It was a FUN experience even if as the Happy Place and the Ice Cream Museum it was crowded. PRO: They let you go back!!!!!! Even if you go in an another room to take pictures, you can go back in the previous one when there aren't many people which was a good thing because in the end people understand that and there is less chaos All the rooms are Painted! Those were not just props but real painters by artists. You can RENT a tripod which I did and I don't reccomend because it is a pain to take along

We were already having a good time but then Tim, a worker/photographer came by and just elevated our experience! He made us really have some fun in the upside down house!! This place is worth it, if you have an imagination. After only getting a couple minutes with Tim, I wish I would have had a photographer the whole time. The photos are amazing!

As an LA native in her 20s, here’s my honest opinion. I’ve driven by this place many a time but never bit the bullet and went in until the other day. $30 entry with about 15 or so illusions to photograph with. We finished in about 30 minutes. They had helpful markings on the ground so you knew how to best position your camera for framing. Some illusions were missing this feature, so you had to figure it out. As far as accessibility, I’d rate it about a 2/5 considering There are about 5 illusions upstairs with no elevator access and there’s no way for a wheelchair to enter the “box room”. Though grossly overpriced and somewhat underwhelming for an adult; I imagine this would be lots of fun for a kid especially on a visit to LA. My honest advice: don’t carve out time/budget specifically to come here. If you’re in the area, however, sure… stop in.

Great place to take perfect to photos for whatever occasion. Fantastic for all of the ages. The employees are respectful and knowledgeable. It seems tough, but not impossible to get great shots without someone not being in the shot. While they can supply a tripod to help, I recommend a photographer supplied by the location to get a quick guided photography session. They are well versed on locations and positions to be in. We enjoyed our session with Riel. He was professional, and had great ideas for our family.

I really enjoyed this place. It's a really fun place to take some cool pictures. I do wish the price of the tickets were a bit lower. I think it's a little pricey, but overall it was really fun and I enjoyed it.

Visited this place yesterday with my kids. Definitely not worth the hype. People are pretty inconsiderate of others. Especially the ones that bring their tri pod set ups. They basically take over the whole sections so you can't even use the section next to them. I wouldn't waste your money. This is most definitely not a museum either. Just different illusions on the walls. There are better places to spend your money.

I surprised my husband for his birthday but decided to get the VIP package and I’m so GLAD I did. Not only did we cut the line but our photographer David was so so amazing. Without David, we would have not had the AMAZING photos videos and the BEST time!!!!! Hands down if it wasn’t for David our photographer our photos wouldn’t have been as cool as us trying to guess what to do as far as poses. Thank you so much for making our time incredible! Would highly recommend David as your photographer and do the VIP you won’t regret it one bit. He made our day ! We also smashed plates after & that was cool. Also I appreciate my videos taken on my phone for added memories!

It was a fun experience. We took lots of pictures! The only thing was that it was super HOT! It’s not completely a closed building the front is open so the ac does not refresh the whole place. Another sweet thing is each picture has a floor indicator to snap the perfect picture at the perfect angle Overall fun!

It has like 5 to 7 rooms to take a pic. You only have 4 mins per room to take a pic. So you have to think fast on what pose you will be doing. Better bring a tripod or you can rent a tripod for $10.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the World of Illusions museum in Los Angeles, and I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by one of their employees, Tim. From the moment we entered the upside down house, this employee went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was unforgettable. Their photography ideas were truly remarkable. They had an incredible eye for capturing the illusions and creating stunning visual compositions. Their suggestions for poses and angles resulted in some truly unique and captivating photographs. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to capture memories that will last a lifetime. What impressed me the most was their patience and kindess. As first-timers in LA and Hollywood, Tim went beyond their role by providing us with additional recommendations for exploring Los Angeles as first-timers. They shared valuable insights, suggested must-visit landmarks, and even recommended some local hidden gems. Their genuine passion for their city and desire to make our visit memorable were evident throughout our interaction. Overall, I cannot commend Tim enough for their exceptional service, photography ideas, and their attentiveness to our needs as first-time visitors. Their commitment to ensuring a delightful experience truly made our visit to the World of Illusions museum and our time in Los Angeles unforgettable. I highly recommend seeking out their assistance when you visit the museum; you won't be disappointed. Thank you to the entire team at World of Illusions, and a special thanks to this exceptional employee, Tim, for their outstanding service.

Pretty cool experience, they offer tripods so you can take pics of yourself/be your own photographer. There are also camera indicators on the ground that show you exactly where to place the tripod and examples on the wall that show where to stand/pose to capture the pic at the perfect angle. Results in some cool pics! Just wish the prices were a bit lower, but they’re understandable.

Visited LA for a concert & couldn’t miss out the chance to check out this 3D Illusion museum! I booked the Silver VIP package that included 2 experiences of your choice & a personal photographer that uses a professional camera, as well as your cell phone, to snap pics! My daughter & I had the pleasure of having David snap our pics. He.. Was.. Awesome!! He explained each illusion to us before we snapped it up, helped us out w/poses, & had a friendly & welcoming attitude! David & this Illusion Museum were definitely a vibe! Highly recommend!

Cool place, we had so much fun, I even didn’t expect that. My kid 3 years old was so excited, mostly he liked room with all big items. I want to say big thanks for supervisor Nadia, she was so nice and helped us, she explained us everything, how to make pictures, where are examples. We definitely come back with our friends to have fun together!

Nice place for a 45-60 adventure. Creative and a lot of fan. I think tickets should be a little lower, but other than that, is a fun place to visit.

My time spent at World of Illusion Los Angeles was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the freedom to explore the various attractions at our own pace. Not only that, but the opportunity to capture stunning photos added an extra layer of enjoyment to our overall experience.

We visited on a Saturday. We had to purchase our tickets in person because the website wouldn't allow us to purchase general admission tickets online. Honestly the way that we were given the runaround to buy tickets online, we came to the conclusion that the difficulty was deliberate. We tried on a mobile phone, on a laptop and even on a tablet with no luck. Of course the discount code for tickets was only redeemable online smh. We explained to the employee about our failed attempts to purchase tickets online but she didn't really seem interested. So we ended up paying regular price which even at a discounted rate this museum was over priced in my opinion. The place is very small and can get crowded. You can barely take a picture because there's literally someone waiting to take a picture right after you. I live in Los Angeles so maybe someone from out of town would find this place more exciting because we sure didn't. If you can't buy tickets online at a discounted price then I'd advise you to skip this museum. The only reason that I even gave it three stars is because my two children enjoyed taking pictures but they weren't the ones that paid so...🤷🏽‍♀️

Ima start by saying I'm usually kinda cheap and the tickets at 30 dollars was just fine for the level of good time I had. There was a good amount of people but everyone took turns helped eachother get the best angles. The photographers walk around helping even taking a photo or two for us. Spent a good hour and 10 minutes ish. Inside took way more photos then I can post. Just great time.

We have some fun going here at this area yesterday. I think the ticket price is just fine at 30 dollars for the adult if you enjoy the social media posting. You have to have a creative mind to put yourself in the picture to enjoy the 3D illusion and try to find the sample picture posted on the walls as well. Not too busy yesterday, but need to be patience when some visitors cannot find the right angle on how they will take a perfect picture. So, you need to wait for your turn. Overall visit is just fine and no hassle.

WORST THING EVER! $220 for 4 people, WAY OVERPRICED . The “illusions” weren’t even that great, small cramped spaces, missing props, and the art scratched and beaten . The upside down room was just 5 very small rooms with barely any photo ops, and you have to rotate your own photos which means you can do this absolutely anywhere else instead of paying $30 . The giant room was okay but barely had anything to do NO AC, THE STAFF DO NOT CARE, TOO MANY PEOPLE, NO ONE IS WEARING MASKS

Very crowded at times. A bit pricey for what it is. If you have the money, I'd say get the camera tour. Did get some fun pictures that I've been enjoying showing off.

This place was awesome the only complaint I have is it’s EXTREMELY HOT 🥵on the second level.

  • 3/5 Kee Kee M. 9 months ago on Google
Would of been a better experience if they would hire photographers that WE as customers can pay extra for to get all the right angles and pictures to bring out the full illusion! I notice A lot people had a hard time figuring it out...and some pics dnt look the same as the examples they provide because the paintings need a little touch up or we didnt know how to angle it to look the same.

This was clearly a tourist trap kind of place. It's just a few rooms with some pretty rinky-dink perspective paintings. The kids had fun, but adults shouldn't bother.

Fun little stop. My girl's did the upside one. I think you get to choose from 3 to 4 different areas. The cost i thought was a bit pricey. I would recommend getting the stand for additional price. We had a lot of fun taking different silly pictures.

So fun! Self led photo worthy adventure! The place was full of places to go and take pics. And the price for one museum wasn't bad. We even paid for tickets online and there was a discount via their website. But this is cool for all the family!!

Great spot for some fun theatrics & pro- picture taking with your iPhone. For sure rent the tripod. We'll worth the $10. Also Riel is a super helpful attendant & knows his way around the scenes for some great shots. IMO this is not for little kids. Should be 8 or older to really have fun & if they can use an iPhone it would be a bonus. If you can, bring a couple of props. They have some but I had a hat & scarf & it helped to switch things up a little. The music can help you with getting into the scene or drive you nuts - up to you! Reasonably clean open space, bathrooms were very clean. Friendly quick service on Thursday Noon Visit. We loved it. And thank you Riel.

IT WAS SO FUN!!! The paintings on the walls were literally amazing, even though it wasn’t cheap I think it was worth it. We had so much fun taking pictures and being in the upside down house and giants house!

Went to World of illusions today for my birthday thank you to Sehun for an amazing experience! Big smile on his face the whole time and was so nice to us. He helped us out the entire time took all of our pictures and even helped us with poses. He demonstrated what to do and gave feed back for good pics for my mom and I thank you so much to him!

Was a fun place to take pics. Some of the backgrounds are too close or have outlets showing but with a little extra editing can come out really good. Will definitely bring any out of state visitors here.

This was honestly such a fun experience. Our photographer, Tim was super creative and funny! The whole staff was super sweet and helpful too. I do recommend bringing your own tripod if you own one, if not you can rent one for $10.
