It's the world's best home cooked meal that you will ever eat. Family owned and the most respected in East Texas. I would put them in top 3 in the country. If you don't believe me the Beef tips and rice I'd to die for. They have a excellent menu to choose from.

Heck yeah. Talk about some good home style cooking. Yes yes yes! Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and the food.... mmmm mmmm. This ain't your mommas cooking... this is your grandmommas cooking and let me tell you... you gonna wanna go back, again and again. Everything was delicious !

Tried to eat here twice. First time they were closed 30 mins before the actual closing time. Second time the door was locked but the inside was full of people. No one came to the door to open it so I just left. I try to support black owned businesses as much as possible but this level of service will not get this restaurant any further than East Texas.

Right when you walk in you are greeted with great hospitality, and it feels like family! The food is AMAZING, my favorite is Sunday special, that chicken n dressing!! THE BEST, pair it with a kool aid and the best german chocolate cake! 10/10 always!

Waste, fraud, and abuse. If you ever want to fleece the government ask this dump. They were contracted to feed 400+ soldiers breakfast and dinner. They repeatedly ran out of food, served unsustainable portions, and made others sick. This fleabag of a "catering" company maximized its profit at the expense of service members. Not only is this what I opened with, but this is also disgraceful. I'd give it negative stars if Google would allow it. One star is disrespectful to the worst cook you could think of. In response to the owner's reply, I got your email address off of the food truck that was parked outside the Dining Facility for two weeks. :(

They have very limited hours lately because Big Mama had health issues, but she still wants to continue to serve the community. The hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 6 days a week (closed Saturdays) and that's it. The best thing to do is get there early so you can get what you want because they do stop serving fried food just before closing and you're stuck with just whatever is left around. With that said, the food is absolutely amazing. The portions are generous and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing. You really feel like you're sitting at your granny's table on a Sunday afternoon enjoying some great home cooking. We had one plate with meatloaf macaroni and cheese and potatoes with gravy. The meatloaf and the potatoes and gravy were so delicious. The macaroni and cheese for me just wasn't what I enjoyed. It wasn't bad but it just something that I wouldn't order again. We also had a plate of chicken spaghetti with a side of purple hule peas and mac and cheese. This was husband approved and he loved everything about it. The third plate was chicken tenders with mac and cheese and french fries. This was definitely kid approved and very much enjoyed.

Best food in all of East Texas

I had the beef tips with cabbage and greens, hubby had the smothered chops with mashed potatoes and corn. All was delicious!!! We will be back!!

This place has become my favorite go-to place for soul food on Sundays. The chicken and dressing okra and greens were delicious, especially the banana pudding. The vibe here can be busy at times but that's to be expected. this restaurant reminds me of a gullah geechee restaurant back home. kinda wish they were listed on doordash. I would easily pay the difference just to have their food again so far the experience has been pleasant.

Best Soul Food Restaurant ever. The service is top notch and the food OMG IS DELICIOUS, you can't go wrong with anything you choose off the menu. The sweets, the Chocolate on Chocolate Cake is my favorite oooooweeee man. Please go by and get you a great meal ❤️❤️

You really can't find any better home style food than Divine! Whether chicken fried chicken, beef tips and rice, chicken spaghetti, or any number of delicious sides and desserts you will not be disappointed (or hungry!) when you leave. We are thankful for great food in a relaxed atmosphere so conveniently located!

I absolutely love Divine Catering. There are many places that cook this style of menu, but none do it as well as Divine. You can not go wrong with any of their dishes, sides, or desserts. Your best bet is to come often and try to eat your way through the menu...no kidding. The service is friendly and prompt, the food comes out quick and fresh, and you will never leave unhappy.

I enjoyed the smothered pork chops on last week so I wanted to eat there again today. I ordered the chicken and spaghetti for take out. The gentleman man who took our order and checked me out was very pleasant. When I returned to work and started eating, I told my boss that I only had two chunks of chicken in my dish. I respectfully called to report the issue, but it’s sad when you try to be nice you can’t receive a response in the spirit in which it was given.

The 2 times that I have been here have been equally fantastic. This is legit home-cooked food. Nothing I have had has been boxed prepackaged food. This is food like your mom or grandma would make. The service is great as well. The German Chocolate cake I had was freaking amazing. Looking forward to the next time I get to ear here. This is the best place to eat in Longview.

Superb Soul Food. Their chicken fried steak is sooo good. When they told me to get it I wasn’t sure cause everything looked amazing. Make sure to get the Kool-Aid unless you have diabetes then don’t. Their food is just genuinely good. Make sure to enjoy yourself and take your time eating.

First time here with my family and I can tell u this, this place brought back some memories I love homemade cooking and I must say this place is it , if u looking for some great homemade grandma cooking this Is it , everything was great and I will be visiting again.

Have tried multiple dishes and everything is superb. You can taste the homemade in every single bite. This is a family run operation and you can feel it as soon as you walk in the door.

Decided to try this place again after reading the article on Facebook . I once had their chicken spaghetti to go . I liked the chicken spaghetti but not their macaroni and cheese . The pepper was over kill. So today I tried their chicken fried chicken with mashed pot and gravy and corn . I requested the gravy on the side . The corn was canned as the mashed pot were instant . The fried chicken however was so dry I couldn’t even eat it . I left very with almost all my food .I figured since they won so many wards they had homemade food . That was not the case here . Instant food now get awards ? I’m kinda shocked . The corn bread was good the first time but this time was very dry . Can someone please tell me why does instant food get awards ? I was wanting home cooked meals instead I got hungry Jack . I mean I would have given them credit for the chicken fried chicken but the chicken was so dry . My hubby had fried cat fish he loved it and the tartar sauce he likes . So they do have some good options but don’t expect much of it to be homemade . Nice people actually really liked them . If your coming here try the chicken spaghetti’s or catfish .

Divine Catering catered to us at my job yesterday and WOW every single dish was amazing(usually out of that much food I'm not gonna like at least 1 dish BUT I loved every single dish you guys prepared and delivered to us!!! All my work buddies also loved all of the dishes as well..... You guy's brought it, lol.....(My favorite was the chicken spaghetti & Peach cobbler was to die for!!!)Thanks so much you guys it was mouth watering, awesome food!!!! I will tell everyone I know about y'all and how good y'all are.....
