This place opened near my gym. Vegan Cambodian? I had to try it. It's a needed addition to the many vegan cuisines available in LA! The owner works hard to bring out all of the flavor in each dish. My non vegan friend also loved the food here, because it tastes great and the portions are just right.

I love this place. The food is made with love. The menu is entirely vegan. The kitchen is separate from their neighbors. I love the shrimp with garlic rice. Can’t wait to try other dishes.

This was delicious! The shrimp was crunchy and flavorful. The pork was rich and tasty. I was glad I upgraded to the garlic rice. The presentation was also fantastic, and this is a beautiful as well as tasty dish. Everything is vegan, and my kosher friend was excited to have shrimp again. He actually liked this shrimp better. I found them at the Vegas VegFest, and I will check them out again if I am in the area.

I’m not vegan, but this was new to the area so I thought I’d give it a try. Really delicious! I had the beef on garlic rice. Usually vegan food is quite salty and a weird texture, but this is the best I’ve had… can’t wait for more dishes on offer!

The Hookup consists of beef, shrimp, a cute flower, Garlic Rice, and a salad. Everything was pretty dam good and most definitely filling. I did think the food took long to come out, but I think the owner's the only one in the kitchen, so makes sense. Patience is a virtue, so that's okay. The shrimp was good, but also greasy and the batter was mad crunchy. I think I'd prefer the pork next time with the beef. The beef--- wooo! Very good! The Lok Lac gave everything that made my tastbuds jump with joy. The Garlic Rice which is highly recommended is recommended for a reason!! So seasoned and just right! Not soggy, not crunchy. Lastly, the side salad was okay. It's just chopped up lettuce with chopped up tomatoes and a vinagrete tasting dressing. Not for me. My favorite parts were definitely the beef, Garlic Rice, customer service, and the amazing presentation of all the food. I definitely come back.

*note* this is a food truck I found at Vegan Playground in Little Tokyo in Wednesday evenings The Cambodian spices were unexpected, but very welcome. Cinnamon? Nutmeg? I'm not sure, but it was really saucy and yummy! Topped an orchid flower, pretty plating

I ate food from this place at an event in Portland and wished I hadn't tried them. They were at the Halloween Vegan Night Market. Now mind you I understand being that this was an event somethings are out of their control like how busy the event is, but I feel like there was just a lack of organization here. Plus not very friendly. It was a 40 minute line wait to order food. Once order was place I was told it would be 40 minutes. I waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes for my food which is just ridiculous. Total time from being in line to receiving my food was 2 hours and 25 minutes. Once I got my food I was not impressed with the quality or the taste. I would not visit this restaurant if I was visiting the L.A. area nor would I visit if they opened a spot up wear I am located. Other people were waiting just a long as I was to receive their food. When inquiring about the order the were quickly told its not ready and then turned their back on them to go do something else. It would be nice to know how much longer it would be especially if you have been waiting 1 and 1/2 hours already. I actually heard workers telling a customer they were next but over 20 minutes later still hadn't received their food yet customers would had place orders after were somehow getting their food before them and I. This goes to the lack of organization of the staff. Each customer was given an order number yet there were plenty of times where 15 to 20 numbers higher were already being served and staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. If this business ever does another event in the future I would be great if they learned a system that better serves their customers.

I had the caramelized “pork” when they came to Vegandale in Dallas, TX and it was so delicious and flavorful. I’m really glad I chose to eat from them out of all the vendors at the festival. Was sad to see they’re not in Dallas! I’ll be craving this food until the next time!

I had the "pork" fried rice at the Riverside Lunar Festival this weekend. Couldn't really tell it was vegan, lol. That's how legit it was, amazing dish by Srey. She takes her work and cuisine seriously and it shows in her food. If you get the chance to try her out at a pop up, I highly recommend you do, especially if you're looking for a vegan option. Cambodian fusion at its finest!

Loved it. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. And hands down, the best vegan food I had. I can’t wait to come back to L.A. 🙌🏾🙌🏾

I had been wanting to try this spot for months! I finally had the opportunity to get the bahn mi sandwich at vegan playground on Friday at party beer co and it was AMAZING. The vegan meat was so soft and so flavorful. Honestly I've been dreaming about getting this again at their location off Washington and now I know I need to make a trip soon.

So happy to have a new vegan restaurant in the area!! Tried Srey Vegan for lunch: the food was excellent - I had the LocLak with garlic rice, it's a simple dish but with complex and unique flavors - and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. This is a must-try for vegans and vegan-curious in mid-city. We are definitely adding Srey Vegan to our short list of go-to vegan spots in the neighborhood!

Food was delicious. I just went onto Happy Cow and found this vegan restaurant nearby with simply an empty stomach. The food didn't take long but I could tell that the chef put her soul and heart into making the food. She was very friendly. I ordered the pork rice while my bf ordered the hookup. We shared our food and both dishes tastes really good. The faux meat tasted delicious and she even adds an edible orchid to her dishes. Please come visit this restaurant if you are nearby. Vegan or not, the food is delicious.
