Great hotel, free gated parking, beds were decent, great for the price in the area. We stayed in a double full-bed room. Everything a friend and I needed. Double sinks, fridge, TV, desk, two night stands, personal safe. Loved the room. Lobby was welcoming, except the front desk wasn’t around for check-in. The put a sign saying they’d be back at 9:25, and didn’t come back until 9:55. Would absolutely stay again, and think that the check-in was a fluke. Update: I wrote this review the night before we checked out. Photos were of the day we checked in. SECONDS after posting my review, my friend said he found a roach in the bathroom. Yup. There it was. Photo and video for proof. Staff came up and dispatched it. Only saw one. But we shouldn’t have seen any… Overall, for the price we paid, and the location, it would have been a 5 star. Removed a star for the single roach we saw, and the odd check-in.

This property exceeded my expectations. It was a relatively inexpensive property that has the benefit of on-site gated parking. To be clear, it is the opposite of a luxury property, just a basic place but for me conveniently located in k-town. There is a 24-hour Denny's nearby, a pizza joint on site, and not much in the form of amenities. On the other hand, it was not too expensive, the staff was competent which is saying a lot these days, water pressure was good, and the room I had was clean and quite spacious, although definitely dates to the late '70s or early '80s for example with those old fan forced heating units by the window.

Chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Wiltern Theater. The rooms are nice and quiet but surprisingly the beds are incredibly comfortable and very easy to fall asleep in. Would definitely recommend and will stay at again if down for a concert

I just came home after staying 13 days at Ramada for my first holiday in LA. At first I was a bit sceptical since I'm used to fancier hotels, but I must admit Ramada was absolutely fantastic and the rooms & staff were so lovely ❤️🙏 The location is literally perfect, right next to busses and metro that goes to entire LA, to which you can get an unlimited metro/bus pass for only 10 dollars. Furthermore the area feels SO SAFE, not a single day did i feel threatened and there was barely any noise, which is so unusual for LA since its normally noisy with homeless/crazies most places. So overall a great experience and I will definitely be back the next time I am in LA. Thank you for the perfect hotel for my 2 weeks in LA !! 🥰

This has been my go-to hotel in LA for 7 years and I've yet to have a single negative experience here. Clean rooms, friendly service, shockingly quiet and an absolutely fantastic pizza joint attached to the lobby. Quick Uber to downtown or Hollywood for a night out. If you're looking for clean, comfy, safe and affordable, this place is really hard to beat in LA.

I was worried from the 1 star experience reviews since I booked it in November for NYE experience with my family. Thankfully, our experience was good! They have a small parking garage next to the front desk with a guard. Check in was easy. Our room had 2 double bed and thank goodness there wasn't any bed bugs. To be honest, for the price (130+ per night), the place needs some renovating. I'm sure you can find a cheaper hotel elsewhere if you really looked. The building does feel old. There were bleached spots on the carpet in the hallway, our bathroom sink paint was peeling, carpet could use a deep clean/vacuum and it smelled decent. Luckily I bring incense/room sprays with me so our room smelled really nice and comforting. I don't think they should be charging more than 100+ for what they were providing (no breakfast either). But the place was convenient and not too far from where we traveled. Venice Beach, Hollywood, Little Tokyo and Downtown. Plenty of food options either walking or driving distance. Everything worked properly in our room. But for some reason I can't use our room phone to call the front desk and there wasn't any instructions either.

The rooms seriously need to be upgraded!! The bathroom is very outdated. The toilet had the sanitary sticker on it but when I lifted the lid there was pee/toilet paper that hadn’t been flushed. That to me says the room was not properly cleaned. I did not feel comfortable staying the two nights we had booked. We ended up leaving shortly after checking in and booking elsewhere.

Pros: + No issues checking in/out + Room was spacious. + Free parking is a plus. + Staff friendly + Fridge + Price Mediocre: Weird lay out of the building: two separate elevators that go to different parts of the building depending on your room number. Not a negative thing, just weird. Cons: - Security issue. Anybody can walk into the building from the open parking garage, anyone can access the elevators and go to the floors where people reside. You don't have to stop by the front desk to take the elevator. Elevators have no security measure, which there should be (such as tapping your room key to verify you're a resident as an example), so ANYONE literally anyone, can walk in. I've seen bums outside the hotel, they can probably enter too. - Room is very outdated. Barely outlets. TV didn't work half the time. Lights provided by lamps that you have to turn a dial maybe 720 degrees to turn off the lamp, turning the knob doesn't even dim the lamp. So weird, there should just be a switch for on/off. - Requested room with 2 queen beds, but I believe they were 2 full beds. Fortunately individuals in my party of 4 were on the smaller size - Ice machine did not work. Only redeeming thing is the free parking really, and large rooms.

It's pretty dated, but functional. Best part was secure free parking. But the furniture is vintage 70s.

The shower took forever to get warm but the free parking and location made up for it. Ktown owns and the covered parking means we left our car alone for the weekend and took public transportation. Awesome food nearby. Room was clean. Get the king suite on the corner 311 or 411

What’s great? The location, free gated parking, the water doesn’t take forever to heat up anymore as mentioned in other people’s reviews, and the bed is pretty comfy. What’s bad? Walls and or the ceiling are pretty thin. Unless you’re on the top floor, you’re going to hear every step they take above you and maybe even every breath they make. If you can sleep through noise then lucky you it’s a non issue for you. Most of the staff seem nice. As I exited the room, someone from house cleaning just looked at me briefly no welcome or good morning but only that one person and no issue with everyone else. Maybe they had a rough time the night before but a hello would’ve been nice. The decor and etc are outdated yes but for me being out and about it didn’t matter too much. New stuff would be great but if the costs can stay down and they just keep things that aren’t broken, I’m fine with that. If they do upgrade anything, I’d recommend cheap adapters that can reach the bed or replace the lamps that have outlets and or usb ports built in. There are outlets on both sides of the bed but if you have a standard length cable you can’t reach your phone. Not a huge dealbreaker but either bring a longer cable if you need to charge and use your phone on the bed. The building is separated into two structures but you can access both via elevators from the parking garage. You’ll need to pull in the ramp in front of the hotel or park on the street temporarily to check in and get the garage code and parking pass. It’s not a huge garage but there extra empty spaces throughout the day and evening when we stayed. Other than that, everything in the room works. The shampoo container they provided had one of the hardest lids to open. For some reason the conditioner was easy to open but not the shampoo. Maybe a defect but I’ve never had to put that much effort into a hotel shampoo bottle. It’s not a tall structure so the view from the room isn’t that great. The curtains block a decent amount of light but it’s just one set of curtains and there’s no privacy curtain behind it. It would be nice to let some light in but anyone in the building across the hotel can look in. Would I stay here again? Sure maybe not my first pick but I wouldn’t be against coming back here. The rate was ok. I booked this a little last minute and everything else in the area was just way too much without that much added benefit. If you consider the rate just including what the parking would be anyway, it’s a good value.

There were bugs in the elevator, the hall carpet was damp and smelled weird, the actual bedsheets in the room were stained and ripped. Both mattresses were stained. When I first called for new sheets, reception told me they'd send someone up, then reception called me back and said housekeeping had all gone for the day. The fridge didn't feel very cold on the highest setting. Air condition was off so the room was hot, and air unit took forever to get cold. The bathtub had stains on it. Reception said I might be eligible for a refund, when I hadn't brought it up, then said I wasn't, which unfairly got my hopes up.

Really nice and quiet place. Very clean room. Nice staff. Not to many amenities, but great location, lots of places to dine in walking distance, and not to far from any destination in L.A area.

This was a good hotel close to downtown., the staff was friendly., the rooms were clean. Not exactly four seasons., but we slept well. Everything worked. Free parking. Overall a good stay., I would not mind bringing my family back here. Looking forward to coming back to this city to enjoy some of the events that are here.

While this hotel is very conveniently located, I do not recommend at all. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude, the whole place smells gross, stains EVERYWHERE, trash left over from previous occupants. A blood stain on the side of one of our mattresses. Torn bedding, and disgusting pillows. The shower is also very gross. The whole place needs a lot of help. I won't ever come back here.

Needs renovation but it's a clean affordable hotel right in the middle of Koreatown. The shower was wonderful. Also, in the parking lot behind the hotel is an all you can eat sushi and BBQ spot. Serves as an afterhours spot on the late night. Very cool.

This hotel provided everything we needed during our stay. Gated parking was a plus. The rooms were pretty basic and the location was convenient for food. We forgot a few things in the room and the hotel worked with us to mail them back to us, which was really nice.

For what it is, this hotel is good value. Free parking, and the rooms are large and clean. Close to the metro, shops, and restaurants. Nice staff too

My god.. the wifi in this hotel is actual garbage. A tribe located deep in the amazon probably has better wifi than this hotel. I’ve spend over half an our trying to get to google review and post this, it’s crazy how bad it is. Room is old but decent and clean, parking is pretty nice. Not worth the 130 dollars per night.

3 🌟 star hotel at best. Fridge in room but no microwave in room. Decent room size, remodeled rooms with old repainted furniture. Clean elevator and lobby was a plus.

I actually had a great experience. The room was very clean, front desk and cleaning ladies had excellent service. For it to be a budget hotel, it was worth it. The restaurant was pretty chill as well. We had a festival at the Dodgers stadium and we're only about 17mins away. Totally worth the stay. I just wished the shower didn't splatter water all over. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place. But be prepared to have almost $500 on you if u choose to spend 2 nights there. Staff was nice and everything worked perfect. Pricey, but great price compared to other hotels in that same location with worse service. 5 stars!

The hotel was not bad but, for the cost, I was expecting a bit more. It is located close to the Wiltern Theater, which is a plus. The rooms were clean but still needed some updates, like electrical outlets that will hold a power cord. For almost $170 per night, I was just expecting the place to be nicer.

  • 3/5 Annie W. 1 year ago on Google
An okay short-stay location for the pricing. Pros: - convenient free onsite parking - good location surrounded by food - 1 minute walk to the Wiltern - working AC and refrigerator - working shower and toilet Cons: - dirty bedsheets and stained pillowcases - bathroom sink was slightly clogged - not enough conveniently located outlets - shower water temperatures were inconsistent Although the bedsheets were dirty, the comforter/blankets were fine. Working AC is always a plus. Very walkable to different shops and restaurants around. For the price, it's decent enough for a rest stop in-between outings or sleep.

This was not a fun place to stay. We were looking for something close to the fashion district, and this wasn't too far. We were there near the end of June and the rooms were like an oven. Even with the portable AC units in the rooms it was so hot. The room was decently clean. The mattress was hard. It was all tile, no carpet. We only stayed one night and were glad we weren't staying longer.

This hotel was best hotel in my recent LA travel in June. Of course, all Waldorf Astoria hotels and Andaz have a great impressions to my family with their service and fancy facilities, but the service of this hotel hit my memory and ranking. The hotel staff (sorry to forget his name) had a lot of effort to find my wedding rings that I left at the hotel. He keep communicated with me via email, and eventually I am able to receive my ring. Thank you so much for your effort and saving my life (from…:) ) In terms of other factors, I agree several comments about old facilities and not fancy, but actually was better than my expectations. Especially, family trip with children, microwave and bathtub were really helpful. Also, the location is exceptionally convenient if you plans to enjoy the Korean town (especially for food and drink).

Love all the Ramada hotels. This one was also great. Nice clean rooms, comfy beds, spacious rooms. Lots of parking. Friendly service too. Will come by next time!

The hotel location is very convenient to regular transit. You can take your choice of frequent bus options on Wilshire or Western. The Metro "D" Line Purple station is a 5 minute walk. Plenty of choices nearby for food and drinks. The room is adequate for the price paid.

Hotel at a low price! I was overjoyed to find a reasonable-priced room. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious and relaxing. I've never stayed in such a hotel before. They have excellent customer service and follow high ethical expectations. A genuinely unique and powerful experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,

Room was very noticeably sloped towards the inside of the building. I could not put the soap on its ledge in the shower because it would slide off. I think the whole top floor might have been like this. Room was very dated. Bed was firm. pillows were nice.

Booked this last weekend and had a good stay. The elevator to the hotel floors has an outdoor elevator that literally anyone could enter, which was a little concerning. They have free 2 parking garages, one is an open entrance parking section (which has a security guard watch at night) and the other is their underground which needs a code to enter. Personally, I preferred parking in the underground garage. The room was your typical hotel room, the bed sheets could be better as it looked dirty, but you could tell it was just stains that wouldn’t go away upon closer inspection. The rooms do not have a microwave FYI and outlets are very far and few. You have a deposit of $100 which they refund after 2-3 days of your checkout day. Overall, I can’t really complain about much.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This hotel has a great bed, fantastic food, maximum amenities, and everything else you might want. I had a wonderful time here because all I needed was given, and I'm grateful to these guys for making it happen. It was the perfect setting for you to unwind and spend time with your loved ones. Thank you incredibly much!
