I've been staying at the every week for the past 5 months. The service has been steadily improving lately and Josh (manager) deserves the bulk of the credit. He recognizes guests by name and is always accommodating. Ps: if you don't want to walk a half mile, arrive before 5pm. Otherwise, bring your walking shoes.

From the moment we walked through the doors of LBH, we were greeted with an enthusiastic, friendly smile from Josh! Not only did he provide us with an incredibly smooth check in, but also took the time to talk with us and share in some laughs! In fact, anytime we were in the lobby he made us feel very at home and comfortable with his warm and light personality! Our room was the perfect cozy spot for our last night in town and was clean and spacious. The following morning, we ran into trouble with our car and needed to take it to the mechanic before our 16 hour drive home. Josh made our rough day a million times better and went above and beyond to help accommodate us. Josh is not only a stellar employee but an awesome human being and we are so lucky to have met him! Thank you Josh and the Long Beach Hotel! We appreciate you so much. Get this man a raise!

I was traveling for a family wedding. Staying over one night so was not looking for a lot of extras that I wouldn’t be using. The price seemed right and it was out is season for the beach. I was disappointed with the level of service. No wash cloths in bathroom. Had to wrestle the bath gel out of the dispenser to use it. Room was clean. Old hallways with dirty old carpet however no smell. That was a plus. Front lobby has no place to safely secure luggage if you need to store it for an hour or two. They wanted to charge for late checkout but front desk clerk was training and had no idea if there was a charge or not. One person knew what she was doing and she was training people. She was very nice and knowledgeable. No free coffee after 12 noon. Honestly. An elderly couple only wanted a coffee at 12:20. How hard to make a pot. It was right in lobby and all set up ready to go. Don’t expect too much. They did call a cab for me before I even came down to lobby as previous requested. That young lady was on the ball. Hope she stays for managements sake. Sleep and leave is my advice. ! No place real close to get breakfast. But a 15 min walk will get you a bagel and coffee. Short walk to beach. Very nice board walk.

Abysmal! The entire experience from check in to departure was horrible! My wife and I were attending a wedding very recently in the area along with others, and this hotel was regrettably chosen by the bride and groom for their guests. They had no idea of the problems that their guests would experience. The room we reserved was not ready when we checked in, well past the 3:00PM posted check in time. Many other guests experienced this as well. After waiting for our room, we were given one only to be diverted to another room as we went to go into it. We went to the room we were finally given and barely had enough time to change and get on the bus at 5:45PM that took us to the reception. We, along with many of the wedding guests met with the wedding party the next day for brunch in the hotel restaurant. A complete disaster! We, along with other guests never received our food after waiting a ridiculous amount of time to have our orders taken! I paid cash for the room upon check in, and was assured that the credit card I used to make the reservation would not be charged. A few weeks after the stay I received my billing statement and found that my credit card had been charged even though I was assured it would not be! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Josh was amazing! He really made our experience at the hotel a lot better! When it comes to the hotel you get what you pay for, but not with Josh. He was happy to be there and happy to see us every time we saw him! He gave us great advice on how to navigate around the city. We are so happy to have met him and this review would not be five stars without him.

I made a reservation today and was so happy with the staff. Especially with Josh, as always, he was more than welcoming and helpful. It is very is nice when you already feel welcomed starting at the preparation of your trip. Thanks everyone

This is a two star hotel, not because it only offers the basics but because of silly priorities and neglect. I have stayed in a lot worse hotels to be sure, but none that has problems that were so easily fixable. Positives: -There was good water pressure in the sink and shower. -The A/C adjusts quickly to your desired temp. -It is located steps from the beautiful boardwalk and beach. -The room had a nice mini-fridge. -There is a shelf with a bar stool to work on your labtop. *I did not try the bar/restaurant Negatives: -There are holes in every wall. -The bathroom door doesn't meet the door frame so you have to slam it to close it. -There is water damage on the ceiling. -One mattress felt significantly more comfortable than the other. -The pillows are poor quality. -There is nowhere to put your suitcases. -It's just ridiculous that there is a useless, wide-open space in the middle of the room. Just get a used table from an alley somewhere if you are cheap. -There were no cups for water. -The staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. -There was always someone in an agitated mental state in the lobby or in front of the hotel when I walked by. -Our room (138) had a Jacuzzi tub/shower, which you would think would be a plus. However, it is difficult to get in and out of if you are not able to lift your legs high enough. Plus, who would use the jets in a Jacuzzi in a hotel like this? They are just bacteria sprayers. It's too bad that this hotel gets so many bad reviews just because the basics are not addressed.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed at! The rooms are filthy and the headboards are stained all over. The water pressure was terrible, the tub did not drain properly and the water was dingy and tinted yellow. The management and staff were extremely unprofessional when they overbooked our room. I was made to leave at 4pm the next day (after being told at checkin I was confirmed for two days). I had my 3 year old granddaughter with me and my daughter (two women and one child) and there were no other hotels with availability near. They beat on our door waking up my granddaughter demanding we leave immediately as they needed to clean the room and someone else had it reserved. We had no time to pack our belongings (we thought we were going to be there for another day) so we had to throw everything together, wake my granddaughter and leave to travel back (3hours). Do not bother with their brunch as the waitress was horrific .... I listened to her talk to an older women terribly when she just asked for a napkin. Also a horrible experience. I am not one to write a review as we have all had bad experiences. But I could not go without warning other families about this hotel.

This hotel has the potential to be so great but it misses the marker tremendously. There is constantly leaks all over the place like literally water leaking from the ceiling. While claiming to be a smoke free hotel my suite reeked of cigarette smoke. The odor was so strong. They did absolutely nothing to accommodate me in anyway. I ask for wash cloths and they were like we don’t have for $350 a night I think asking for a wash cloth would be appropriate. They nickel and dime you because it’s a seasonal beach hotel. Also they charge you for parking $25 , Beach Towels Rental $25 dollars u do however get your money back, $10 dollars for beach chairs, $10 for umbrellas non refundable . Fourth of July the Restaurant was closed no food at all. This place needs an entire make over. The staff also needs a tune up. The one thing that this place has going for them is location.

8/21/2022 10am Are you thinking about staying here for a wedding? Don't do it. We stayed here with about four other families and two of us had problems with the air conditioner that didn't function and dripped all over us. The night staff had no solution and come the morning the front desk told us there was nothing they could do about it. When we spoke to David at the front desk he immediately dismissed it, and when we told him we wanted the room refunded, he said they don't respond to threats, we were being big shots, and then told us we were "done", kicking us out of the hotel. If the manager considers leaving a bad review online of their poor handling of the experience a threat then perhaps he should rethink his line of work. Mind you we slept with an 80° room at the other end of the bed because the air conditioner dripped all night, in addition to that the unit would intermittently make screeching noises when it felt like turning on. We considered leaving but we had to be back in Long Beach in 8 hours for post wedding festivities. David, if you're reading this we have already contested the charge with our credit card because we don't expect you to be helpful at all. Maybe you don't find the experience significant but perhaps the attached photos will speak for themselves.

Was apprehensive when a delta offered this to me but it was a pleasant surprise. The building is old and could use a little facelift and or thorough cleaning in the stairs and hallways. The room was also not updated -sort of 60’s charm. Hardwood floors were a welcome surprise. Bed VERY comfortable and all was clean. Again not fancy and shows some wear but CLEAN in the room and exactly what this tired traveler needed. Thomas at the front desk is AMAZING! Really went above and beyond to get us into rooms quickly and to the airport the next morning. Highly recommend for what it is-airport layover hotel/place to enjoy the cute beach town that feels nothing like NYC.

We stayed here courtesy of Delta airlines because of a missed international flight. We arrived at the hotel completely exhausted and discouraged from the airport runaround. Josh warmly greeted us at the front desk. In minutes had us in a room. His kindness was so needed and appreciated! I was thankful he was working the next morning as well. He called and arranged for the airport vehicle service for our pickup. He clearly loves his job and is the perfect host for distraught travelers! The hotel is old! It smells musty, the floors are uneven, and everything you’d expect in an old building (including antiquated elevator). The beds were quite comfortable although the waterproof mattress covers on top of the egg crate toppers made for a hot and sweaty night. The room had a mini fridge and provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The location is about a 0,5 miles from several restaurants. There is an on-site bar and grill that has limited hours (closed on Monday). Overall, it is a lower quality hotel with a great front desk support!

Oh boy. We were lucky enough to have the Long Beach Hotel experience due to Delta/KLM placing us here after a missed flight. It's what I like to think of as a 'dirt bag' hotel. Delta/KLM aimed for low bidder and hit the bullseye. Thanks guys. First, I must say that the check-in staff were nice and did their best to get our rooms arranged late at night after the airline dumped us off. So no shade to them. Now, on to the meat of the matter. The hotel lobby smells something like eau de lavatory. The carpets are dirty circa maybe the 80s and have never been washed. The tiny elevator is very slow and somewhat questionable. The aforementioned smell follows you to your shabby room. The decor is flop house. The lamp had no bulb (bring a flashlight). The spaces around the ill fitting door are so large you almost imagine you can wave to the people in the hallway. The pillows are cheap throw pillows. We slept the merciful few hours we were there on top of the blanket because we were afraid to use the sheets. So, in summary, don't stay here unless you are desperate. The owner should be ashamed, and so should Delta airlines/KLM for sending people here.

Six hours after getting off our flight, American Airlines finally sent us to this hotel. The process was frustrating to say the least. We had been up for over 24 hours, waited in long lines, and put on the wrong shuttle, so it took over an hour to get to the right hotel, plus we were in an unknown city in the middle of the night. After all of that, Josh was a breath of fresh air. He was calm, friendly and helpful even when faced with a line of disgruntled passengers. I can’t say anything about the location since all I did was sleep for a few hours, but the service was great.

We just arrived. Check in took forever. Only one person working the counter. Some guests gave up and left because the wait was so long. It took three tries with three different rooms and over an hour wait just to get a room that was actually clean, dry and big enough to allow one person to walk around the bed. The first room had hair on the bed and the light fixture was dripping water onto the bed, the head board was covered in stains or mold. Who knows what all those spots were? We showed kind Fernando who was checking all the rooms, he saw the issues and told us to go back to the front desk. After another long wait, the second room we were assigned, we couldn't even walk around the bed, the room was so cramped. It was very hot too, unlike the first room which the air conditioner was working. Asked to speak to a manager, we were told there was not one on, at that time. After another long, long wait at the front desk, we finally got a room that was clean, dry, cool and had room to walk around the bed. Also, the listing for the hotel said they have free parking. Not true. There is on street parking that is free...IF you are lucky enough to find an available spot. The parking spots are all taken! Be prepared to drive around and around just to park. The hotel says they have a parking lot, which is down the street and around the corner but it's an additional charge of $25 per day! That is not free parking! Definitely, not friendly lodging, especially for guests with mobility challenges. It took so long to get a parking spot at 3:00pm, when we arrived..now we can't leave the hotel to get dinner because we will lose our parking spot that was so hard to find. Advise to find other accomodations! Never again!

These place was amazing!! Everyone was Very nice and accommodating! Funny story- I asked for a late check out the day I was leaving so I could take a nap. I had until 12! Which was awesome! Then I woke up to someone pounding on the door!! It was 130!!!!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was so embarrassed. I’d never done that before. Long story short, I took and shower and by the time I left it was 3. I felt sooo bad. I’m just so thankful that after all that, Matt (front desk) Was very polite and still had a big smile on his face! Because it could of gone another way! Great customer service, Long Beach Hotel. I’d definitely stay here again!!

Exceptional customer service from Thomas. Rooms were clean, cool, and beds very comfortable. Lots of snacks in lobby. Coffee in the morning. Good location in Long Beach. Unfortunately we were staying there because of a cancelled flight so it was a bit of a drive from JFK but the service we had was worth it.

AA put us up here due to a severely delayed flight. It was a 30 minute transfer from JFK. They have a fairly well stocked snack room for you food voucher ( bring your snacks up to the receptionist as you check in). The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean although the hallways needed vacuuming. It's a block from the beach.

If this place would’ve been called a motel, I would’ve been a lot happier. Thinking I’m booking into a hotel. We were so disappointed. The rooms are very old and run down. We had broken electrical outlets, one electrical outlet was hidden behind a mirror, the curtains are mismatch, and there was a hole in one of the curtains. I couldn’t turn the lamp on and there were no outlets by the bed. The pictures on the website were far nicer than the real room. With a little TLC and a renovation budget This place could be beautiful especially if they make the lobby a little more inviting, with more seating and lounge areas, considering it’s a Hotel. Toilet seat broken, shampoos in bath didn’t pump and were broken, we asked for extra towels, housekeeping took all our old towels and washcloths, gave us new towels but no washcloths.

The hotel removed my initial review. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had in my entire life. My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary last weekend and were extremely disappointed with everything besides the location of this place. Prior to our arrival, I requested flowers and champagne, for which they asked $100. Come to find out, they got us a $5.99 'champagne' with a handful of tulip petals (go figure). The manager offered 'shots on the house' to compensate for this. The room we were promised was meant to have a good view, we were put on the side of the building with a view of a parking lot. The AC was not working and windows were taped because they were wobbly - a hazard on its own. The bug screen was half ripped off. Most of the promised utilities were missing. When we returned from dinner, our door was wide open, which management blamed on us as 'no one else had access' (I asked them to check the cameras and they declined). Luckily we hid our valuables. It was difficult to speak with management because it seemed as though they were intoxicated. We checked out at 6 AM the following day as could not wait to get out of that place. When I brought these issues to management they did very little to fix the above concerns. Please avoid this place at all costs.

Do not stay here! Booked a block of rooms for a wedding and every single guest had an issue from bugs in the tub, gave away rooms, cleanliness, check in and rooms not ready so they missed party bus, wedding courtesy bags not given out, brunch reserved for 35 people and half only got food, Horrible rude staff. They do not know how to run a hotel! The worst customer experience we ever had. It may seem like a cheap rate but you get what you pay for! Run! We wrote letters, sought legal action and still ongoing a year later. Very stressful!! Horrible experience! Zero rating. Read all the reviews, we wish we had!

No. No. No. Yikes. Delta airlines sent us here after flight issues. It was dark when we arrived and when we left the next morning so no details on the surrounding area. The elevator was...vintage to say the least. It was behind a normal looking door then you pull back a gate before moving from floor to floor. The floors creaked and were uneven and the hallways were narrow. This place is definitely haunted. We didn't see any bugs, but felt like they must've scurried into the shadows when we turned the light on in the room. The bathroom and linens were pretty nice and seemed new. I didn't dare pull the covers back and slept on top of them. I was too exhausted to care.

First of all, staff was very nice (Ariel and Fernando specifically) BUT pretty bad experience. Towel rack fell the moment I touched it and there were (what I hope) were food crumbs in the sheets... Yuck. The cold water knob is actually hot, but it's hard to tell bc the caps are gone on the other knobs. It should be easy to do

DO NOT STAY HERE! We had a terrible experience, we attempted to check-in in the afternoon but our room key was not working. We were heading to a wedding and the man at the front desk assured us he would figure out the issue by the time we got back. When we got back to the hotel we got a new card, however it was still not working. An hour later, they were still not able to get us into the room after trying several other keys. Eventually they got us another room, but the headboard had stains and there were bugs crawling around. When we told the man at the front about our bad experience in the morning they said there was nothing we could do. The staff is nice, but completely incompetent.

I would have given 0 stars if it was available! My wife is in a wheelchair and can only walk using a walker and they told us that they accommodate disabled people! They lied. She couldn’t get into the bathroom unless she went in sideways with the walker and that was hard because the walker barely fit! When we were checking out I went to bring stuff to the car after the fire alarm went off and the elevator wasn’t working because of that and I was stuck downstairs for an hour because I can’t walk up 2 flights of stairs and my wife was stuck in the room until they were able to get the elevator working! We’ve stayed at far better motels for a fraction of the cost and they offered no comp!! Never Again!!!

LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!! TERRIBLE HOTEL! DO NOT STAY HERE! Old tiny outdated and dingy rooms. We came here for a wedding and none of the rooms were ready. We finally got into our rooms minutes before the wedding ceremony so we had to rush to get ready. The HVAC unit on the wall doesn’t work so we were freezing all night trying to stay warm under the super thin blankets. The rooms smell the water pressure is horrible and yellow and the sink and tub doesn’t drain. The curtains are a joke so the sun hits you in the face first thing in the morning so forget about trying sleep in a little. The woman behind the counter was left alone to try and deal with all the problems of the hotel but she was very nice and handled it well. Stay as far away as possible it’s not worth it even if it were free!!

Awful! They moved my room without my knowledge or permission, and had three people do it while I was not there. The third room that I was in did not have air conditioning working until the following day, and it was a miserable nights sleep. The pillows are also folded to look nice, but feel terrible. It’s the style of the hotel. They also refused to give me more towels when I asked (literally just once). The night manager, Josh, thought he would be able to get me a credit, but upon checking out and speaking to the day manager, I was met with nothing but absolute nastiness (“lady get out of my face”), and he was completely unwillingness to make any adjustments. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Terrible people and a terrible experience.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!! My son was getting married at a nearby venue. So most of the bridal party stayed at this place. What a disgrace!! Roaches were in some of the rooms. The bride woke up with a roach on her head, some guests found roaches in the suitcase & in shoes & slippers. The rooms were not the cleanest, our window was filthy & cracked, water pressure terrible. The manager was never available when we called, and when he did he was quite arrogant. We wanted all the guest who experienced this horrendous situation to get compensated since we all paid at least $200 per room. He told us he would not give any money back but he would give us a 10% discount on our next visit!!! No way are we ever coming back. The board of health will be notified along with other agencies!!! The incompetence of the staff is unacceptable!!! This happened over the Labor Day weekend!! I give this hotel a minus 10!!!!!

Rooms are ok but lacking some necessities. Restaurant was always closed. Couldn’t even eat breakfast. Only had snack place which flooded. Then cash only which we didn’t have. Walls are thin so you hear all your neighbors. Location good.

The service in the restaurant was above and beyond. Difficult customers due to their flights delayed because of the flooding, but both bartenders handled difficult customers in such high class matter. Both female bartenders deserve to be in management level. Very impressed.

This is a hotel I would not stay in again. My family and I were here for a memorial and even tho they gave us a slight discount, the hospitality ended there. Out of 2/3 nights we were visiting this hotel we were charged for top shelf liquor even tho we never specified this. The last night we were there the blonde waitress with the large forehead was rude to us and tried to make my whole family leave at 9:45 pm even tho the sign outside the restaurant was LMS. Now getting to the actual hotel, even tho we were charged 200+ a night, we did not have any functioning air in our room the first night. When we expressed this to the staff, we received a lot of animosity and they gave use an extension chord to fix it ourself. My partner and I were also treated very rudely one evening when entering the hotel, though we were checked in, a male staff member told us that if our family members were not checked in before a certain time, their “revenue” would be ruined for the night (we were fully checked in by this point so this was VERY rude to us). Basically, if you can stay anywhere else in Long Beach, please do it.

NO NO NO!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! The rooms were definitely NOT like the photo's on the website. In fact, NOTHING was like the website!! We were woken up at 5am by LOUD voices, yelling..then banging on the doors saying to GET OUT!! Fire!!! I stayed there with my Husband, and my son, daughters in law and 2 grandchildren in another room, all scrambling to get out!! They fought us on getting our money refunded!!! NO MONEY REFUNDED!! We were left on the street, 4 adults and 2 young children at 6am!!! DISASTER!!! The place should burn down, so they can rebuild a better hotel.. the "element " was a bit undesirable also, service, front desk... a ZERO

Josh is a champion. My flight was delayed, delta put me in a room. Josh welcomes you in, tells you everything you need to know, including where you can redeem meal vouchers and what time to leave for your rescheduled flight. What the rooms lack in pizazz and cleanliness, josh makes up in personality

Stay far far away from this hotel. Walking into the hotel was like a horror movie. The hallways with a weird smell, a handprint in an old creaky elevator and paper thin walls that you can hear someone’s tv from the hallway. Walking into the rooms, the beds have navy blue sheets. Upon closer inspection the pillowcases were dirty with grease stains. We asked at the front desk for new sheets, but they never brought them to us. Unfortunately we couldn’t find an alternative place to stay and bought new sheets at Khols. We plan to leave them here. The bathrooms have mold, the walls are chipped, and you can hear the people in the room next to you because the walls are made of paper. We could hear zippers from suitcases opening in the room next to us, and people yelling in the hallways. The house next to the hotel had a floodlight which shone through the window all night. Kinda feels like you have roommates. If you have kids the windows open fully and do not have window guards. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. I dont think we could stay longer. Rooms are small. Very dirty. Shoes sticks to the floor when you walking. Night stand not working. AC doesnt have a remote or another way to adjust a temperature. Everything is so old including the elevator. Door to stairs was locked (when we decided not to use elevator). In case of fire there are no way to escape. And windows were locked with a metal brackets and screws, you can not open it.

Missed an international connection with united airlines. After waiting an hour and a half in the airport to have the agent provide a phone number for us to call to have our hotel arranged, we were given this hotel. After navigating JFK with a baby all night to find the “hotel shuttle pickup” Long Beach hotel shuttle was no where to be found. We called the hotel and they provided us with a number to call for our shuttle. I called the number and rude woman named “Kathy” told me her shuttle would come get us but we had to be at the departures in terminal F. We had to then navigate with our 3 suitcases, stroller, & car seat (me being a small framed woman, & traveling with my 1 year old son, and best friend, another woman) we finally made our way back to departures. It’s around 3 am at this point, and our driver starts to give us a hard time because we don’t have a voucher that American Airlines didn’t provide us because we had to deal with our situation over the phone. We argued about this for around 30-45 mins, to have the hotel manager tell him on the phone we will figure it out and settle at the hotel check in. The driver proceeds to call “Kathy” and she tells him without a voucher he cannot drive us, and to drop us off right where we were, in the middle of the night at 3 am in New York and it was “too bad for her” (me). Two women and a baby. Thankfully our driver had a conscious & morals and did not do this. We finally got to the hotel and the manager did not help the driver resolve any issues so I ended up paying him myself. The hotel is tiny and not good for anyone traveling with large or a lot of luggage. The room was small and old, the water pressure barely there. To top things off, someone tried entering our hotel room in the night, but thankfully I had the door latched. The door opened to where I could see light come in from the hall, I said “hello”, being half asleep not clueing in what was going on, and finally the door shut. This would have been around 4-5 am. Ended up ordering our own Uber back to JFK next morning to avoid dealing with any more shuttle issues.

DO NOT COME HERE. I was sent here by American Airlines and it wasn’t even worth coming. I walked into a luxurious looking lobby expecting really nice rooms for the night. WRONG! We checked in and went to our room coming to see things of disappointment. The A/C was on super cold and loud, the tv remote hat tape on the back to keep the battery’s in place, the ceiling looked like it was falling in some places, the room looked so unsanitary, and the floor was super loud when you stepped on it.

Zero stars. The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. A complete dump. My room had cockroaches on the floor and filthy white specs on the blankets. A complete dump. When trying to speak with a manager in person or over the phone, they are no where to be found. This place advertises nice rooms but gives you one that feels like you’re in a shoebox. Stay as far away from this hotel as possible.

Would have been better to have a shower with a tub. It was hard to get towels and little things at times since we didn’t do daily room service. The brand new staff in the afternoon shift Saturday 9/5 was super busy, yet was so sweet and helpful. The staff with here and the night shift were also great.

5 stars ... great experience.. I have been coming for the past 5 years at the Long Beach Hotel.. The staff is great, and very friendly .. The bar mixes the best drinks and they are delicious . The restaurant has great food at very reasonable prices ... The food is spectacular ... You must try the French fries! I got a chicken sandwich and French fries. Both incredible, love the sauce. Other than that the rooms were very clean and the staff did a great job accommodating us. The prices are very fair ... It is a great Boutique Hotel at the Beach and it is only 35 minutes from Manhattan and down the block from the beach ... I stayed with my family and everyone had a great time. One of the best vacations I Have ever been on. Love the hotel and will continue the tradition of coming with my family. 10/10 would recommend

Had a great stay at the Long Beach hotel. The staff is excellent. Had a great day went to the beach that was right down the street and relaxed there all day. The food is amazing, and had a great time at the bar. Stayed in a king room and had a great sleep. The room was very clean and I felt great the next morning. Can’t wait for next time.

We had our wedding block there, rehearsal, after party and brunch. The 3 events were great! Erica was so attentive and doing everything for us. The only issues we had was with the block of room, a lot of lack of communication and back and forth. But overall the rooms were very nice and clean, very cozy! We loved our stay there and all the events

We were there this weekend for a wedding, first if you try to make reservations during the weekend they NEVER answer the phone Once there the staff is not welcoming, the photographer came to see the groom snd they didn’t know who the groom was Then to top it off they charge me $75 for a personal pizza, a burrata that I never ordered and they claimed that I did and a hummus platter No wonder it has a 3 star review but it should be zero A lot of work to be done there they are lucky that it is a limit in the amount of resources around otherwise they will be close for business Shame on you for not having good customer service and a good working ethics

Quaint, clean, lovingly maintained by staff. Excellent customer service - Charlene made sure we had easily accessible rooms on the 1st floor (which is 1 flight up). Somehow our reservations had been canceled and she saved our weekend. Ariel helped me find wheelchair rentals. Andrew helped keep things cool. Great bar, too. Pretty room decor. Only one block from beach/boardwalk. We’d stay again.

We had to find a place to stay after a bad experience with an Airbnb. The Long Beach hotel had two nights available so we booked it. We had a fair amount of refrigerated food and they were nice enough to let us put our perishables (in a cooler) into their refrigerator. They couldn't have been nicer. The food at the restaurant was unexpectedly good. The drinks were generous and the bartender, Cara, was great. The clerks at the desk were helpful and accommodating and the owner of the hotel bent over backwards to make us happy, especially knowing the experience we just had. Rooms are very small and the bathrooms could use shelves or anything to give them counter space for products. Bed was comfortable. Overall our experience was good.

This hotel is exactly what you’d expect if you keep your expectations in check. It’s affordable for the location. The rooms are not updated, but they’re clean and the AC works well. Staff was pleasant and the lobby has a nice attached restaurant/ bar.

Delta airlines provided me with a voucher to stay here, after a couple delayed flights & a disastrous travel experience. Anyways, my review in no way reflects the staff; as both gentlemen I dealt with (one at check in, one at check out) were polite, helpful, and cheerful. No complaints there. The hotel itself, is subpar at best. It could really use a deep cleaning. The walls are scuffed, the carpet is filthy, and rooms are outdated. In fact, the floors sort of look like someone vomited on them (possible) and then were scrubbed out. The location is fine, it’s directly accross from the beach, as in, the beach is right on the other side of the road. I didn’t explore the area at all, but driving to and from the hotel, I noticed the buildings around it looked fine as well. I would not willingly spend my own money here, if I was ever in the area, just because of the general lack of cleanliness; but if you don’t mind and you’re looking for somewhere decent to stay for a night or two, this is it.

My friend and I stayed this past weekend. Food and drinks were terrible. The front desk staff overnight was creepy. Our room was so tiny we could barely walk and the AC did not work. The room smelled of cigarettes and musk and there were pieces of a broken light bulb on the ground. The front desk associate stated there was nothing he could do it would need to wait until morning. I have yet to hear back from a manager to rectify this issue and it have been almost a week. DO NOT RECOMMEND

BUYER BEWARE!!! Long Beach Hotel Fraudulent Credit Card Charges. Reserved this hotel in January for a February stay. Fully refundable, fully cancelable... They fraudulently charged my credit card 4 times for almost $2000. They said "we don't know why this happened" and refunded half the charges. We immediately canceled our reservation. As we've tried to get the rest of our money back, they first said "our system crashed and now we can't find any of the information." Their next excuse was that the hotel owner is in a dispute with their former credit card processing company and that processor won't give them any information. Have been fighting for well over a month trying to get the rest of our refund. Our credit card disputes department is also hitting a wall dealing with them. Book at your own risk! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I've been traveling many years and can say with no doubt that this was the worst hotel I have ever encountered. The rooms were tiny. The floors were not level. One day we went out all day and upon our arrival back at 9:00PM, the room was not made up and the wet towels were on the floor. The kids they have to work the desk are very polite but knew absolutely nothing. They say "you have to speak to the manager", but he was never around. If you come back to the hotel after 5PM, you could have to park 5 or six blocks away. No cups in the room and I had to put my head under the faucet to brush my teeth. My wife finally got to speak to the manager on our way out and was told to "get lost"

We enjoyed our stay very much! The room was small, but it was nice, clean and cozy. There is a bar / restaurant and they serve amazing hamburgers and fries. The bar had a good vibe filled with locals and vacationers. Will be back next season! :-)

horrible hotel. only thing going for it is the location. + bugs + rooms in neglect + leaky faucets + lacking basic necessities. I was charged a rate for a one night stay much higher than advertised online. I can accept mediocrity. what I can’t understand is a complete lack of effort, care, and general neglect for guests. cheap furniture, bedding, etc. this is a 2 star hotel, only by the most rose tinted estimation. our A/C and mini fridge worked. management, you can do so much better. for the $300+ I paid, I expect a certain level of quality. instead, this establishment is “well this beats sleeping in the park, i think”. once and never again. au revoir long beach hotel

Eddie couldn’t have been nicer, kind, polite and knowledgeable. Whatever you need, he found a way to help you. Can’t wait to taste the French toast and pancakes from the Bar and Grill. I’ve had a very enjoyable stay here.

I was booked into this hotel by United Airlines after missing international connection. Basically this hotel is very very old and basic and dont even have a coffee maker. it was very difficult to load the big suitcase into there elevator and carry to the room. I was asked to forward my reservation details to there personal email address to process the reservation. The reservation email from united also had two prepaid gift cards codes for meals. I did not realized when I forwarded the email. Next day I tried using the gift cards to pay for my breakfast at the airport but it was declined. I am not sure if the hotel redeemed the code or the gift card codes did not work. This hotel is far from JFK and united should have booked me at a better hotel nearby the airport with shuttle service.

Was so pleased at check in because I actually love staying in historic hotels. Loved the old elevator and the location ( one block from beach) Also appreciated the helpfulness/ friendliness of front desk Jessica . When I checked in the AC in my room did not work at all. The room was smoldering hot. Jessica changed rooms for me immediately. This is where the positivity ends. AC in new room did not work well either, still uncomfortably warm and continuously leaked water onto the bed. The TV / streaming service hardly ever worked and cut off in the middle of shows. I called downstairs and was told “ oh yes that is because it was raining today” Huh? The water pressure in the sink was low and the tub filled with water during shower. Hot water took an extensive amount of time to heat ( like 7-10 minutes) When I was downstairs making my tea another worker brought a guest spoiled milk for his coffee and he had to spit it out ! This would all be comical if we were not paying for it. The last straw was a roach crawling across the bathroom floor . I saw another one in the hallway. I packed my things and checked out early. When I went downstairs to complain and request a refund for my last night that I would not be staying for was given the run around and told the info would be given to the manager when he came in . I still haven’t heard anything. I was told by front desk that the manager “ is busy with meetings and he has other businesses “ Well , clearly his priorities are elsewhere. What a loser! This place could be so much more. David Kadosh you really should sell to someone who can give Long Beach the hotel it deserves

Just wanted to stop by and say a big thank you to Josh for making my stay that much better! He was so friendly at check in and really raised my spirits after a rough day. I was only expecting to stay for 1 night and ended up staying for 4 because of the hospitality and great room that felt more like an apartment! Thank you Josh for making me feel at home! I will DEFINITELY be coming back again soon :)
