I was fully satisfied with the quality of service and product that I experienced from Arka Designs, and I would like to share the story behind the ring I made for my fiance from Arka Designs. I have been in search of finding a jewelry store that accepts custom design requests as I have a very particular idea and sketch for the ring’s design; the shape, material, and other details. After visiting multiple jewelry stores around Los Angeles, I landed on Arka Designs and decided to make the ring from the place. Here are the following reasons. First, Vito was very open to talking and hearing my stories and ideas about the ring. I am very particular about the designs and concepts of objects, and this ring was so important for me to get it done right that I had so many questions and comments about the ring design. At some point, I felt bad thinking that I had taken too much time away from Vito. However, he always listened, paid attention, and remembered all of my remarks about the ring, and the final result of the ring said it all. Even though this is a review, on this behalf, I would like to thank Vito again. Second, Vito is an experienced jeweler with good insights. His years of experience as a jeweler really helped my idea of design to be solidified with no compromise in its quality. I did not have much experience in jewelry manufacturing, so it was really nice to have someone like Vito who explains about the manufacturing process, step by step, with good details. Vito offers a price range per piece, and he decodes the reason / logic behind each pricing, step by step. I did not want to compromise on any quality and craftsmanship for the piece I had in mind, so I went with the highest option that Vito offered and I am so satisfied and delighted that I chose that option. This last reason is something I can write after my experience of designing a custom piece with Vito, and it is the fact that Vito is a person I (You) can really trust when it comes to jewelry. Jewelry is an item that really requires trust beneath its beauty and look. Our ring did not have diamonds, but when it came to the exact amount of gold that was used and other manufacturing processes involved, Vito was fully transparent about it. We are planning on purchasing jewelry that includes precious stones from Arka Designs in the future, solely due to trust I gained and beautiful pieces I have seen from the store. The moment I saw the finished ring became a very special moment in my life, thanks to Arka Designs. I'm going to talk about three pieces of CUSTOM jewelry that Vito has made for me in seven years. They are by far my favorite pieces of jewelry, and they always bring back warm memories of the transactions with Vito. If you can believe this, in 2015 I was over at the LA Jewelry Mart asking people if they could copy a ring that I loved. I knew n-o-t-h-i-n-g. You might say that, that day, an angel led me instead to Vito. Vito didn't take advantage of my ignorance. He treated me with a marvelous combination of dignity and cordiality, overlaid with knowledge and experience. I made another trip from Fullerton to LA to look at the beautiful stones that Vito selected. Shortly after, it was absolutely marvelous to see the finished ring. I've wore the it with distinct pleasure ever since. I would never look for another jeweler in the U.S. Not as long at Vito is still in business. So, in 2018, from our new home in Denver, I asked Vito for pearl earrings. Wearing the gorgeous pearls that Vito selected for me makes me feel like a lady. Just before Christmas 2020, I was smitten by a picture of a pair of ruby and gold earrings. Since they were in a museum, I could never own them. In his gentlemanly way, Vito assured me that he could have those earrings reproduced, and that "the goldsmith would enjoy the challenge"! So here they are. "Ladies 14k yellow gold chandelier earrings. Antique look. Two (2) natural ruby gemstones AAA quality. 0.44 carat weight. Prong setting." I love them and I will love them for the rest of my life!

Got 2 wedding bands for my partner and myself here. Walked in without an appointment, and Vito was really patient with us. He thoroughly explained all about the different ring designs, provided insightful suggestions and even customised the design he had on display so that my wedding band could match my engagement ring. Extremely quick turnaround time because we were flying off from US! Helps that his store is within the Hotel lobby, making us feel that the location is safer!

Vito is the best when it comes to jewelry. We went to him for my engagement ring, wedding band, and husband's wedding band. We even referred him to a bunch of friends, siblings, etc. because he is honest, will work with your schedule, and will give you a fair price. WOW WOW WOW Arka Designs Fine Jewelry is spectacular!! The shop is located in a small office in the Los Angeles Biltmore but do not let the size of the shop or the items available onsite deceive you. Vito can literally design your absolute dream ring that meets your budget. I visited the shop with my (at the time) boyfriend and we looked at different styles with Vito. I showed him a few different ideas I had seen online that I liked and he told me that they could customize a ring to have all the elements that I wanted. I wanted the final ring to be a surprise so my boyfriend worked with Vito to create a one of a kind piece of jewelry. It is the most stunning thing I have ever seen. The quality is amazing and the price was far lower than many of the other stores in the area. We were so pleased with my engagement ring that we had Vito custom design our wedding bands as well. We got married in May so we wanted to use emeralds. Our wedding bands are just as incredible as my engagement ring. Lastly, my husband had Vito create a ring to give me on our wedding day. So GORGEOUS! Since being married, we have worked with Vito on adjusting sizing of our rings and he has been extremely helpful, friendly, and provided very quick turnarounds. I can't suggest this jeweler enough. I would give him ten stars if I could!!

My sister connected me with Vito, as she loved his work for her engagement ring! I currently live in Maryland and wasn’t sure if he could make the right ring for my fiancée from across the country. Vito patiently looked at my photos over email, walked me through his ideas over phone calls, and sent me CAD renderings of the ring. He had a good sense for what would practically work [groove design, tapered ring thickness] and what wouldn’t [fitting more small diamonds on sides], so we went back and forth until we found the right design! My fiancée saw the CAD images but was still surprised when she saw the actual ring, and she absolutely loves it more in person.
