I'm new to the Baldwin Village district so when I found out my brother who has always struggled making new friends was able to sign himself up at the "JGP Strollando Murda Camp" after school youth program I was extremely happy for him. At least 5X a week him and his friends meet up at the park to discuss things like "JS politics”, “BPSN bible study”, and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. I’m still not sure of what their main focus is other than it must be a strictly run program because several kids were told to stop coming to the park because they were “straight yeeness on blpsds”. Weirdly there was several times I found dried up bits of blue candle wax and tiny shards of glass on his red Vans. There was even another day where he ran back home with a ski mask on smelling like fireworks and started trying to burn his whole outfit and beg our little brother to pee on his hands. Despite the aforementioned situations, this park is a very clean, scenic, and safe tourist destination that you must come visit while in LA. (Especially if you're from colder states like Minnesota or NY). 8.5/10

Clean park free of litter and well maintained by staff and community. Inside facilities are a bit older & could definitely go for revamping but still that doesn't stop the quality of programs offered to the community, especially for the children. The summer programs, both camp and family nights are most notable. Park is busy, always someone walking their dog, jogging, or playing sports. The overall ambiance is safe, relaxing, and a good place to go to cool off in the late afternoon since it gets a nice breeze. We love this park.

Been attempting to build a regular exercise routine and I just couldn't seem to get started. As we all know that is the hardest part of doing anything. So today I had a chance to get some exercise in after work and quiet my mind from the workplace and be blessed enough to go home and relax.. Glory to God! ALWAYS!! I believe I shall try again tomorrow. The park is perfect because it has work out stations for the whole body around the park and it's FREE!!!

Its a great park. Large grassy area. Plenty of tables and trash cans. Barbecue spots. Kids play ground. Two full basketball courts outside. Plus a gym with a full court. I left that star blank because of the lack of poop pickup. All these trash cans... people lazy. Lol

I was there for the weekend as an election worker for the June elections. The park itself is nice but the unsavory People and their activity that comes to the park did not make it a pleasant experience being there. And their restroom is horrible the stall and the seats look like a prison, it is not clean, the tissue paper you can't get off the roll because it's locked up and it's connected to a oblong bar so its not easy to get to roll. The staff is not that helpful or that friendly.
