VERY pretty right now. Incredibly green, birds everywhere, beautiful sunset. Great place for an evening walk.

Nice place for a short walk. To "go around" the pond, you end up on neighborhood streets for a part and can get back to the pond path from there. Ths Is it not a big place, but has nice little views and is good to just get out.

Beautiful spot for a sunset over the Rockies! Nice walk, just under a mile

Looking for the park that is the quintessence of parks? Tired of open spaces abounding in dog ship, hordes of people, well supplied in trash and needles? Seeking solitude and the ability to withdraw into seclusion? If I told you this were that park you just might visit. On that note, I'm going to tell you this is NOT that park, it's the absolute worst. And at $5 a gallon? Don't waste your gas... ;)

Short little jount. A mix of gravel and paved. My grandson is in a wheel chair and it was hard to see the pond, so the little walk outs are great!

Good place to enjoy some small wildlife, the area is fun to walk, but the path around the pond does not connect in a circle. It's not a bad thing, but someone might like ti know that.

It was nice. You can rent paddle boards and paddle around. Or just have a picnic.

So much wildlife here so observe! My kids and I loved walking around here. There is a small sand play area that is fun for littles.

Having visited this pond since I was a baby you can tell development has wanted to take as much away from this little piece of serenity for decades. But it still holds on. It’s one of the only places in Longmont that has a thriving yellow-headed blackbird population in the summer so it’s a little gem next to the larger Union Reservoir for birders. Lots of handicapped parking and a wheelchair-friendly paved walkway around half of the pond (albeit next to an ever-increasingly loud 17th and County Road 1. Hoping this place can hang on for the birds and for future Longmonsters so they can have the same memories of this place as I did when I was a kid.

3 ponds, 3 different experiences, very nice, clean, relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful scenery, nice people and friendly game warden. Have your fishing license with you.
