This is an excellent trail to come for a quick walk/casual hike. The loop takes about 30 minutes at a good pace, and is an wonderful place to bring dogs. There is a really nice view of Downtown LA from parts of the trail here. I would definitely coming here for a walk, hike, or even a run!

I really like this trail for walk and hike. Parking available and there’s a good vibes on the top, plus plenty of trail which you can choose to go for your workout. There is a lot of dog walkers around so it’s really good place to walk with your dogs and enjoy the view of downtown Los Angeles plus easy access to the street from town or to the freeways 5 and 110 if there is no traffic. Restroom available around the trail.

Just about the perfect trail if you want a city view!! The trail itself is not too steep so it should be fine for most anyone who is willing to walk a little. But if not, there is also parking that can be found if you drive up as well. While the views of LA are great expect to see plenty of graffiti here as well. Being a local, however, I believe it adds to the charm of the place. Dodgers Stadium also looks great from this point too! That was a welcome surprise 🏟.

Short and sweet trail with great views of downtown rising up above the treeline! Choose your own adventure - you can hike for as little as 2 miles or up to 4 or 5 or so.

Nice loop trail with plenty of parking that's not too difficult and with really great views of downtown LA. Loop is about 2.5 miles so you can complete it comfortably within an hour. Saw lots of wildflowers including a lot of black mustard and a couple impressive hawks. Most of the hikers wore masks, too.

Our walk in this park was very relaxing. We saw many parties having a picnic and even enjoying a barbecue. The park is quite expansive. Therefore, social distancing was not too difficult to maintain. Fellow visitors to the park were conscious of COVID-19 and wore a mask on this Saturday afternoon in early March 2021. Views of downtown where impressive.

I enjoy this hiking trail because it is on a hillside and you can get a great view of downtown Los Angeles. The path has an incline so you should wear hiking shoes to avoid slipping. There is a tiny parking lot next to the trail entrance, but you can also park at Elysian Park at the bottom and go up the trail through a bottom entrance.

Came hiking with the family. Short hike about a Mile to the top and saw the nice downtown city view. Easy hike. Very flat. Great for old and the young.

It is a nice place. You can choose from lots of different trail. There is a house with horses midway as well. Many people get their dogs as well. There is difficulty getting network in the area sometimes though. So booking a cab might be a challenge at times

Love this place. Great spot to get away from the city and into nature. Midweek is quiet….there’s two sides, stadium way divides the park. Both offer tons of hiking and picnic areas

Perfect local getaway to catch some fresh air and city views. If you connect both sides of the park you can hit roughly 6 miles and there are a few options to extend it further depending on how far you need to go.

Beautiful park. Went here in January and loved it so much. The scenery and atmosphere is just awesome.

This meandering trail in Elysian Park has fantastic views! The trail has several trailheads so it's easy to get on it from different spots. It's great for hiking, dog walking and trail running. The best view in my opinion is a little bit north from this trailhead, you'll be able to see downtown LA skyline rising above the green space of the park. Going south, you can get to Sunset Blvd and there are tons of cafes and restaurants for refreshments.

Lots of pets along this trail. Good 1-hr hike with easy to see paths and good views. Parking is available in lots dispersed throughout the area or even on the street. Highly recommend for anyone in the DTLA area!
