Good food, good drinks, very reasonably priced even if it wasn't your only choice in the area. Had maybe one of the most blissful afternoons of my life there - after a 9 mile winter hike, we stopped there for a beer. They had a fire going along with a Christmas lights. We sat around the fire, had a beer, pet the cats, and had maybe the most perfect end to a hike I've ever had.

After 30 minutes of twist and turns around the scenic mountain drive, your hiking journey begins at Adams Pack Station. The station offers supplies and helpful guides about the various trails and camping grounds in the area. People are down-to-earth and friendly to talk to. Make sure you have $5 in cash for parking just in case the station is closed. I have been coming here with family and friends over the years and have enjoyed every moment of it. Enjoy the hike and don't forget to check out the beautiful Sturtevant Falls!

After doing the Sturtevant Falls hike, we stopped by the pack station and hydrated. They have some souvenirs, notably patches, map bandanas, and t-shirts. Prices are as you’d expect at a tourist destination, but the service was very homey and personalized. They also have a super friendly cat!

Love this place! Great food and music on the weekends, as well as ice cold water for after your hike! Don't forget to pet the goats and bring $5 cash for parking!

Historic pack mule station in Chantry Flats serving cabins in the local foothills. Did weekend music and food venues when the road was still open . Beautiful area to visit when Chantry opens again.

A very cool remnant of old California! This is a great and friendly spot to stop for some warm food and cold beer after a hike.
