Our experience at KFK was unexpected and perfect! We woke up with the idea to just *begin* looking at rings for fun - asked a fancy stylist friend over morning coffee if they had recommendations for estate/vintage jewelry - and KFK was their only recommendation. We cruised over and were super pleased to learn it was a family-owned business, operating in LA for 20+ years. We were initially met by Sam the jeweler, who was warm and welcoming and pointed us to the vintage section. We also worked with Keith and Angie while trying on a slew of their beautiful vintage gold rings. We are grateful for such a lovely, laid back, and fun experience...so much fun, in fact, we ended up purchasing two beautiful rings that day. One (that Angie pointed us to which we'd completely missed) turned out to be an engagement ring for us and we celebrated all weekend long :-) Huge thanks to Angie, Keith, Sam (& Turnip) for a forever memorable occasion!

Angie and Sam are wonderful to work with! I needed several different changes made to multiple rings, and they were extremely thorough, friendly, and patient with me throughout the entire process. They not only provided expert guidance and suggestions when I was unsure of which direction to go, they also turned around the work very quickly and were more than happy to make any further adjustments as needed. They do the most amazing custom work — I had an very special and valuable ancient coin they fashioned into a beautiful pendant with absolute ease throughout the entire experience - and this was a tricky custom request as the coin is over 2000 years old. I am so happy with their work product and dealing with them was fun. I have two other custom projects right now in the works. I trust their work, value their effort and very much appreciate their customer service. 😁

The proprietors, Angie, Keith and Turnip, are wonderful to work with and yet another reason I return to shop at this boutique. If you want to design a custom piece, Sam is a doll and a highly skilled perfectionist which keeps him in high-demand. I actually discovered KFK thanks to a reference from a friend when I was looking for a jeweler to fix an earring clasp. I went in on a mission and was dazzled by the sparkling jewels that surrounded me. The in-house jeweler fixed my earring in 5 minutes... but by then I was trying on rings 😊. The owners wife was helping me and patiently let me try the pieces on, even though I had no plans to buy anything. But then I saw it... the most beautiful sapphire I’d ever seen. I left but just couldn’t get it off my mind. A few days later I went back and bought it. I’m so happy I had to get my earring fixed. Also, they have a special little employee named Turnip that you might be lucky enough to encounter! TL/DR: I went in for a jewelry repair and came out with a gorgeous ring (and my earring). Amazing customer service!

I want to make sure that i drive home one important point in this review, and that is; I highly recommend KFK for anyone needing help with anything related to jewelry. I originally went to KFK for an appraisal on some Diamonds, as well as to have a diamond pendant and necklace made. Not only am i completely satisfied with the result of my request, but their friendliness and willing to go above and beyond is rare these days.
