This
hotel
is
a
tough
one.
The
rooms
themselves
have
been
updated
to
varying
degrees
and
are
generally
spacious,
and
the
kitchenette
is
a
great
feature,
but
overall
the
hotel
still
looks
and
feels
rather
old
and
dated.
This
is
especially
true
relative
to
other
comparable
level
Bonvoy
properties.
It's
long
past
time
to
replace
the
awful
old-school
in-room
coffee
makers
with
a
Keurig,
for
example.
[Pro
tip:
the
tiny
coffee
mugs
they
provide
are
too
small
for
the
coffeemaker
(i.e.,
the
mugs
overflow
every
time).]
I
appreciate
the
small
but
functional
gym
despite
its
dungeon-like
location
in
a
hot,
windowless
room
(with
no
air
circulation)
two
floors
beneath
the
lobby.
Note
that
only
one
elevator
provides
access,
but
the
staff
never
mentions
this
at
check-in.
Included
breakfast
is
always
a
nice
feature,
but
the
quality
and
selection
here
pales
in
comparison
to
the
aforementioned
comparable
level
Bonvoy
properties.
The
staff
are
also
barely
attentive
to
items
needing
replenishment.
If
you
have
any
degree
of
dietary
restriction
or
generally
want
to
eat
healthy
you'll
immediately
be
reduced
to
about
20%
of
what's
available.
Coffee
in
the
lobby
is
mediocre
but
a
nice
bonus
and
convenience.
My
room
had
multiple
visible
stains
on
the
carpet,
the
operable
window
(with
no
screen)
was
creaky,
very
little
lighting
in
the
living
area,
and
housekeeping
left
the
shower's
body
wash
dispenser
completely
empty
which
I
obviously
didn't
know
until
mid-shower
when
it
was
too
late.
That
my
room
faced
a
busy
street
(including
sirens
and
late-night
drag
racing/blaring
car
stereos)
isn't
the
hotel's
fault
per
se,
but
it
was
noisy
enough
to
interrupt
my
sleep.
Staff
is
always
very
friendly
and
eager
to
help.
Check-in
and
check-out
are
quick
and
easy
every
time
which
I
really
appreciate.
Parking
is
way
overpriced,
and
be
forewarned
the
only
way
to
access
self-parking
from
the
hotel
is
via
a
door
at
the
far
end
of
the
4th
floor
hallway.
This
is
true
regardless
of
the
floor
on
which
you
park.
So
it's
a
mixed
bag
here.
It's
not
cheap
to
stay
here
by
any
means,
but
it's
typically
$100-150/night
less
than
the
Marriott
across
the
street.
For
that
savings
it's
worth
putting
up
with
all
the
negatives.
Still,
every
time
I
leave
thinking
I
should
have
gotten
a
bit
more
for
the
money.
Bottom
line,
I
wouldn't
hesitate
to
recommend
this
hotel
for
the
price
point
relative
to
others
in
the
area,
but
don't
expect
this
place
to
do
more
than
meet
your
most
basic
of
expectations.
