a neighborhood coffee place where they roast their own coffee from beans from all over the world. Their muffins and other breakfast pastries are fresh and delicious. People can sit outside on a patio or inside the store and just relax with friends while enjoying delicious coffee.

Wonderful coffeehouse with lots of interesting things to look at inside. You can see their whole roasting set up. Great location, very clean, and incredibly friendly staff!

It's a very local coffee shop. It is a friendly place where all the locals come. The clerks are friendly. The coffee is delicious and it's a place you should visit at least once if you're nearby. Coffee is also cheap.

Great place to buy high quality beans, with options to buy smaller sizes so you can try many types. My favorite is the organic Ethiopian, which comes in a rare medium roast

Posting and dinging them on business policy. They wouldn't fill a reusable travel mug rather serving in a paper cup with lid and sleeve, in a place (airport location) with no paper recycling (cans and plastic only). In a time where we're hyper conscious of environmental concerns it's wasteful and a simple business policy swing and miss.

I've only been here twice. Both times I was met with uplifting service. I purchased a mocha which was so delicious and a bag of ground coffee that was great. It reminded me of small upstate NY coffee spot where everyone knows everyone. A real gem of a place.

The coffee is superb quality, baked goods are fresh and staff is phenomenally great. Some have worked at this coffee shop about 20yrs, it’s a friendly place & excellent coffee!

Good Coffee. House Blend Drip (recommended), Jamaican Blue Mtn, Pour over. JBM is like all other JBM... unremarkable.. I ordered it coz all the available coffee were on the dark side, common roast profile for JBM. House Blend was great .

This place is old-time Belmont shore. Not the swank Philz of today. It's a slower pace where neighbors gather. Love it.

Not the most modern but super friendly. Coffee was good, pastry was ok.

The cashier at the LBC airport location on Monday 2/6/23 at 10:30 am was the worst customer service I have received in long time. There was no Hi can I help you. We stood there for over five minutes before she even looked up to help us and when she did help us her demeanor was horrible. I fly to LBC often and always get coffee there and leave a generous tip but will not be patronizing this place anymore ☹️

Great coffee with roasting on site. Parking adjacent and patio dining. Easy to to stop and enjoy.

Knocked a point off because even paying customers are not allowed to use the bathroom. Other than that, great place, coffee, food, and outside patio. Bike friendly with bike parking behind the patio next to the building.

Don’t be fooled by the name it’s still essentially Pollys. It’s a long story ask Mike. Anyway great place, great vibe, great coffee. Being from out of town it’s nice to see that it’s still there and still the same.

My husband loved their coffee and I loved their tea.

This used to be our go-to place. I had the half decaf with oat milk. It was not very hot and did not taste very rich. The staff was nice and attentive.

Great place but the girl who served me had no idea how to toast a muffin. Or give me a plate for it. Very odd. It's not hard to toast a muffin.

Freshly roasted coffee, with a born on date, in a room dominated by the roaster. Shipped about five feet. If you want professionally made, fresh coffee, from people who know what they are doing, this is the place.

Used to buy coffee beans and tea here after they opened in the mid-'70s. It was known as Polly's Coffee back then, now it's called Sheldrake Coffee Roasting. Same high quality! Met the owner on my way out after purchasing a couple of different coffees and exchanged a few memories.
