It's an easy peasy hike but unlike the east coast...trail markers do not seem to be a common thing out west. If you're checking out the cave, head to the left at the first junction. If you want to hit castle peak, head to the right. You can a hit of elevation on this relatively short hike. The steep climb down from castle peak may be a challenge for some. The cave is very cool and worth exploring.

It's great, easy to get to and a fairly mellow trail. I love these urban wildernesses all around the Valley.

Breathtaking scenery, mountains and wildflowers all along the trail. Despite my 80 years, I tackled the walk and loved it. Great place for photos, too.

Beautiful place to connect with nature. It connects with victory trailhead. It's massive! People bike, people hike, people take in all the greenery and sights. You can get a pretty decent view of the valley if you climb up the mountains!
