WR BEACH is one of the cleanest beaches So. Cal., located along Pacific Palisades by the PCH. It has plenty of amenities from bathrooms, bike/walk path, volleyball courts and parking lots. Despite its proximity to Santa Monica, you won’t find yourself fighting crowds here. I’d say one of the perks of Will Rogers is the parking lot is right next to the beach. The water is clean at Will Rogers, so it’s a perfect place to take a dip on a sweltering day. It’s also calm, so you won't find too many surfers. You will however, find a lot of beach volleyball players. Fun fact: This beach was the filming site of Baywatch of the 90’s. As far as the sand goes, it’s is sufficiently soft to walk around on barefoot, so throw down a beach towel and spread out. Moreover, one thing which I find a downer was there aren’t a whole lot of food options, so it's best to take a picnic basket. Overall, it’s a fantastic beach to chill and hangout and enjoy the day.

Clean beach and parking is cheap. The parking is close to the beach so walking with little ones is easier after they’ve played and are tired. A little rocky in the water, enough that my daughters knee started bleeding when she was pushed down by a wave but no pain and we can just better prepare for next time. Lots of space for sports and nets up for volleyball.

The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty. Highly recommended!

Big beach with lots of space and parking- it was $15 when we went. Public bathrooms and outdoor showers. Fairly clean and not too many steps to the water! Recommend.

It's always sunny there and the waves are great for surfing. It's a pretty big beach and you can always find a spot.

My girlfriend and I went in the middle of the night to watch the stars, couldn't see many stars because of the light pollution for the city and the cloudy dark fogginess of the sky. But still, a gorgeous place to be, anywhere near the ocean crashing against the sand is a wonderful place. So open and free! And to be there with no one else around, serene. We also often go there to watch the sunset. Also amazing.

The women's restroom at Will Rogers Beach is out of hand soap and most of the toilets are filled with urine because they do not flush. Also, a rude, skinny, old, domineering, white man almost issued me a parking citation because I said I was offended that he didn't believe I had paid to park there. The arrogant, male, meter-maid attempted to intimate me by snapping photos of my license plate while lecturing me on my lack of prudence as I anxiously looked for the permit that was supposed to have been displayed on my dashboard. I only found the parking slip after the condescending and presumedly self-important man had forced me to leave the lot by verbally threatening me.... I would give the beach one star for lack of proper sanitation measures and for the patronizing patrol guard except that there are clean-looking outside showers available. That itself earns one star.

Excellent spot to view the worls famous sunset. Parking is paid, but plentiful. The people are friendly and the beach sand is fine.

And there are parking lots right off the beach. If you are going for a swim you could spend 2-3 hours here.

One of my favorite beaches that's somewhat hidden away (Thanks God!) from the normal crowds in San Francisco is Baker Beach. Especially in mornings. Assure you! You don't want to leave this beach! Waves sound, light breeze, no people and a great number of white gulls! If it's a clear day, the view of the Golden Gate Bridge is fantastic! As in my photo. I guess it's the best place to relax and enjoy the amazing views!
