Cool shops. *PARKING TIP: general parking is $32. Buy a cheap movie ticket at AMC for $13. Total cost is $45 They give you $27 back in cash !! Parking costs only $18 by doing this if you DON'T want to see the movie. Donate (pay it forward) by giving someone the movie ticket.* Please like this review if it's helpful.

Pretty cool entertainment area with lots of eateries & sweet spots and a movie theater. Parking at the lowest is $30 & is a little hike to get from the garage to the walk. (Best bet is to take the elevator to get down faster than the escalators take you.) A few of the restuarants were closed & there were no performances or anything special going on. We went on a Thursday so maybe that's why. All in all it's a nice spot to hang out if you don't mind spending so much for parking.

Super cool place to go shopping at. There some really good food places here and the atmosphere is great! The lines can be pretty long to get food but you an find somewhere that's pretty short. Beware, when the park is opening, this place is REALLY crowded. If you're coming here for lunch, know that some of these places aren't open until later in the day, there were multiple places closed at noon when we went to eat.

I love strolling down CityWalk. Restaurants, shops, huge decorations (the iconic King Kong!), and seeing all the kids running around the splash pad area makes it a welcome treat before entering the park. I've eaten at several of the restaurants here and they never disappoint. Of course, the price can be a bit of sticker shock, since it's part of a theme park in the middle of Los Angeles, but if you can afford it, I really recommend checking out some of the places to eat!

I love CityWalk just as much as I do the main theme park. It's simply one of the safest and best places to shop, eat, mingle, and enjoy with your family. The bright lights, the jumbo screen filled with music videos and event previews. All of the shops and restaurants, especially the Universal Studios themed production shops, are all enticing and visually appealing. Things From Another World, in particular, is a standout for a comic book fan like myself, but everything just stands out as pristine, well managed, and uniquely tailored towards having a good time. I would recommend Universal CityWalk for both a family outing as well as a intimate date night out. CityWalk remains one of the best kept secrets in L.A. I strongly recommend it!

I really recommended getting the Express ticket, saves you hours! The shows are amazing, plenty of restaurants, I recommend watching the water show, get the Harry potter rides and make sure you go downstairs for the Jurassic Park experience as well as the universal Hollywood tour. It’s a mind blowing experience, definitely had so much fun

This place is hopping at night! Lots of shops and amazing restaurants for the choosing. We took a late night stroll through the City Walk Hollywood to see it lit up at night. Super fun and safe environment. Extremely clean and lots of options for everyone. A great mix of high to low end restaurants to choose from.

Always a nice place to eat and stroll around with friends and family. Not much crowd during New Year’s Eve. Watched the fireworks. Expected $20 for parking but $30… for few hours , didn’t expect that.

Everything is so pretty but however my experience & other family members was that the rides could make you nauseated also too much waiting in lines there is not enough time to try other rides & for me later on after going to bed I woke up with a headache at 4am which I haven't had in a long time but that's my opinion & experience other people that were there seemed to have enjoyed it. 🫶🙏🫶

You can enjoy the diverse themes and attractions of Universal Studio. but there are a lot of people. So, you should wait for a long time to try attractions. I recommend standing in line to single ride. this can save your time even though you can't ride attractions with your group.

A busy place with a variety of stores, restaurants and entertainment options. It has a theatre (AMC), a lot of restaurants, amazing assortment of stores. In many aspects it is better than the Disneyland downtown district and provides with a cleaner and organized experience. Parking is expensive at $30(in 2023), but that seems to he normal now. There is live music during weekends. Attracts a lot of trendy crowd especially due to this being the path to Universal Studios but even in general it has a very active crowd.

I have been coming to Universal City Walk ever since it opened. Lately, it's not what it used to be because of the lockdowns. LA has not been the hot spot it used to be before the pandemic. There's still a lot of people, but not as much as before. Nonetheless, everything is kept nice and there is a security/police presence which allows people to feel safe.

The day we went here was probably one of the most fun days that I have had here in Los Angeles! The vibe just makes you feel like a kid again and there are so many cool stores and places to take pictures! Even a wall that had angel wings painted... so cool! The food was great the clothes are great and I would definitely reccomend coming here with kids or if you are a kid at heart like me :)

Shops and entertainment are located just outside the main entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood. There are plenty of food options, gift shops, and a movie theater. There's parking for as little as $10. So after the theme park closes, you can keep the party going till at least 10 PM.

I like walking around, but because some of the restaurants and shops close/change so often, it always seems like if you liked something a few months ago, it's gone now. Good meals and snacks though for the restaurants that are still there. But it won't take long to walk through everything.

Pretty cool experience. There are tons of nice decorations and a few good restaurants. There are many shops that mostly sell the same merchandise as the actual park. However I’m not sure if there are cheap parking options nearby. $30 bucks universal studio parking is too much for this. Parking gets less expensive in the evening though.

Iconic theme park that isn't really that expensive. You're able to enter City Walk for free but if you drive here there is a parking fee which I believe is $20. All the attractions are worth it but it's also a great place to just walk around!

I went in the evening without buying a pass to the actual park and it was amazing! Lights, lights, lights galore! We also caught some fireworks that were being set off in the park. I drove and it only cost $10 for all day parking. Would recommend!

Fantastic place to hangout with friends for a drink or two. There was a lot of nice shops for drinks, coffee and food. Easy to reach by car, and public transport as the metro is just down the road. I absolutely enjoyed my visit and I do recommend anyone visiting LA to pop by and see it! Not to mention about the incredible views of LA surroundings from there! Just Fab!

Try to be there in the evening so you may enjoy some live performances and the street lights. They have some amazing shops and food court. You may also enjoy movie in AMC. So if you don’t want to get into the actual park you can visit this place. This place has indoor skydiving, so please check their slots availability. It’s a open place so NO ENTRY FEES

I visited this park when I was young, too many years ago for me to admit to, and I loved it then, and I definitely love it now. It cost a bit but it is definitely worth a visit if you can manage the 110 or so dollars to pay for general admission. A great place to bring your family, just be sure to arrive early so you will have time to do see and do everything you want to. The wait times are always going to be long. But other than that downside it is still a great place to visit. Highly recommend.

Amazing and so much bigger than I had thought! We went in the afternoon and the evening. Beautiful lights, so much to see. Many great places to eat. We had a Jamba Juice. Delicious and healthy, but pricey as always.

Great place for a family day. You can find something for everyone from shopping to entertainment. What ever you want to eat they have it. And if your feeling real adventurous you can visit the Universal Studios theme park.

It's was okay, the only problem that I always see is that the time to wait in line is ridiculous specially for kids. 2 hours in line or 3 depending on the ride. The waiting time that shows on each ride is not accurate. You spend more time than the one is showing. If you enter to 5 rides you are lucky. You should get there as soon as they open otherwise, good luck. They should check the limited capacity so everyone can enjoy the rides specially the Kids. KIDS always complain for it. If you don't want to deal with it, buy the fast pass. I guess that is the main reason why universal does that, so they can sales their fast passes. 🤷‍♂️ I went on a weekend, so I guess was a wrong selection to visit the park. I think is better during weekdays less crowded

I wouldn't recommend going here on holidays because of the hours of waiting you have to do but overall it's a great place to spend money for fun ☺️ 👍

This City Walk is undeniably one of the most stunning places I've ever laid eyes upon. The vibrant lights, captivating colors, and bustling stores create an enchanting atmosphere, particularly at night. During our visit on November 14, we were greeted by a magnificent Christmas tree that stood tall and adorned the surroundings with its beauty. One of the highlights was an interactive area where colorful water sprouted from the ground, providing endless fun for kids to splash around and play. After an exhilarating day at Universal Studios, taking a leisurely walk here was incredibly refreshing. It was a perfect way to unwind and soak in the breathtaking views, allowing us to fully appreciate the city's charm even after a long and tiring day at the theme park.

What a great place to visit. Even if you aren't entering into the Universal Park the Walk is worth checking out. Loads of shopping with memorabilia that will bring a smile to your face. Every detail was well thought out and there is so much to see and try to place the movie it is from.

They have added some really fun shops and dining to the City Walk! Haven't been here in a while. Wish I had more time to walk around and explore! We were able to visit the Chocolate Emporium though. O.m.g. so yummy, unique and just fun! We got multiple truffles to test and some fudge. Highly recommended! And the cinema has reclining seats! A great movie experience!

Although I could not enter the park, I had a great time in this road. I came here from Japan. I thought tha type of goods like souvenirs is a little bit different. Especially, My friend and I was excited seing a shop that sells lots of posters and figures because we could find rare posters. We bought two and brought them back to Japan safely!!(But i forgot taking a picture of the shop cause we were excited!!!)

This really is a great walk ! They have really adorable shops like Mario world and its sugar . They also have a really neat karma and luck shop with great jewelry and stones etc. They also have Nectar which is a customizable bath ahoo where you can mix and match fun smells to your favorite items like bath bombs and body butter. They also have a brand new authentic celebrity shop with signed celebrity props and things. I think adding a little more extra seating around would be nice !

It's basically an outdoor mall with a few niche stores/attractions. Parking is 30 dollars before 5 pm or 10 dollars after 5 pm. Bit pricy. If you watch a movie, you can 25 dollars back. Just make sure to get it from the box office by ahowing your parking receipt when you get your ticket. The food court has food you can get elsewhere so nothing special there. Some of the restaurants are not as common so that's nice. Bubba Gump is always a good choice. I wanted to try the toothsome chocolate emporium and savory feast experience bit aftsr watching Oppenheimer I didn't want to wait 30+ min to get a table then order, then wait for the food. Maybe next time. Voodoo Doughnut is great if you have a sweet tooth, lots of sugar. The Universal Cinema has a true IMAX screen and not some screen designed to fit in a remodeled theater like most IMAX offerings are today. It is also only one of 30 that are showing Oppenheimer in the original 70mm film via projector. Overall CityWalk is ok a few times a year just not a regular place to visit due to parking price and what is available to do here versus what one can elsewhere with free parking.

Great place for kids! Bring a backpack with lots of water/Gatorade and a change of clothes for the kids. The place lights up at night! Great music all around.

  • 3/5 Glenda S. 1 year ago on Google
Only 3 stars, although a great experience for kids it's not worth the wait times, parking, and admission prices. Then if you want to beat the wait times their response is to pay even more ridiculous prices. I only went for half a day but my advice is to plan in advance to stay close by take the shuttle get the 3 day tickets on Groupon or LApass.

  • 5/5 ANDREA D. 9 months ago on Google
Great place to come and hang out. A lot of great places to eat and shop. Great place to watch a game while you enjoy a bite and a drink. If it’s hot, the kids can cool down in the water feature they have. Fun for everyone!!

  • 4/5 Marla M. 1 year ago on Google
Universal City Walk is a nice place for walking around, there is a food court, restaurants, movie theaters, unique shops, Super Mario store, candy stores, and Universal Store. The parking is extremely overpriced at $30 (general parking). If you are adventurous and don't mind using public transportation, the B Line(formally known as the Red Metro line) has a stop to Universal City. Then, you will need to cross the street and there is a Universal tram stop that drops you off at City Walk.
