Had a great experience at CrossFit horsepower. I'm not a crossfitter, I'm normally a 24 hr fitness guy but I think I've been converted. The workout was an hour long and all levels of fitness and age are welcome. One guy there lost 70 lbs. If you are familiar with CrossFit already you will love this place if you aren't familiar or maybe have limited to no workout experience, I highly recommend this place and workout. Each person goes at their own pace and because I was new I was encouraged to start really light until Im more comfortable with the workouts. There were no egos, just good people getting their workout on! Staff was super helpful and provided excellent coaching and encouragement. Thanks Dan and team!

Dropped in from Sacramento and had a great workout with my girlfriend! Was greeted as soon as I walked in, and had a friendly conversation with the coaches and front desk attendant! The gym had a very welcoming environment, with a bunch of happy people getting their workout in! Will definitely be back when I’m in the Los Angeles area again! Thank you CrossFit Horsepower!

I can honestly say that walking into Horsepower CrossFit three months ago was one of the best things of 2013! I can't say enough positive things about this place! Thanks to the staff and coaches, who are nothing short of wonderful, you will find yourself getting one of the best workouts of your life. The classes are rigorous and challenging, and will leave you with an amazing sense of accomplishment, not to mention improved strength, stamina, energy, overall fitness, and an amazing serotonin high. There is a real family atmosphere at Horsepower. Coaches and athletes alike are welcoming and encouraging. I always feel safe under the watchful guidance of the coaches who will push me to get the most out of my workout in a healthy and secure I have always had lower back pain but thanks to all the core strengthening that comes with CrossFit, it has all but disappeared. Horsepower is truly a special place that gives so much joy to my spirit as well as my physical body. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel better and improve his or her quality of life.

I have always worked out, on my own, tried different classes and gyms, worked out with the personal trainer, but CrossFit Horsepower beats them all. I could not be happier. Signing up with this gym, was a great decision! 1. Brand new facility. 2. Great, positive, friendly atmosphere. 3. Inspiring people around. 4. Dans' (owner of the gym) devotion to make facility and work out experience better every day. 5. Great trainers. If you are one of those people who wants to make a change in your life, but never had enough will power to do it. This place is for you! It is ADDICTING, MOTIVATING and ENCOURAGING!

The BEST coaches Clean and open gym Gorgeous showers/changing rooms Competitive atmosphere, but in a friendly, encouraging way To elaborate on the coaches--they actually pay attention to what you're doing. They want your form to be correct, and they want you to work hard. Memberships might seem pricey, but not if you consider the fact that you're basically getting a personal trainer.

Visiting w wife from Florida. Very welcoming. Friendly members and staff. Seems well balanced between competitive xfit and lifestyle. If I lived here, would join.

I just finished my first month here so I suppose it's time to leave a review. At first it was super intimidating seeing so many fit people running down Ventura but I figured why not! Once I got in I realized that people are all different ages and fitness levels- TG! :) Aside from the fact that this place super high end with awesome equipment, the entire staff is fantastic! Dan, Mer, Hayley, Shaun, Rachel... All of them bring unique perspectives and make working out so much FUN! I'm so excited for the year ahead- I've only lost 7 lbs so far, but I feel so much stronger, and more energetic!! Anyhow, 5 stars easy. Happy this CrossFit gym is in Studio City :)

Beautiful facility! Everything is top-notch across the board. Brand new equipment, beautiful showers and changing rooms. And it's so much more fun than working out in a typical gym! The workout is different each day, the coaches are excellent, and the community of people really make for a fantastic environment. Oh- this CrossFit Studio City location is also really convenient- plenty of parking in lot and on Ventura Blvd. Best part is I'm seeing real results. It's been a month, and not only have I lost 4 lbs, but I feel so much stronger!

I love this gym, and community! The members are amazing, the coaches are great, and the space is awesome. I can’t recommend it enough! Looking forward to many more workouts!
