Been to jewel a handful of times now and have not been let down! Always incredibly tasty food leaving me immediately thinking about when I'll be able to come back for more. I'd easily put this in my top 5 restaurants in LA.

Small portions with huge flavors! Everything we had was so tasty. By far, my favorite potato dish ever! The crisp outside and the flavorful sauce surrounding the potatoes just took the dish to another level. The pancakes were also delicious. They were sweet and had light crisp. The servers were nice. It just took a bit to be acknowledged at the door for assistance. It's a small diner style restaurant that delivers big flavors.

I love this place. Upbeat vibe. Cool ambience. Great food. Great service. Located in a residential area. Parking available on premises. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I devoured the (vegan) chicken and waffles. Been here before, will be back again and work my way through the menu. One delicious bite at a time! 😋

I was greeted with "how can I help you?" when I walked in, which felt weird. Why else would I be there if not to eat? It took some time to get a menu, but the wait staff were friendly. I ordered the overnight oats and the service was very slow. There's a 3% kitchen service charge "to ensure a more equitable workplace" that wasn't mentioned on the menu, only on the check. They should've been up front about it, and it should've been listed on their menu.

I ordered the spicy chick'n sandwich with tots and it was perfect! Not too spicy and full of flavor. I could barely finish it was so filling. Very cozy vibes and there is plenty of seating.

Jewel is SO good. It's a great spot for brunch, lunch or dinner. The food is really delicious and I love sitting on their patio. A few of my favorites: the Jewel Box (healthy grain bowl that is delicious and nourishing), gochujang brussels sprouts, smashed potatoes, jackfruit dumplings, gnocchi (dinner menu), buffalo "chicken" sandwich, coconut calamari tacos, and mushroom "chicken" and waffles. Jewel is really a great.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants I've ever been to. The staff and chef think very hard on how to create flavors and notes in the food they cook. Each item on the menu has so much attention to detail it comes through in each bite. The the staff and chef were personable. Will definitely be going back when I'm in town.

Jewel is the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant in LA, and regardless of if you eat meat or not, you’re sure to enjoy the food & coffee here.I wish I could give it more stars. This casual cafe has a chill vibe, friendly staff, and both indoor & outdoor seating. For parking, they have a small designated lot and there is free street parking, but you might have to walk a bit if it’s a weekend. What really blew me out of the water was their vegan burrata dish. Each bite is creamy perfection, and it had an incredible flavor with the vegan pesto. I didn’t know sesame bread could be this good, but this is my new favorite bread. It was the perfect complement of spicy, savory, and sweet. The spicy comes from the from the chunks of garlic, and this is hands down the best dairy-free burrata I’ve ever tasted. Their coffee is also delicious, and they have a great beverage program, now including wine!

Delicious vegan menu with logged off options, inventive drinks, and friendly service! Would definitely return. The Jewel box was so good and the tostada is a must try!

Love this place!!! Seriously, soo good. I had the carrot lox toast, which was delicious (after I got rid of some of the fennel) & on a previous visit, I had the Avocado Toast and the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Now the chicken is made from tofu, and they do something very unique to this tofu that the Crispy parts taste just like what i remember chicken skin to taste like, but without the torture. (Yay). It's a bit pricey so I can really only afford to try one thing at a time, but it's worth it, and I can't wait to try more options on their menu. They are only a vegetarian spot because they offer real eggs, but everything else is plant based.

My favorite vegan cafe in all of Los Angeles. Come here to work on your computer, catch up with friends, or for a date … it’s the perfect mix of casual setting but decadent food and creative cocktails plus gorgeous wine selections. My go to is the carrot lox toast with tofu scramble and I’m never disappointed They have some of the Best Matcha in town for a fair price, it’s worth it to stop in just to get your caffeine fix And I can’t forget to mention the service is impeccable, everyone is so kind, I always feel welcome walking through their door Love this spot sm 💕

I like this cafe! I enjoyed vegetarian food here. I came with my husband. We ordered coconut tacos, carrot lox toast and 2 oat lattes. It costs $40. Food was great 👍 Coffee was good, but would be better for its price ($5 small cup). Carrot lox was the best! Better than real smoked salmon. Minus star for waiting. People who came after us were served first.

Jesus I will be dreaming of those pancakes for years to come. Excellent meal, excellent service, prices were as expected, quality was amazing. Can’t wait to come back here and try EVERYTHING!

What a breath of fresh air! I'm just now discover this *gem* just on the other side of my neighborhood, with a delightful vibrant menu that's conveniently veggie and (mostly) gluten-free, served with radiant smiles. They have an airy outdoor patio that wraps around the east corner of the restaurant, will definitely be back to try it out too! Wish I wasn't too busy to eat here, the food is so tempting I had to break into my to go food from the parking lot!

Yes to Jewel and yes to queer owned businesses! I am not a vegan but the Jewel Box made me an instant convert. Beautiful patio, laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. I’ll be back!

Best wine list in town. Everyone who works her is really friendly. The food is amazing! Enough to bring even my non vegan bf around to eating away from meat. Please stay here forever jewel.

Some of the best food we've ever had in our many years of being vegan!! The burrata salad and Jewel box were amazing, and the outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant was so cozy and quaint. Really glad to have stumbled upon this gem :)

Incredible menu. They really bring the best out of vegetables instead of using too many processed vegan meats. They are never too busy which doesn’t make any sense but I also kind of love for selfish reasons. This place deserves all of the recognition. The staff/service is always fantastic as well. I couldn’t recommend more.

This place is SO good, highly recommend, pictured below is the “lox” toast, I added a fried egg, it’s totally vegan otherwise. They have indoor/outdoor seating, the service was fantastic, and food delicious, will definitely be returning.

The chicken and waffles is amazing. Also the tuna tostada! They have orange wine which paired nicely.

Don’t order any side dishes… they really hit you with the price but fail on quantity. $6 worth of house made kimchi right here.

Jewel is my go to spot for Sunday brunch / lunch after church. However, I have decided I need to come more often because it’s simply the best. The team is awesome, it’s dog friendly, and the glassware will make your day. Seriously, Jewel ignites your childhood spirit with its happy and whimsical vibes. You’ll want every beverage on the menu. Thanks, Jewel! You rock 🫶🏼

Sauces on the buffalo sandwich and spicy pizza were good, need to generous w/ it on the pizza. Too much ice, not enough drinks. Cornbread eh. Misgendered me. Cute postcard came with bill. Vibrant murals on walls.

Delicious food! My boyfriend and I shared the breakfast burrito. I recommend adding the tofu scramble 🤤. We also had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was my favorite part of it. BUT the best thing we had was the cornbread. A must have. Vibes and service were on point.

Just order from here for the first time and it’s literally one of my best meals of the year. Comfort food, but beautiful and fresh. The forbidden rice and the Brussels Sprouts were perfect. The carrot lox and tater tots were divine. Yum yum.

Jewel is a great spot for plant based food. From what I can tell, the only non-vegan food on the menu is an optional fried egg (as an add on), but either way, every item is clearly labeled. The hot rose cardamom drink was incredible, and they had some knockout carrot lox. I also enjoyed the Meyer lemon pancakes. I’d love to return to try some other stuff on the menu when I’m town next time!
