Dirty rooms, low water pressure bathroom sink, musky smell, dirty bottles In shower. This is one of the more expensive hotels in the area and we were really dissatisfied. We were only offered excuses by the staff but no real apologies.

Over priced. They charge extra per vehicle for PARKING!! They charge extra for breakfast. 13$ for a not-good biscuits&gravy. Nice hotel but not worth all the added charges. never staying here again.

Let me edit my review now that I just checked my bank account. How on earth did my $115 room go up to $153.54?!?! That's just ridiculous! Husband and I just wanted a night away from the kids so we decided to spontaneously book a room from here from the next town over. The hotel itself was nice and clean as well as the rooms except our mini fridge never got cold in room 307 and someone had put a cigarette burn on the inside of the curtains. Dinner was amazing and on point. But breakfast....was ridiculous. $14 for the buffet that wasn't worth it. The 2 eggs, bacon and potatoes was quite pricy for $12 especially since the meat and potatoes, the waitress scooped onto our plates from the buffet. Dinner is definitely better than breakfast. Oh and the parking slip was a surprise the next morning when I noticed what it was. When we checked in, I thought she handed me the receipt with the room key and a bag of waters. It definitely wasn't the receipt and I'm glad our car didn't get towed away. All in all it was a wonderful night out.

Be aware this place charges $7 for parking and there isn't any signage of it! When did this become okay???? The pool was under renovation and there is no continental breakfast. I will never return to this place for I am not accustomed to this type of fee. I was afraid to fix the coffee in the room for fear of a fee. None of these things were online when I reserved the room. Nice hotel and rooms but not being told about these fees is unacceptable. I am going to contest the parking fee.

While the rooms were fine we booked one for my birthday weekend spent a couple hundred on swim suits got suited up to swim in the indoor pool and it was under construction.they should inform you if any of the extra curriculars such as gym or pool are out of order or atleast discount your rate. I was looking forward to a weekend of swimming with my kiddos. Plus they charge u seven dollars just to park ur car since when do u pay to park in a regular hotel parking lot ? Also they only had one working elevator so it took forever going up and down from the fifth floor!! But once they fix this I will change my rating if I go back πŸ€”

This is a lovely hotel from the outside looking i. We called and let front desk know we would be checking in around 2am when we arrived they had given our room away and got downgraded, after a 25 minute check in! Then the AC sounded like a dishwasher on the wash cycle, constantly! For 2 days! The pool is closed for construction but what I really didn't like was how breakfast and dinner were not explained to us. So we had no idea if the menu items would be charged to our room or what.. a room number was never asked for so who knows. But we only ate breakfast one out of the 2 mornings and skipped dinner there due to the inconvenience of having to go sit down and be waited on. (They're super busy and taked a minute for you to be acknowledged). The concept is thoughtful but very inconvenient if you're in hurry. For 1st time customers this should be explained!! I could tell 1st time customers because they was walking around looking confused (like me!) and asking for silverware and looking for a waffle maker lol(you have to order a waffle @$11.00) Other than that, the room was super clean, bed was soft, feathers pillows I do not like, but I knew this ahead of time so I brought my own from home, shower pressure was great but the sink water pressure was barely there. And the staff seemed helpful and friendly... Overall, I'd give this a hotel a 2/5 stars. Not worth $160+ a night, to me. (Had a much better stay a month ago a few miles away at Homewood Suites by Hilton)

Watch out they will charge you for parking without letting you know upfront also they hand you a paper bag with two water bottle and a piece of paper, once to the car I realize it's a parking tag and they forgot to mention about parking fee when I am check in, found out later when get back home I am been charge 7+tax for parking. Also their staff not really helpful in the morning when we check out. we have little more than carry on item and can't find the cart and hotel staff just sorry they don't know where the cart is and not going to bother to help us looking for it and went back to playing with her phone.

The location of this hotel is wonderful! It is near the mall, several restaurants and it is very quiet at night. The lobby area and bar/restaurant were very clean. The front desk staff, Kodda, was extremely kind and very helpful. I have not had customer service like that in a long time. It was refreshing to be greeted with a smile and a very pleasant attitude! The entire staff that I interacted with were very nice. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. If I travel to Longview again, I will definitely be staying here. Thank you Longview Hilton Garden Inn staff for a wonderful overnight stay!

Our family was there for our Grandfather's 104 yr old celebration of life! We were welcomed with incredible service. Stand out staff including Warren ( who gave us sage advice on local restaurants ) even though his cooking was far from subpar!!!! Stacey and Andrea were both busy with Holiday parties on both nights , but we're cool under pressure and graciously served us even as we closed down the bar both nights we were there! We would come back for the staff alone!

Now charging for parking. Self parking in an uncovered lot without gates or security of any kind. You can see two other Hilton properties from your room to choose for your next visit that has free parking. It’s is newer than most but charging for parking makes the decision easy to go somewhere else.

Hilton is normally where I stay when away for work. This is the first time with my Hilton Honors that I felt reaped over the coals. They quoted $129 and charged over 180. This is completely garbage as it's a lower end Hilton and in the middle of literally no where tx. The taxes and fees should be quoted and whoever designed the $7 parking rip off scam should be fired. This isn't Dallas where parking is difficult, we are in the middle of nowhere. I'll stay at competitors next time I'm here. If you don't want nickel and dimes to death I'd recommend you do the same.

The hotel itself is nice, nice beds, clean rooms. The staff, esp the front desk staff and more importantly the front desk female manager - well lets just say customer service and level of politeness could stand a lot of improvement. She was incredibly rude to me when I called to discuss my room rate charged. I am a LIFETIME Diamond Hilton member which would indicate my level of loyalty, however I will NOT be staying with this HGI simply due to the rudeness of the staff. HGI should be better than this.

Full stars! Greatly recommended! As soon as we got there we could get a room booked. Complimentary breakfast, and coffee. Clean rooms, bathrooms, and lobby. Beds are comfy and clean. The Friday 9pm receptionist was so kind to us. The hotel is also right down the road from he best taco place I've ever been to, as well as a really nice breakfast place.

The staff at the desk were nice and polite. The rooms were neat and we checked in late night. The rooms were neat but could look better when we are paying about $150 a night. Applaud them for using a bigger refillable bottles for shampoo, soap, lotion.πŸ‘

It was really nice, the people working there were incredibly nice and it was really great that you can eat downstairs in the lobby.

The hotel and my stay were fine - uneventful which is always good. The reason for the poor rating is due to the 'customer service' I received. As a Diamond member, there is $10 food and beverage credit. I had breakfast and when this credit wasn't applied, I called the hotel. The woman was fine, not exceptionally nice but she said she'd adjust the bill and send a new receipt. After not receiving a new receipt, I called the next day. As I explained the situation, she cut me off, jumped in with the room number (I guess she was the one I spoke to the day before), said she'd send it again, and hung up. Clearly phone etiquette is not one of her strengths.

This is a nice hotel but there is a major issue. Do not charge parking where cars are not protected from the elements. Employee told me they use third party company to monitor hence the charge. Well, this is cost of doing business or if they must, how about reflecting that on the rates instead of putting your front desk in this awkward situation? They tell you of this nonsense after booking. Same with pool closure. Bait and switch!!!!!! I really despise being hustled. Great hotel, very clean, sweet front desk people. This message is for the owner….. listen to the guests or ignore at your own peril.

Staff is not up to Hilton standards. Generally rude, bordering on passive aggressive. If I’m paying to park, I don’t think asking where would be most convenient to park for my room is too much to ask. The joke of sending us to the opposite end of the hotel was a good one. Rare that a Hilton property allows employees to act like this. Initially refused to provide the GM’s contact info as well. Really disappointing experience thus far. Do better, Hilton.

What a pleasant stay! Thank you Hilton for a great room. Nice employees who seem very willing to help. And a well maintained room with great modern amenities. The bed was a great sleep and kept me a little longer than I wanted, LOL! The breakfast was more than I expected. The added benefit of ordering something was a nice touch. The location is easy to find and in a busier part of town. Which translated into a quick dinner run to some nice restaurants. Thank you Hilton!

Horrible experience and the rooms are small, the air conditioning barely worked. Some of the staff were rude or maybe over worked i don't know, but that was second time staying there and both were bad experiences. This hotel is not worth what they charge.

This hotel is nice but all floors are engineered hardwood and you can hear everything! Including what people are doing next door and conversations people are having across the hall, doors closing throughout the night. If you stay here, bring ear plugs and sound machines. I’m a heavy sleepover and got about 2 hours of sleep.

Hotel was clean and quiet even though a large wedding party was celebrating there. Check-in and breakfast staff were efficient and personable. The most basic breakfast they offered was $ 10, usually free at similar hotels. The free hotel wi-fi was more like slow-fi and would not load anything more than basic messages, or course the hotel offered better wi-fi if you payed for it.Almost forgot to mention the ridiculous bathroom sliding door that never quite closed.

Service was great. Room for the most part was ok. Stayed twice this week and in both rooms furniture was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Couch and chairs had spots and could use some attention.

Beautiful hotel lobby. The staff is amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious. Bed was comfortable but the chair in the room seems like it was picked for decor factor and not for comfort. Overall, a marvelous visit.
