Sitting here in radiology, several traumas and ER visits were put before me. That makes sense and not a problem. I was sent here for internal bleeding and thought it was considered urgent, but again I am okay with waiting for trauma. What I am not okay with is that Meagan at the front desk in radiology is rude and condescending. I am in significant pain and a little scared, the least she could do is be polite. I am very sad that she feels empowered to treat others so poorly. Every phone call that comes in she talks down to the person on the other end. I feel sorry for her and the staff that has to work with her. I will send an update about the remaining of my visit.

If I could give a negative 20 stars I would. Longs Peak Hospital was highly recommended by my doctor's office. What a joke, and I will be telling my Doctor's office not to send people there. My daughter went into the ER because she had been experiencing severe pain that the symptoms lead to Appendicitis or Kidney Stones. She checked in then 2 other people checked in behind her. They took those two people before her. They said she didn't look like she was needing to be in the ER and those other people were worse off then she was. The security guard had more concern for my daughter than the medical staff. I told her to leave and go to another hospital. If she gets into a wreck or something happens to her medically, I will sue Longs Peak Hospital for treating her in an unprofessional manner.. If I could have been with her, I would have gone off for the ride treatment they gave her. I wil be putting this all over socal Media to let people know how badly they treat ER patients at this hospital . I even tried calling patient service ,it only goes to voice mail.

This place is a joke! My grandpa has been here for 7 days today and he is supposed to be having physical therapy everyday. The physical therapists doesn’t come and when they do they help him stand up and then sit him down and they are done. We have been asking for someone to help give him a bath and it was 5 days in at that point. When asked for someone to bathe him it was 7 hours later and after asking a third time for someone to help bathe him is finally when someone did. But the entire time they were giving attitude and being rude. My grandpa cannot walk cannot talk and cannot push the button for help so every 4 hours when someone checks on him that’s the only way they see anything and even then they don’t pay attention because my grandpa was on an IV for antibiotics and his arm was swelling up because his boy was rejecting it. They didn’t even notice it until I mentioned it to them. He lays in his own pee for hours and when they had him on a catheter he ripped it out and now he has a bacterial infection from his open wound and yeast infection because they won’t bathe him. THIS IS ELDER ABUSE AND NEGLECT.

Decent care during an ER visit. However, The insurance department is a complete failure, and UC Health as a whole should be embarrassed with how they do business. We have good insurance through my employer and UC Healthcare failed to bill correctly multiple times and now we have spent extra money out of pocket and tons of phone calls and time trying to sort out claims. Now even though we have paid $33K out of pocket (keep in mind a $7k out of pocket max per insurance) just so our son can get his diabetic supplies (so he doesn't die) we are still paying out of pocket because Cigna is saying UC health didnt bill correctly. We will never use a UC health facility again and will be contacting a lawyer to start the process of filing a lawsuit.

My boyfriend got checked in a little after 1 am due to sever pain in his chest following a motorcycle accident. As long as I was there 2 incredibly rude nurses came in making faces and asking him questions in a very condescending matter. After them the only two people we saw was the X-ray tech and the billing woman. Around 4 am he took off the blood pressure wrap and the heart thing they put on his finger and the machine beeped for a solid 5 minutes and no one came in. He called out "am I gonna see anyone?" and still. No one showed. 4:15 am we just walked out. And no one noticed. This hospital is a God damn joke. Edit: it is now 1 pm and he still hasn't gotten a call from the hospital.

Do no got here. I have had the botch steroid shot to my back causing a spinal leak. They shot patient up with Fentanyl in the waiting room while we waited with our 7 year old girl with a broken arm.. blood shot on the seat next me. Then on my third visit I was assaulted by security. They won't release the security footage. So they don't get sued. Worst hospital! very similar to longmont united.

I cannot brag enough about how good our experience was with labor and delivery and then on the maternity side too. EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE we encountered was so fantastic they treated me with such respect and compassion at a level I've never witnessed as a patient or even working in health care. The treatment was so thoughtful and patient focused I felt like my care plan was truly FOR ME and not just checking the boxes. I felt heard. I felt safe. That whole unit is angels. On top of everything the hospital is absolutely gorgeous, and well kept. Thankful everyday for what a gift that experience was with them and would recommend this hospital to all expecting mothers in the area.

Had both an OK then HORRIBLE experience with the Emergency Department the last few days. I took my husband in for intense stomach pains, vomiting, dehydration and induced anxiety. They treated him the first time, determined Gastritis and released within 2 hours. Later that night it continued and he hadn’t improved. I took him back and the attending nurse was horrible. After another 2 hrs they released him again. When I went to pick him up he still felt terrible, with awful stomach pains and unable to keep liquid nor food down for 36+ hrs. The attending nurse refused to re-admit him despite all this. He has a GI doctor at UC Health which is why we went to this hospital. They never called nor contacted the dr. His office even asked me this, as the dr was on-call the first night. We received no help or advice from his office, either, except to schedule a follow up appt. The dr wouldn’t even review his paperwork. After 48+ hrs, we decided to go to a different ER and hospital, Longmont United, hoping for the best. And some real medical care.

Longs Peak’sER is horrendous. Some of its drs esp dr C. I’ve been kept waiting over 2 hours, then given nothing for severe chronic back. pain I used to think Memorial was the worst hospital in Longmont. No longer. Of course, there are grand people like Corey. and most of the nurses, who are a credit to their profession Avoid this place if you want actual medical care!

Again- dangerous and negligent experience here has me speaking to lawyer. After several very rude and careless nurses (mostly Katherine) in previous experiences here made us wary of returning, now that have escalated to full scale willfully negligence actions. Calmly advocating for basic care had me banned form my fighters side for being disrespectful. My last one star review from yesterday has been taken down so I'm adding it back. Contacting lawyers this morning and filing grievances as well. They have failed to give my daughter her cardiac med yet again during her suicide watch and had caused her heart rate to soar into dangerous number. Avoid this ER AT ALL COSTS

I got billed after visiting a midwife at this location under poudre valley medical group. Which is not covered In my network even though longs peak hospital is. When I called the billing department as well as the front desk had zero sense of human decency or how to speak to people. When you hang up a call in tears over a simple question you know their management and service is bad. I LOVED my doctor and midwife but feeling very uncomfortable going here again after front office staff treatment.

We came in to the emergency room Sunday night, 4/30/23, because my partner was having a heart attack. Every single member of every single team that worked with him; from the amazing team that saved his life, to the ICU team, all the nurses and all the doctors were absolutely stellar in every respect. I felt a lot of love in that hospital from anybody I interacted with over the few days we were there. I couldn’t be more grateful.

I have been contracting for 2 months and I am in constant pain, your providers refuse to help me. It has been a huge fight to get them to schedule me an induction and even then I keep getting told that there is a good chance they will have to cancel it. I am constantly told that the contractions are normal and talked down to when I try to push back saying this is my second kid... this is not normal. When I went into the hospital yesterday for contractions at 5-1-1. I was told that they had not progressed me enough for anything and was sent home. Your team refused to help me with a membrane sweep or pitocin to help further the process given my immense and constant pain. Instead I was given sleeping pills and told to ignore the pain. I am getting a second opinion as this is not the way to treat patients and I am frankly defeated and worried for my health and the babies at the possibility of delivering with you. How I have been treated is why women have depression issues during and after birth, I have given birth before and loved it. This experience has left me depressed and frankly not allowed me to connect with my baby. Not to mention the bedside manner of all your providers has been terrible the whole time, I kept chalking it up to tired providers, but I am over it. When I interviewed your facility in Feb. I was told that you guys provided options that I have since been denied. Tell the truth about what you provide so we can find other care.

While in the ER, I found staff to be kind, but like any ER, the doctors were pretty dismissive of the fact that I was very not okay with the health symptoms I was experiencing and wanted to send me home because I was, well, breathing and conscious. After some advocating, they did end up hospitalizing me and once that happened I received excellent treatment. Doctors were kind and knowledgeable. Nurses and CNAs were incredibly helpful and caring. I discharged after a few days in better health and with a solid game-plan to move forward.

Family member hospitalized with chronic heart issues, COPD, infection in back and more. Upon admittance tested positive for Covid. Nothing done about issues he went in for. Suddenly without notice I get a call to come get him. Now. He’s handicapped and I can’t get him in and out of a car myself. They didn’t care one bit that I needed to get family to assist. So rude, uncaring, unprofessional. I would never recommend this horrible hospital to anyone.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the Dr was kind. The ER staff needs some serious bedside manner training. I get with Covid they are burnt out, but human beings deserve basic dignity and some form of kindness especially when they are experiencing one of their worst days. My family member was admitted by ambulance and the ER nurse was less than pleased to have to deal with us. She was rude and condescending. She didn’t take my family members hearing disability seriously and ignored me when I tried explaining. I’ve never felt like such a burden before. The worst part is her tone changed when the DR came in so she obviously knows it’s wrong and is capable of at least faking a professional tone.

I’m grateful for this hospital, its new equipment and all the attentive nurses. Especially grateful for Dr. Carter and for being there for me and using her medical skills for the major moments that I needed them. Everything has been perfect for my needs.

Absolutely the BEST staff!! They took such great care of me. I had to have two kidney stones removed and they made my experience as painless as possible! Everyone of the staff was so worried about me and was making sure I was comfortable! I can’t say enough great things about them!! Thank you so much for taking such great care of me!!

My Mom just completed an outpatient surgery here yesterday. She is elderly and was referred to a Doctor that is affiliated here. She is a retired BSN and has taken care of diabetic patients all her adult life with care and she was very happy with the care she received from her doctor and her nurse ( Jordan) at this hospital! I am grateful for the wonderful treatment she received.

Went in through the ER at midnight because my wife went into labor and we were immediately checked into the maternity ward. It was a three day ordeal, but everyone was fantastic. From all of the nurses to the pediatrician (Dr. Jesse Mortimer) and our amazing OB (Dr. Amy Johnson), everyone did what they could to accommodate and take care of us. I really want to give a shout-out to the nurses, though. All of them helped us out immensely getting our feet on the ground as first time parents with feeding, swaddling, changing diapers, sponge baths, and other things we just didn't know about! They all were truly amazing. (p.s. if you're ordering the hospital food, the personal pizza, burger + fries, and pancakes with hash browns are the best dishes to get.)

My experience at the ER of this uchealth was horrible, I have come here before and the er nurses always treat my daughter with no respect and no empathy at all, they make rude remarks and comments towards her and our family and have done it multiple times before, the charge nurse is very rude and on multiple occasions has made rude remarks towards my family, I would expect a emergency room/doctors office to at least have there employees trained in respect and kindness, kindness goes a long way and most of the nurses at this facility do not even try to be kind until a Dr. is in the room and even then they make very rude remarks. Don’t come to this uchealth and do not trust there emergency room with treating your loved ones cause they don’t have an actual care for them at all.

We had a great experience here when my 7yo son gashed his arm open and needed stitches. Dr Rickett, nurses, radiology team - all were amazing and handled everything really smoothly. My only reason for a 4 star rating - we went back for suture removal and were seen by a different ER doctor. My son has had previous ER experiences, and is pretty tough, behaves really well and does what the Drs request - but did ask a couple times what the suture removal would feel like and if it would hurt before he got started. The Dr literally said "let's just get it done, I have other people to help". I know this isn't a children's hospital, but just a little attention to patient management/bedside manner could go a long way. Other than that, great experience and I feel like he was very well cared for.

I was scheduled for surgery and waited for someone to contact me and let me know what time to arrive. The surgery had been scheduled over a month prior, and I was excited to finally have my procedure done. When no one called me by 3pm, I called the hospital to get my arrival time, only to be told that I was not on the surgical list and that they were fully booked. It seems there was another surgery inserted into my spot and I was bumped out! I was angry, terribly disappointed and heartbroken! What kind of hospital doesn't contact a patient? This is inexcusable! I would never trust this hospital again!

Shout out to Drs. James Doyle and Chen Kuei, and RN's Stacey, Stephanie and Zena in Surgical Ops for their great care! All of them showed great professionalism, likeable attitudes, and compassion. Outstanding team, and one of the best surgical " time outs " I have encountered. Thanks for everything. You're all a great asset to this community.

Have been there several times with various family members. Staff is always courteous and helpful, facility is up to date and very clean. I feel completely comfortable with trusting our medical care to them.
