Highly recommend this attraction. Very informative. Also, there are some nice surprises that happen during the ride.

The studio tour is informative and interesting. The special effects from the king king and fast and the furious components are interesting, but I’d rather them talk about the making of them opposed to the acting and show they put on. It’s also unfortunate that there is no place you can get off the tram or visit a sound stage. So it’s an interesting tour, but there is still room for some improvement. However you do see various movie sites and props (though the tour of wisteria lane seems a little outdated).

Originally I wasn’t going to take the studio tour. But my friends wanted to so I tagged along. So glad I did! It was a really great trolly ride through so many different movie & tv sets. The 3D interactive rides were pretty impressive. Overall, it was a great way to end our day at the park. The line was long (30 min wait) but it was constantly moving, so the wait didn’t feel that long. You’re also welcome to bring drinks with you and there’s a drink cart at the top of the escalator.

The studio tour is always a must ride when visiting the park. You get to step into the movies and view some locations from your favorite times in cinema. It would be a 10/10 if it weren’t for some lackluster points of the tour such as the fast a furious section. Still though I can see myself going on here several times

There are so many fun little sightings on this tour, as well as showcasing some very cool special effects! The flash flood demonstration, the subway earthquake, and the Skull Island segments are really the most hands on aspects of the tour, but I personally love seeing all the set houses and cars. If you're lucky, you may even get to peek into one of the active sets if the sound stage doors are open!

So much fun and interesting too! Really neat to see the outdoor set pieces and neighborhood they use in television and movies. The stops here and there that are more of an experience were kind of neat like Fast and Furious and the subway that collapses. Added bonus, there was a wild coyote that showed up to greet us on the tour!

The iconic tour! No matter who you get as your tour guide it will be an epic experience. Seeing all the cool places they actually film in plus the "movie magic" is amazing! Wasn't lucky to run into anyone famous but still made our visit awesome! I'd say to me the best seats were the front row second car to get the best vantage point and experience!

Fun experience! The app is helpful to figure out how to navigate around. It would be helpful if it was interactive so you knew right where you were (like google maps). Cletus chicken was not delicious at all, wish we tried somewhere else. The butter beers were better than expected. Definitely go on the studio tours you wont regret it.

I can’t say about the regular tour, but the private VIP tour was amazing! Our guide led us through pit stops in stages and buildings while telling us of dozens of movies, shows, and people in the history of the studios! Even the full tour didn’t seem like enough, and our Bro-guide was happy to tend to our every need.

Loved our time at Universal Studios. The parking was excellent, a bit expensive for $50 but we were close to the entrance. The park was clean, loved the location and the views, the escalators were fun, the varieties of food venues were impressive but super expensive, saw dressed characters walking around, Harry Potter land was the best, lots of rides, numerous souvenir stores, the studio tour was excellent and our day was thrilling. I would highly recommend Universal Studios. So much to see and do. It's also right next to Universal City Walk. Suggestion, try the Butter Beer at Harry Potter Land. My six year old Grandson suggested this. It was worth $8 a drink. I look forward to going back soon.

It's fun. Many lights, images, and cool views. Be prepared to walk, and walk, and walk. Lotsa walking. Many areas to explore. Lots of cool retailing. I wish there were more centralized maps to guide you on where to go or what's in a given direction. I feel I missed out on places to explore with so many directional choices to take. You need 4-8 hours to fully explore the campus. You must have a clear direction or intention to see a show or dine, or you won't have enough time to see as much as you hoped you could see. Make sure you buy your parking pass and entry in advance. I'll be back again.

In 2006, we did a one-hour Universal Studio Tour ride here. The vehicle offered good visibility, both sides were windowless. Screens hung from the ceiling of the bus. They showed film excerpts of the scenery that had just been driven past. The guide gave suitable explanations via loudspeaker. We saw short shows e.g. with great white sharks, earthquakes, floods and other things. Recommended.

The rides were great! And so much to see. The ticket people encouraged us to upgrade our tickets for the fast ride lines but we picked not too. We still ended up doing the whole park and all the rides without upgrading

The BEST part of the whole Universal Studios experience. Make sure you get on this ride. It's an hour wait normally and the ride also takes about an hour so plan accordingly. I'd suggest using the restroom right before riding. I rode on a somewhat cold day, the wind in the ride made it EXTRA cold. You might want to bring a jacket if it's a little chilly out.

This is a must see for anyone that is a fan of movies 🎬 Getting to go behind the scenes and learning about how some of your favorite movies were made is so fun. The 3D experience of Kong and Fast and The Furious are amazing. Honestly, though just the history of movies and being there at the studios where legends have filmed is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I loved it sooo much FUN! I recommend being there for 2 days is a lot of walking and the lines are long to get on the rides. 2 days so that you can do upper level first 2nd day do lower level and take your time at the park. We are planning to go again in a couple of years😁

I’d be more excited if it were not for the row we were sitting in the bus 😖 The front row of the second bus right after the main one is the worst seat you can have. We had to breathe in all the gases produced by the bus (the Park should definitely consider electric buses, we are in XXI century in the most developed country of the world) and the noice the engine was making didn’t allow us to hear anything the guide was telling 😟 watch the videos. The most impressive part of the the tour is 3D experience and an airplane crush scene 👍🏻

This was our very favorite ride. It was amazing to see where so many movies have been made and how they can transform something so simple into something so amazing. Aside from a super fun ride, you also get to yake a break from waiting in lines and rest your legs.

Awesome host. Would not recommend going on a weekend. Too many people. Wait times were 3 hours. We went in July so it doesn't help that it was summer and all kids were on vacation. Overall it was a beautiful place .

Never gets old although it hasn't changed much since I was here last, about 8 years ago. This was the first time for my teenagers who also found it fun and educational. Believe it or not the time spent waiting in was fun. The kids got to learn a little about movies from the past that they never seen before and are looking forward to seeing.

I took the tour with the VIP experience and it was one of the best tours ever. Our guide was very professional, funny and knowledgeable. The food was perfect all day (breakfast and lunch) and the VIP express skipping lines feature is the best. We visited all major attractions one one day. The Transformer and Harry Potter rides were the best ones.

The quick access pass is a must!!! Totally worth the extra 200 .... new colors new new attractions. I didn't notice a big difference between their preferred parking and regular parking but it was only $12 ... One unpleasant incident: Their cashier Ana at Mama Luigis declined twice to scan my platinum pass and apply a discount (Passes above gold get a discount) on my $39 order and she over charged me on the cheese pizzas...( as pepperoni )

This is a classic attraction ride at Universal Studios. It's suitable for all ages since you just sit in a open tour tram and go around the area. It does not have AC so hopefully the breeze will help keep you cool during the 30 min or so tour ride. The Kong vs dinosaur, earthquake, jaw and fast & furious attraction are good. Sometime you might see actors or extras when driving around the studio area. When we went, they were setting up the psycho area for Halloween so you didn't get to see a actor put a body in the car and try to scare you.

Always a great ride/break from all the running around. Angel was our tour guide during our day visit to the parking. She was amazing! Very entertaining and informative...I absolutely loved the horror nights tram. It was my favorite Halloween attraction. They did a 'Purge' theme and we actually got to get off the tram and walk around. It's was a great subversive experience. I highly recommend going during Halloween!

I've always loved this tour. The only thing missing is the old King Kong. Shame he was destroyed in that fire. The new Kong portion of the tour is cool but doesn't have the same wow factor at least in my opinion anyway. Guess maybe I'm just old school like that. 👍

The studio tour is the first ride you want to get on to while visiting. It's an hour long and has three rides and two smaller attractions. The left side is where most of the action is, but the right side has some cool views too.

The tram ride is always fun and most of the stuff is the same there is always something different depending on your tram guide. Yesterday we went a bit of a different way and saw a few sets pieces we haven't seen since pre Covid. I think the tram route changed because of Horror Nights builds and filming but we got to drive by the Universal Monsters mural which we haven't seen up close. We opt out for the 3D glasses, they trigger my migraines but it is still a fun experience. Some parts there is a lot of movement back and forth and you will get wet but overall the tram ride is very relaxing and to s of fun! Don't go to Universal without hoping on. It truly is movie magic!

Universal Studios is definitely a more chill theme park compared to others. With the season pass, I can take my time and never feel rushed. It's great to be able to enjoy the rides and attractions without feeling like I have to cram everything in. Plus, being able to get home in just a few minutes is a huge bonus. I absolutely love it!

My favorite part of the park/rides. Recognizing some of the sets was very cool, along with the destroyed Boeing. Drawbacks were the guy in front of me who basically refused to wear his mask, and I thought it was a little loud. That being said my sensitivity to sound is considered by my friends to be a personal problem.

  • 4/5 Mahalia B. 2 years ago on Google
Tour guide was fun and kept the entire tour peppy. The sites and information shared was pretty cool and the two 3D experiences were a great added kick to the tour. Just wish they could find a way to enforce the mask wearing policy.

Really awesome with some cool surprises too! Got to learn about how the movies are filmed and see some of the film locations outside as well. Great ride!

Easily the best part of universal studios Hollywood. Don't miss out on this cool experience seeing the different studios and film sets of popular movies. It's a nice little break from the rides. Definitely recommend.

That is why i came to universal from WNY, its really cool and best thing to do it once u walk in as wait time is short in the early morning and the ride is 2 hours long

I like this ride. It is an 1 hour long but it goes by fast. The line went by quickly. Our host was funny. We saw a popular actor. We went through King Kong, earthquake, and fast and furious. We saw cars from movies. We went through a city. It was nice. We also went through Jaws. I didn't get wet but I did on king Kong. I haven't been on it since 2012.

Glad we did the studio tour. It was a thrill in itself. The guides did well at explaining stuff and pointing out the details. It was so fun to get some behind the scenes info.

So fun! 😊 Amazing day. If you are vegetarian or vegan bring stuff with you. Which I will do next time we go. Found a fruit cup at the bistro. Everyone had a great day. I here down at the lower level they have salads. We didn't make it down to that part of the park. So I will update next time I go.😊

The one and only world famous tour of an active working movie studio. The tour has two flavors, standard and vip. The standard tour allows you to see most of the sights of the studio along with several ride sections. The vip tour includes more stops, and you are able to get off the tour buss at certain stops to see some of the sets close up. When you are up close, you can see how the set makers use tricks to make things look real. This tour also includes great guides who give you more details about the sets and the studio itself. Ask for Taylor, and he is the best vip guide.

A bus take you to have a overview of the Studio. It was great and see will see lots of the specific themes through this bus tour. I visited it in July 2013.
