Found this place online while staying in an nearby hotel and after visiting Cuba a few years ago had to come and try. Ordered a traditional Cubano sandwich and it was brilliant. Authentic great Cuban taste. Marinated meats with mustard on fresh toasted roll and served with fries. I also ordered a white coffee which was sweet just as I remember. Great lunch. Totally full and totally met my expectations. The location isn’t huge but has seating for maybe 40 people. Service was great even though I sadly don’t speak Spanish the menu was easy and I was tempted by so many dishes. Will definitely go back. Can highly recommend. Parking is easy just outside

I ordered to go, and I called ahead to order based on pictures of the menu, I used to go back before covid when they had a buffet, and food used to be really good. So I order yuca with chicharrones because I see on a picture that it was served with beans and bananas, but when I called they said no it was not and they suggest to order rabo encendido since that one came with rice , bananas and beans. I also ordered the yucca as a side dish. I went to pick up, to go, since I dont have enough time for lunch, when I got back to work, to eat there, I seen they did not put any napkins or utensils, packagin was horrible, the banans where all mixed with the juice from the rabo encendido, the yucca was super oily and I was very disappointed to see all food mixed up and only 2 pieces of rabo, my total with no drinks just for those 2 things was $40.68 And I don't mind paying a lot when food is worth it, but not this one, I was totally disappointed

Came for the Sunday brunch and was not disappointed! Platanos, chicken, and pulled pork were all delicious - left happy and stuffed!

This restaurant is a breath of fresh air in this quasi industrial area close to downtown Torrance. I ordered the chicken steak lunch--the 'rabo encendido' plate, I thought, was a bit pricey.

First time trying this place and I enjoyed it. From the music, decor and fold everything was good. Personally maybe the portions could've been a little larger but I also went for lunch as my 1st meal of the day 🤣. I had the oxtail which was 🤌🏾. Will be back to try some of the sandwiches and steak.

Love this place for Sunday Brunch. It tarts at 10am. The oxtail is outstanding and just falls off the bone with flavor. Make sure to get the onions with the chicken and slather more sauce on it. The pork by the omelette station just melts in your mouth tender. They have cut back on the desserts since the last time we visited but they did add coffee. Awesome job and keep up the good food.

Food was definitely not authentic. We got yuca con chicharon , tostones, pollo con arroz and empanadas and everything was awful. Tostones cold not fresh and the same for everything else. They should not be selling food....

It was a great place to taste cuban food but the quality has decreased flavor wise. The 5 reasons why I think this is a nice place are: 1. authentic cuban dishes 2. fresh ingredients 3. Fair price/portion ratio 4. fast and friendly service 5. great atmosphere for family and friends The only thing I did not like is the lack of flavor/spices used in the food, the pulled beef taste was bland and the half chicken has zero flavor, not even smoky flavor or anything from the grill. Latin food is always full of flavor but this wasn't the case here. The maduros were the only thing I liked If you don't know what to order, get the "Ropa Vieja" is your go to, not perfect or as flavorful as it should be, but it's something. I wouldn't go again unless they season and spice their food in a more authentic latin way.

GREAT SERVICE, EVEN BETTER FOOD. The bread and frijole mix served as curtesy was amazing and the food got better from there. Yucca and Chicharron appetizer could nearly be a plate on its own, and the PAELLA was perfect albeit slightly different than traditional, but in a very good way.(white sauce on the clams is spectacular).Clams ,muscles, shrimp, octopus steak slivers ,scallops all cooked perfectly and the saffron rice mix was impeccable.. Best meal I've had in a while, and one of the best Paellas I've ever eaten. Hats off to the chef of this great restaurant.

This place has delicious Cuban food. They usually have an awesome brunch buffet on Sundays, but it's on hold for now. Currently, they are remodeling their big room. A waitress told me that they were adding a new bar, and they had plans for live music and extending their hours.

Habana Vieja is pretty good. The tostones are big and tasty. The bistec Palomilla came out cold. The chicken was cooked properly and well crafted. I think they’re a little under staffed, but they are nice.

After I left work I decided to have early dinner and I found near by this Restaurant. It said Cuban food but with all due respect. What a horrible taste of food. I was dying to try the moros y cristianos but oh my Lord what a disappointment. I have tried many times Cuban food and this was not Cuban food. Service was lousy. I ordered extra beans but the the taste was not black beans taste. Take a look at the color of the moros y cristianos. That is not Cuban. What an insult to Cuban Cuisine .

I don't mind spending on food, when it's quality. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. I got oxtails they were tender but bathed in oil. Sandwich bread was old.

Delicious, perfectly cooked. More flavor would make this place extraordinary. Everything tasted fresh and the daily soup is absolutely a must, very tasty and they give you an enormous amount. Chips are thick and fresh. The coffee is amazing. Service is on point 5* service.

What a great find in the South Bay while visiting my parents. Super cute place and the food is amaaaaazing. I had the croquetas and ropa vieja and honestly the best Cuban black beans I’ve had outside of actual Cuba. I mean even the white rice was so flavorful. The tostones tasted really homemade too! The decor felt like I was back in Cuba too. And all the staff was so sweet and friendly. Especially since we are a large family with kids we appreciate the friendliness. Will definitely be back!

Food is delicious! Best Cuban food in town. Staff is friendly. Oh and the music is the bomb Azucar! Highly recommend.

Ordered to go and the food was good. I ordered Ropa Vieja, the taste was amazing. Definetly worth trying and I plan on returning for something new and different.

Ropa vieja is what I decided to order because of all the yelp reviews. Everything was good except the meat was too gamey. I was having a hard time chewing so I know my grandma was having trouble and sure enough she also agreed with me We also ordered the vaca frita, that was good. Also Bistec empanizado and Yuca that was good.

Food was delicious, music & decor were bright and relaxing, and the service was flawless. We came for a late lunch on a *very* bad day after my friend's car was stolen, among other things. One bite was all it took to turn our moods around! The ropa vieja & tostones were highlights for me. I'm definitely going back even though it's not at all in my neighborhood.
