A nice place to be after a long day walk in Hollywood. It’s located near Target, Marshall, Hard Rock Cafe, Chinese Theater, Dolby theater.

We lived on this street when we were in Los Angeles and walked and shopped in this center many times. They have many interesting shops and snack bars.

Great mall for shops, dining, and entertainment. Dolby theater and Chinese theater are here. Clean restrooms, excellent parking with validation $3 for 2 hours except the cinemas which are $3 for 4 hours.

I had the pleasure of visiting this place for the second time, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations. The first time I came was during the daytime, but it was during the nighttime that it truly came alive and left me in awe. This second trip was definitely worth it. The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the captivating circular outdoor plaza nestled in the heart of Ovation Hollywood. It provides a generous number of benches and chairs, creating the perfect place for relaxation and unwinding. We also did not forget to re-visit iconic landmarks such as TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Dolby Theatre. It was a blast !!! For parking, it only costs $3 for the first 2 hours with validation from participating retailers, restaurants and shops. Not too bad. We didn't come here for shopping, so we didn't bother exploring any stores. However, it appears to be just like any other upscale mall, so I highly doubt there are any exclusive stores that can only be found here. We didn't feel compelled to check it out, as we can always do some shopping back home at a later time.

Always a quirky place to visit. Go early in the morning and you will have no trouble taking whatever tourist pictures you want. I took my dog for a stroll through the Chinese theatre area and the H&H area with no issues. And the best thing about having a dog is no one bothers you to join a van tour. Hate those things.

Ovation Hollywood, formerly The Hollywood and Highland Center, has a new location for its Information Center. The new visitor center is now located on the 3rd level next to the Grand Archway. May be currently closed due to the ongoing renovations, as I've checked several times. Great views of the Hollywood Sign, but better views of you hike the trails.

Love this place for the parking. They validate at Hard Rock if you have lunch there. Hollywood blvd itself is pretty dumpy overall but this shopping center saves the day. Plus a great view of the Hollywood sign for tourists.

Very nice atmosphere, very clean and a range of different stores and food places to explore! The Kobe Mural was pretty easy to find, past the Sushi store overlooking the walk of fame.

Good place to visit but I probably wouldn't come all the time. A lot of areas smelled bad and a lot of it was blocked off. I did like that they had a decent amount of security guards.

To say the Icons of Darkness exhibit in Hollywood is a jaw-dropping, exciting, feast for the eyes is both accurate and yet still a bit of an understatement. Even now, after driving home, settling in with dinner and going over the photos off my Canon Rebel T7, it’s hitting me just how special this collection is. In a powerfully packed half hour, our knowledgeable docent walked us through Rich Cordell’s expansive private collection. There is so much, that within that half hour I snapped over 270 photos. And I didn’t get it all. I couldn’t get it all, even if I had several hours. I was so busy trying to get most of it, I had a few moments where I thought to myself how AMAZING it all is, and collectively, how WONDERFUL it is.

This is actually where pretty much everything happens, good or bad. You can see food sellers, street performers, gamblers, tourists, influencers, sometimes stars. My son bumped into Keanu Reeves a few days ago. Busy street junction, but I don’t like it after sunset. In Hollywood, you just have to be careful even when it is not dark. Nothing is free here. You pay to take photos with people in super hero outfit or with snake in their shoulders. Sometimes street performers block the sidewalk to dance, sing or preach, it becomes much more crowded, but is also adds flavors to Hollywood. That is unique here that you don’t see anywhere else. Enjoy while watch out. It is the same anywhere else.

It was a lot less crowded than the last time I came here. There were still "scammers" on the streets. My best advice is to not stop when someone tries to stop you. They are still very aggressive.

We went to see Eddie Izzard's comedy show at the Dolby theatre. Oscar night takes place there every spring, along with film premieres and many other fabulous concerts throughout the year. Before the show, the service at the lobby bar was fast and friendly. Tip: There is more than one way to get into their enormous garage below, so be sure to make a note of where your car is and the color of your level. That will make life much simpler on the way out. Enjoy!

Pretty much what you would expect. A lot of people looking down at the stars. Was fun anyway and a must at least once in your life if passing by LA. Great photo opportunity with the Hollywood sign.

Decent shopping place. You can request for a tour of Dolby theatre where the annual academy awards are hosted. Fairly decent view of Hollywood sign from the 3rd floor. Find the Ovation Hollywood and then start from here, your walk of fame.

Too much of a tourist trap for my taste. I'm a local and just use this stop as needed. The street performers tend to be really good though. Really appreciate their dedication

Area has LOTS OF HOMELESS. I NEVER FELT SCARED. They are HOMELESS not HARMFUL. NEVER saw anyone bothering anyone. Sidewalks could use a wash down every night. Food and drinks spills on the stars and Sidewalks, but don't get cleaned. Trash cans get dumped, could use another run however. All were FULL.

Well! California was great. This was only on my list because my kid insisted on seeing the Dolly Parton star. Alot of sketchy people especially people trying to sell themselves. Overall it was great for quick photo ops.

First time in LA, i decided to check out a few talk about places. I didn't go into any actual building, my visual experience was captured from outside. The Chinese theater and Hollywood walk of fame it was a once in a life time experience.

It was something to see. You see it all the time on TV. It is nice to actually go and see it for yourself. The area had security guards, but it's always good to be careful. Lots of souvenir shops and places on walking.

The exhibit was interactive at times and included some very personal items from Bob Marley and his family. I would've liked more music throughout the exhibit. There was much appreciated beautiful art throughout.

Very cool to be able to find a place to clearly see the Hollywood sign. Exits lead right to Walk of Fame. Mid sized Mall with a good selection of shopping options, a movie theatre, and an Amazon locker that we took advantage of on our visit. The layout is a little confusing, but other than that, great retail space.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! From the moment I walked into the huge, sparklingly clean Marshall's at Hollywood & highland I was exceedingly impressed with the size n selection of this awesome store!! They had friendly associates that greeted me entering and leaving from the store and their selection far exceeded any other Marshalls that I had visited before!! :D

It's all worth it and affordable I save a lot of money for they offered discounts if you buy lots of their items. It's my salary today and I really need new clothes and shoes. I went to this store and found out that they have good quality.

I decided to go shopping for this morning because I wanted to buy some nice clothes for my daughter’s birthday. Little did I knew, this mall that I went in was pretty fantastic. The saleslady was amazing and hospitable to cater to my needs. When I already have the thing that I needed, I immediately run to the cashier, and they greeted me “good morning” so nicely. I was in so much gratefulness with their goodness and professionalism. I would come back again and again. Have a great day!

It's always great to have multiple stores to shop, restaurants, and a spacious aisle. This shopping would always be my favorite. The directions were visible to read so that you can't get lost while roaming around. The comfort room is very accessible.

    I don't like it

  • 3/5 Michael N. 3 years ago on Google
It seems that at times security is too uptight. Even other staff members of the mall (It says "Hollywood & Highland" on their shirts) can be utterly disrespectful. I was eating at a table marked with a "No food or drink" sign, and the housekeeper on duty comes to me and says "no eating" in a disrespectful manner. He obviously didn't speak English very well (you should be required to speak English in order to work in this country), and he didn't bother explaining why he didn't tell anyone else. He singled me out, AND I WANT TO KNOW WHY. If I am harassed one more time, I will be filing a law suit against the mall.

The location is broad and the location is convenient since there are many bus lines, a metro, an expressway, and a highway. Within, there are many shops and the place is still busy.

The walk of fame is not family friendly and gets quite dangerous at night. If you get pics with the costume people they really expect at least $5. And some of them put on a good show.
