I never tried vegan pizza before so this was an interesting place to try out! Usually it's the cheese that gives away that something is vegan because the taste isn't always just right, however I ordered the pesto Pizza and I couldn't even tell that the cheese was vegan! Overall I would definitely come back to try a different type of pizza as I wish that there was a little bit more pesto on it. The pizza is definitely worth it!

Vegan pepperoni calzone - 5 🌟! Pro tip from my days as a pizza guy. If the menu has a calzone on it, chances are very good that it is going to be one of the best values on the menu. Cruzer Pizza is a place I found very early on when I landed in Los Feliz three years ago. They used to have a fantastic lunch special. The lunch special is gone, but Cruzer is still going strong. They have great vegan pizza, pasta, and sides. I have had many of their combos, but when I went for a meal to write a review for them, I went with the calzone. Calzones are the silent star of pizza places. Super filling. Super tasty. And at Cruzer, also entirely vegan. It lasted me two days and was just as good the second day. Their location is sort of tucked away in East Hollywood. They have good street parking and lots of dine in options. Another tip I have for calzone connoisseurs is to ask for extra marinara on the side.

Good small business for a classic vegan pizza! The flavor was just on point, cheese is a bit too sticky for my taste but still tastes good. Their selection of gourmet pizzas is really good. The bathrooms and restaurant in general are pretty clean. Service was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. You can see the kitchen from the cashier so it was nice to see how they do it behind the scenes. There’s plenty of parking in the area so that was nice too. They’re potatoes with cheese are bomb and I loooved the ranch sauce.

Worst pizza ever and potatoe wedges ever! I’ve been to several different vegan spots to have pizza and this was by far the worst. I’ve been vegan for about a year now before I was vegetarian. I was really excited as I always am to try an all vegan spot! I just moved here from Kansas so and have been amazed by the large vegan selection in Cali. But this right here was trash!!! The cheese had a horrible consistency and the potato wedges had no flavor at all and just overall didn’t taste good ! The staff was very friendly. Maybe there pasta and burgers are better but this right here ain’t it ...

Tried the bread sticks which were loaded with cheese and garlic, and were really good. The sauce that came along with it was very fresh and neutral; not too salty, spicy nor sweet. We had the vegan meats pizza, and firstly, the large size is LARGE! The two of us could finish only 5 slices. Second, the cheese was overflowing from the pizza. Really cheesy, loaded with the meats, and hot out of the stove. They have a great menu, and I'd love to try more of it. Pizza lovers should definitely try this one out.

Vegan pizzas 🍕!!!!! Probably the best Vegan pizza in LA. Always big vegan portions. Have ordered meat, chicken, cheese, buffalo chicken, Hawaiian, Jamaican, Philly steak, Cuarry girl and Margherita pizzas, Pepperoni ... , see pictures below. Absolutely delicious and tasty!!! THIS. This is the vegan pizza place you're looking for. The pizza is great. One warning though-- one pie from the menu (the Quarrygirl) is well-reviewed online and the description is pretty appetizing, but it doesn't come with marinara (olive oil only)! Anyway, while you might be able to find passable pizza elsewhere, if you're looking for actual good vegan pizza, you'll find it here. Oh yeah-- the largest pizza is about twice as much food as two hungry people can eat, so, order accordingly.

This place serves the best vegan pizza ever! I am from Dallas and so far I have never tasted a better vegan pizza than Cruzer Pizza. So much variety to choose from. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in, very friendly atmosphere. I brought my non vegan siblings here and they loved the pizza as much as I did. Wish I could come here more often but I am not from L.A. Beautiful restaurant and delicious pizza. I ordered the meat pizza.

This review is restricted to take out since I've had food only once and it was a take out. A tiny bit of background about me so that the review has some context. Been vegan for 12 years and I have tried pizza in a lot of places. I have to say that this place blew me away with such cheesy taste that it's hard to believe they are vegan. I will be returning to the West Coast after 6 years and you bet I will eat here again.

This place is legit! The pizza was fresh, nice and warm right out of the pizza box. The crust was perfect and crispy and soft on the inside. We got the vegetable one and everything was fresh and delicious. I drive 25 minutes just for this pizza! It has a lot of space to sit down. I got the 16” and every size was worth the fair price. Bring your family and friends!

Honestly, I've given up on this place. The food IS great but the service is hit or miss and I just can't chance it anymore. This isn't about employees specifically by the way, it's stuff like getting my order wrong or missing ingredients! So yea, I'll just get daiya at the store and make it myself.

Regularly order the Jamaican pizza. The lasagna today brought me here, and this is maybe the third review I've written in my life. I quit lasagna years ago after I quit meat (I don't like veggie lasagna). This looks and tastes just like the meat lasagna I remember (maybe better!).

Ordered twice for pickup via DoorDash! Both orders the pizza was really good! Best tasting vegan pizza I’ve had with so many options! The guy working the counter could practice better customer service skills.. on both occasions he just handed over the pizza to me without any words.. no “hello/thank you/welcome back/thanks for supporting our business” just a blank stare as he hands the pizza over. Nonetheless good food, I’ll probably have it delivered next time!

Great pizza with yummy sauce, perfect crust, and lots of veggies. They do not skimp on the veggies so it makes the price very affordable, especially compared to other vegan pizzas. The employee working was friendly and the food came out quick.

The thick crust is tender, crispy, fluffy, and delicious. Incredibly similar to animal based pizza, but better because it's vegan and beneficial to the planet and human health in a myriad of categories. Cheese is gooey just like dairy, with a subtle, delicate mozzarella flavor. The tirimisu and chocolate cake are phenomenally moist and dense with a balanced sweetness and flavour.

Delicious pizza! Pasta was great too. So many options to choose from. Gluten-free crust is fantastic and holds up well the next day. I asked for extra cheese and they really delivered on that. Staff is helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!!

My gf is obsessed with their Vegan BBQ chicken pizza. I got a veggie pizza & it was also very good, but like seriously… you all neeed to try the bbq pizza; it’s unlike any other. We always got carry out, so we never got the dining experience, so I can’t judge that aspect of Cruzers, but if you’re ever craving a pizza & want an amazing plant based one… this is your sign to order Cruzers!

This is the BEST vegan pizza and their customer service goes above and beyond. I love their pesto pizza and breadsticks, and their desserts are super yummy as well. My mom was ordering dinner for me for my birthday and she put the wrong address in, so it was delivered across the street. Normally I would just walk across and get the order, but I have coronavirus and am not able to leave my apartment. I didn’t tell Cruzer’s anything about being sick or it being my birthday, but they refunded the original order so that my mom could order again to the right address! They even texted me to confirm the address the second time around haha. This was so sweet and really made my day :) They will continue to be my go-to pizza place, and I 100% recommend them if you’re looking for vegan pizza that tastes better than most regular pizza!

This place is awesome! We ordered a Veggie Pizza, Calzone, and Breadsticks and they were really good. The owner is really nice and we have a no Onion and Garlic dietary restriction and they were able to accommodate. Their pizza sauce does not contain it and they also used new utensils using request. Extremely recommend if you are in town and would like to try vegan options.

great pizza. incredible vegan drumsticks (veggie chicken wings). vegan ranch you could just drink. try the buffalo chicken. only thing i can't jive with is ingredients under the cheese but i understand it to be a contentious issue for everyone

Really great vegan pizza! The quarry girl is just 👌 I didn't used to like Daiya vegan cheese, but I think they have been improving their vegan cheese recipe, it's gotten so much better.

Totally outstanding vegan pizza in a casual locale with adorable vegan-inspired chalk wall art. Highly recommend the cheese sticks (garlicky and delish!) and any of the pizzas. We usually opt for the vegetable pie with an array of toppings plus sausage! They also have pastas and sammies and desserts. No alcohol but different drink options. A must-visit!

100% vegan pizza! Parking was a little hard. We went there from an off-Hollywood street and parked in the residential area. Their top 3 are Hawaiian, BBQ chicken, and vegetable.

Their food is heavily dependent on Daiya cheese. So if you missed cheese pizzas, this is the spot for you. They aren't shy about spreading the Daiya cheese across all their products. It was too heavy for me, it seems impossible to eat there and not feel like you ate a block of cheese. However, their Tiramisu is delicious! Light and soft. Flavorful. Probably the saving grace of that dining experience.

Exception vegan selection of Italian favorites. Had the lasagna on this visit, it was outstanding. The sauce was incredible. The restaurant is always immaculately clean, and staff friendly.

A nice place to grab a bite with the family. They were incredible. They truly have great customer service. They also served a great pizza, an authentic hand-tossed pizza. The atmosphere is very cool . The waitress gave my son a ball of dough to play with while we waited for our pizzas. You have an admirable service!

This site is my favorite place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I want to go to a delicious dinner, this place comes right away to my mind. fresh and diverse food and a rich menu.courteous staff members, and nice spirit. And very important, the bill is good. I recommend this spot with pleasure.

I've been to Shizen...a few times... lost count, more than 5 at least it's the best totally vegan restaurant in the city that I've been to, and some of the beat sushi ive ever had full stop. Have taken a few consummate meat eaters here who were v impressed. The ya-kimono mushrooms and secret soda are my favorite.

I'm ecstatic there's a new veg restaurant in CA. The brussel sprouts and rigatoni were scrumptious. The latter is made with vegan Parmesan and "Impossible" burger. You can get a regular Impossible burger, too. The menu has other enticing options like paella with Beyond sausage. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The ambiance was nice, with options for indoor and outdoor seating.
