What a fantastic experience for our family! Adam was a wonderful teacher, guide, and educator. My husband, daughter, and I all learned new information about birds and raptors and getting to fly two gorgeous hawks as part of our “Double Trouble” experience was an exhilarating start to our New Year. What a great start to 2024 - our whole family outside to do something new together. I highly recommend Adam and Hawk On Hand and we look forward to doing this again!

We had an amazing experience with Adam. He is so knowledgeable and carefully explains the art of falconry to you. We met an owl and two falcons. We had the opportunity to have the birds fly to us. It was breathtaking to see such magnificent birds up close. Adam takes pictures with his camera and sends them to you. He also patiently answered all my questions about the birds and his vocation. This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! The birds are absolutely incredible and Adam is so knowledgeable. You can really tell how much he loves and respects them. They are clearly very well cared for and I loved getting to interact with these incredible creatures. We did this as a family outing and all of us absolutely loved it. I definitely recommend everyone have this experience. You won't regret it!

This was a birthday surprise for my son. My grandsons came also. It was so fun and amazing. Adam explained about the birds, how to handle them etc. he was so informative and u could tell he loved them. The birds were beautiful. and we all felt very safe but also in awe!!

dam was a great host - our group learned a lot about his birds and falconry, and the majority of the time was spent on interactions with the birds. We got to fly three different birds - all had their own personalities. The booked time flew by really fast. I can't recommended this enough for anyone wanting a very unique and hands on experience!

Adam is an amazing falconer! Meeting Jasper (Harris Hawk) and Kanoni(African Augur Buzzard) was an incredible experience. The rush of feeling the bird land on the glove is something else! The encounter was a lot of fun and very informative learning about the hobby and the animals themselves. Would recommend anyone who is interested in birds of prey to give this a try!

Adam provided a great history of the falconry sport, and shared plenty of knowledge of his birds, their habits, the training process and other very useful info. Great learning experience. We had fun handling the birds also.

We had a great on hand learning experience. We were introduced to 2 hawks and an owl. We were able to handle and feed one hawk and the owl. Adam was very informative and experienced. He answered all our questions, he took great photos and was professional. My son and his girlfriend recommended the experience. I felt safe and comfortable. I highly recommend this event for a great outdoor experience with nature.

This is the best falconry experience in Southern California. My family has been to others and this one is by far the best. You get a private experience with the birds that is unforgettable and pictures to capture the personal moments. Adam is a great educator and is passionate about sharing information about the different species to enhance the experience. The birds are gorgeous and it is awesome to interact with them up close and personal. Though we loved all the birds, Archie, the Barn Owl was our favorite. Beautiful, majestic, and such a sweetie. If you want to experience falconry at its best, look no further. This is the place to be.

This was a fabulous experience from start to finish. We were able to experience 3 different birds up close. Having them fly to me was wonderful! We learned about falconry, and about the behavior of each species. It was really great to get to experience this in Los Angeles.

Hawk on Hand is awesome. It's such an educational and unique experience. We met 3 of Adam's birds (hawk, falcon, and a barn owl). We learned about falconry and got to feed the birds. It doesn't sound like much until you see the hawk spread its wings and fly towards you. It lands smoothly but you can definitely feel its force and strength. My husband loves hawks and loved every minute of this.

We had an unforgettable experience with Adam and his birds. It solidified my son’s desire to be a falconer when he grows up. We had a harrowing experience with a wild red tailed hawk eyeing his still in-training owl Archie that Adam calmly handled. It was a great learning experience about the risks with falconry. My son is asking to do this again for his birthday and wants Adam to be his falconry mentor when he turns 12 :-)) Thank you!

This was such a once in a lifetime experience! Adam was so knowledgeable and he really makes it an interactive and fun learning experience. The birds each have their own unique personalities and it was so special getting to interact with each of them. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend it, especially if you love birds.

I arranged this for my wife's birthday and it did not disappoint! We all had a great time and the birds were beautiful and rather charming, I must say. My personal favorite was Jasper the Harris's Hawk, who seemed rather cat-like in his personality. Well worth the dough for this educational and unique experience.

Adam did an incredible job with his 3 beautiful assistants at the Eugene Debs park! I went to see him with a Son in law and 3 of my Grandchildren. His 3 birds were magnificent. Handling them carefully with his careful training and assistance was easy and great fun. A super learning experience for all of us. If you are excited by nature, put this on your bucket list of things to do!

This was great. We flew a Barn Owl, Harris Hawk, and Augur Buzzard. Very different weights and personalities. Even with 6 of us we all had plenty of time with each bird. Adam is extremely knowledgeable and provided a lot of great information about Falconry and the birds. Highly recommended. This was at Debs Park.

Definitely do this! Our group of six flew three different birds, Archie the Barn Owl, Jasper the Harris's Hawk, and Kanoni the African Auger Buzzard. It's a rare treat to interact this closely with raptors, each with their own personality and unique traits. Our host, Adam has an extensive knowledge base, if you've got questions, he's got answers. And he's fun! He gave us some background on each bird and shared some of his experiences being a falconer in Southern California. I gained new insights and had a great time. This was truly a marvelous experience, one that I will always treasure!

We had the best time learning about owls and hawks from Adam, and we loved our experience of flying two hawks and one Barn owl. Adam has a lovely demeanor and knows so much about falconry. It was an experience we will always remember. We each got time to have hands on experience with his gorgeous birds. We all want to do another falconry lesson again with Adam. It was extraordinary!

We had a multi-generation family group, from 2 to 72, who participated in this awesome experience of meeting and observing these beautiful predators. Loved every minute.

As a Christmas gift for our family I booked one of the falconry experiences with HawkOnHand….and am so glad I did. We had a really fantastic time and created lifelong memories while doing so. Having a chance to fly the birds and witness their intelligence and agility up close was magical. All of that is made possible because of Adam.
